would slayer with the arrows be a good alternative? Sure, you could do like skychi. Use a black range top (NO METAL!) barrows skirt and a torag helm. Fill the rest of the slots with range boosting gear and an accumulator. Then you're basically meleeing. Switch to full black dhide on safe spott-able tasks though.

I'm a total wc newb and I was thinking of cutting oaks to test the xpph and have some con supplies if I get membs back. Whats closest to a bank in f2p? Also I'd prefer 2+ spawns.

OK, heres another thing that bothers me.... I'm level 90. I'm lucky to find a level 75 in f2p. In a duel with movement, food, prayer, range, pots, range, AND magic turned off I managed to somehow loose. The RNG hates me... Even though I am obviously superior in combat to this guy stat wise and we're in the same equips. RS Combat is a friggin joke.

Considering that Armadyl is easily soloed with good stats and Saradomin is impossible to solo and very hard to kill with a group.... I'm amazed that AGS is still the most expensive.

You could duel. You don't risk anything so you can use your best stuff. You don't make any money but this game is about fun right?

Ok, I'm f2p at the moment. I'm ordering more RAM so WoW runs smoother but until them I'm woodcutting or dueling. I have a technique that helps me win duels: I turn food off and turn prayer off if I think they'll protect. (I don't like blowing money on runes. Call me cheap) 1) I start off in full rune and whatever melee weapon I find 2) I switch to mage at the start of the duel and bind. If they range me go to 3a, if they melee me in metal armor go to 3b, if they take of melee armor but keep the melee weapon go to 3c. 3a) If they have the brains to switch to dhide, I run up and melee them. Their lowered defense makes them alot easier to kill. If they keep the melee armour I just keep maging because there is no way they'll out damage me in full metal armor. 3b) This is where I get flamed alot... Bind, run, blast, repeat. I get loads of "You cheap mage", "Omg farcast noob", and "You couldn't beat me without bind". 3c) Depending on how much I splash I either use 3A or 3B. Mage is slow and weak, the only reason it is ever worth using is because it has snare and hits very well on meleers. I mages don't win without binds, you have to be able to play the class as it was mean to be played. It's like expecting a priest in WoW to not use Power Word: Shield and let the foe shred them. Mages are too squishy (especially in f2p) to handle attacks and they have to keep their distance. People need to realize this and stop calling me a cheap, farcasting, noob.

MTA will make roughly 100m if you do it all the way to 99. But it will take over a year because it is slow xp. I recommend you buy as many cosmic runes as you can and onyx enchant. Great xp and currently the best cost to speed ratio.

Rank 2 Varrock Armour and White Platelegs look good. Neither is hard to get aswell.

I have waaaay more items in my bank than f2p allows. About 20 rows more.... I'm not dropping 10m+ to save some pouches.

Ok... I got all three in 10 minutes the first time around. Is that really uncommon? Also keep in mind that If I meet my f2p time goals I will be using wc instead of rc for cash.

No, I'm pretty careful. I've gotten out of the habit of using "withdraw all" a long time ago. I also keep 29 of all my unstackables just in case.

...Bandos has better stats than dragon armour. :| Adding on to that: Better stats defensively and offensively. It also protects over more things and has less -mage bonus for tank maging.

I went f2p because of credit card issues. I didn't have control of it at the time. I'm still having issues so I don't know when I'll get it back. Heres the problem: I was RuneCrafting when it ended. I was able to put my ghostly robes and weight reducing gear into my bank because I had multiples. However three of my inventory spots are taken. Guess what's in them? My pouches. I only plan to wc and mine while I'm stuck in the green zone and I'm wondering if I should just drop the puches and re-obtain them if/when I get members back. Your opinions? What do you think I should do?
