  1. Rangeor pretty much has it covered, great post. It really does feel like you're just piling on stocks (it's evident that you tried to maybe add a lighting stock or something on screen due to the washed out look of both signatures) without any thought or consideration. A lot of my abstract signatures I did were done by using a lot of various stocks, but you have to be smart about it and not just pile stuff on.
  2. << Has a logitech keyboard and mouse. My MX518 lasted me around 6 years before I decided to get a G5. It's not that the MX518 was broken or even damaged (a bit dirty, sure) but I just felt like upgrading. I'm using a ~$15 keyboard as well from Logitech which is actually really awesome, very tactile and responsive.

I never used a rogue on my team. If you have a way of opening chests and bypassing deadly traps, then you don't need a rogue :P That stupid dragon took me 10 minutes to kill, and about 10 poultices and some lyrium potions, but yeah. [bleep] you High Dragon. And Force Field broke his instant kill grab too :D I went without a way to disarm traps/open locks, never felt the need to waste a spot for a rogue. For the most part I ran 2 warrior/2 mage. I would have maybe subbed a rogue in but I never got the bard chick and [bleep] the elf. High Dragon I killed in a few mins pretty easily.

  5. HoMM 2 and 3 are the best, 3 probably better than 2 by a bit. I used to play them a ton but got bored of the series with the more recent iterations.
  6. So you're saying either getting a laptop or a desktop for college? In all honesty if you're going back and forth from the dorms/your apartment to your house a lot than a laptop is actually really nice. Even getting a "desktop replacement" laptop, something like one that is 17", is really useful because you can just throw it in a backpack or something and move it around easy. I used a desktop for the first year or so of college and it was a pain in the [wagon] to have to move back and forth whenever I went home for breaks. Laptop is just so much nicer, and these days you can get a really solid laptop for around $1,000 that can play any game on the market.

Well mages are certainly the easiest, although really it doesn't matter because you can just fill the party in with whatever you don't have.

Had an awesome chili dog tonight for supper at the deli, was so good. Other than that same old same old stuff.

Apparently an Arcane Warrior can solo Nightmare... Mages are overpowered, but necessary. It fits within the lore of the game too, that mages can't leave the Chantry because of demon influence and that power being useful to the Darkspawn. I heard. It's sort of my goal, but I gotta get to 16 first lol.

Really enjoying my mage so far on my second playthrough. Seems really necessary to have good AoE skills to get through Nightmare difficulty. Planning on making him an Arcane Warrior. Well, he already is (level 7) but going to wait until 14/16 for when I have better gear and Arcane Warrior talents to do it -- he drains too much mana currently while in heavy armor.

I'm only like 30% through with the game's content.

The story has nothing to do with Baldur's Gate at all, it's more of a spiritual successor. I beat the game last night, clocked in about 35 hours or so just going straight through the story without hardly any side quests. I'm going to do a new character now and try and do all the side quests @ expert difficulty now :).

Was going to make a thread on this game, but found this one so I'll just post here instead. So is anyone else playing Dragon Age? It's such a good game, honestly it is easy one of the best RPG's I have played since Baldurs Gate II. The game is wonderfully hard, I've found myself having to reload and really be careful with tactics in a lot of the games harder fights. I've put around 30 hours into the game so far and even though I haven't beat it yet I'm already planning on what my next character will be (for an expert playthrough). I'm playing a Berserker/Champion Warrior right now who uses 2h's. He's pretty [bleep]ing beastly, I'll have to take a screenshot sometime.
  14. Man he looks even more messed up zoomed in.

umm... hi. Nadril Been here since around... 2001/2002. Hell if I remember, I think it's been 8 or 9 years. www.zackcerny.com , I guess. I do web stuff now for the most part.
  16. Blatantly false. Of the previously estimated 46 million "people in America that are without insurance", over 17 million make over $50,000 a year, an estimated 3 million are young risk takers, and 12-15 million are eligible for Medicaid. Take into account illegal immigrants in the statistic and the number falls down to something like 10 million, often less by some estimates. Were essentially spending 1 trillion dollars to make people who dont want insurance get it and shift a bit of the wealth to a couple million that people that aren't even allowed to be denied at a hospital if they're in need anyways. This. Is. Ducked. Up. Not to be a jerk but I think you're five years too early for political debate rocco. Not that my points are infallible (the above numbers are rough), it's just that you're talking a lot more emotion and personal opinion than actual argument based on world events. Why not just do health care then so that hospitals don't have to keep writing off those costs? I mean, the point I'm trying to make is we are paying either way. You have such a way with words.
  17. Ok Dragons Age is awesome. Such a great story and combat and I'm only 2 hours in.
  18. Seems like you're way way too paranoid about this. Just transfer the files after performing a scan. Hell, just perform a small scale scan on the DVD once you burn it.
  19. Getting Dragon Ages: Origins from steam now.

Yeah I don't really play NH much actually, I had fun with it though. Maliken I started to play last night and I'm really enjoying it so far. Bit more thought into combat with him due to his mechanics. Haven't gotten a chance to see him real farmed yet though, kept winning matches in under half an hour last night haha.
  21. The thing is the government is already having to pay a lot because of hospitals can't afford helping out all the people without insurance. Not saying that there would or wouldn't be an increase of taxes but just saying, they are paying either way.
  22. It depends on whether or not they're going to play casually, and pubstar or take a more competitive turn to it. Casually it's a fine game, but to everyone else it's bad. If they're just going to jump on for less than ten hours in a week, then it's fine to get the game in my opinion, as you'll be able to enjoy it fully, without much hindrance. I was going to possibly play it casually but they've kind of ruined the sense of community.

Did you give it a bit of a chance? I didn't really like it at first but once I learned what to do it got a lot more fun. And can't say I really care about competitive gaming at all, haha. It is fun to watch replays now and then though when bored.

Sure the language of the times may have changed since the 80's and 90's but kids are still pretty much kids. You've still got spoiled douchbags and you have the sensible kids (at least, sensible for their age haha). I don't think some people really realize or remember what they were like as a kid or a young teen, chances are you probably were just as irrational as some of these kids may seem today. Really the only issue I could find is that it does seem like we have less kids going outside due to gaming and such becoming much more mainstream. I played a lot of video games as a kid but even then I managed (well, my parents helped encourage...) to go outside for a good bit of the day. I can't really complain too much about people playing too many games but just saying, that is about the only difference I have seen.
  25. haha exactly. Do you mean to tell me you're never going to get hurt, or sick, Saruman? Everyone needs health insurance.
