  1. You typed "Sarctaft". #-o Other than that, I like them. Though nothing really new.
  2. IMO the blurry part on the right side doesn't fir with the tag. Other than that, great job. :
  3. The scan lines really add up IMO, gives the tag a "techy" look that matches perfectly with the render. As for the white space, +1 for brown.

+1, I'd have loved to see the guitar. Also, could I see the stock/render used?

Why are you being so hard with PdN guys, it's almost the same as GIMP. :?
  6. If it's not done by you why are you posting it? You did not site your sources and are trying to pass them off as your own work. How many times do you need to be told this. This must be like the 4th time you've done it. It's pretty clear what you did and did not do, sir. This post here makes you look like an idiot Ben, never ever ever quote just half of someones text, and that way changing the meaning of what he said. Read what he said again and comment after it.. And you said that charecther in the picture scratchy? Look your Captain Awesome comics and tell something about scratchy... Let's just all calm down, Ben probably missunderstood the post. Let's make love not war and go back to the OP (the picture itself). : I actually like the piece, it flows well, the colors match, and the blurriness fits it IMO. Only thing I can point out the use of such a big canvas,

Rofl, that would have been epic.

IMO Pillow Shading on the clothes should be more detailed. Also, I belive the lips could get a "re-touch", right now they look too wide. On the other hand, some hair falling from the hat, covering the forehead, would add a more realistic look to the character. Keep it up, can't wait to see the finished piece. PS: Is that OTM, by any chance?

Judging by your comments on the OP, looks like you scanned something you drew with a pencil. If so, I don't see what you did on PdN, apart from the strangely-animated text.
  10. This completely confused me, not really sure what you're commenting on. I've taken everything into account, I really appreciate the c/c given and I'll do my best to keep updating this thread as I add and change bits of the pixel. :) Let the picture do the talking. http://img152.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dibujoajd.png
  11. Doesn't look like a completed piece, there's a lot of shadows missing on the bricks and inside the castle. Looks like a WIP to me so 5/10.
  12. Anatomy seems off again on the new piece. The guy that's opening the safe should have smaller arms/hands, and the tied up one has log-like legs. I suggest you first draw some lines indicating the position of the bones and muscles, the add the clothes. Also, when you draw non-perfect stuff, a straight line isn't the best. If you're afraid of failing with the pencil tool, just use the line tool but don't draw it straight. The rope (or whatever ties the sit down person) should be a bit less saturated. You should also try using a color like this, with lighter/darker tones to make it look more like a rope. If it's not a rope and it's something like plastic or a "magic force", then ignore my comment. As Hiimben said, you should get a light source and begin shading from there. In this case, the window is a really good idea. You can even make sunrays on the floor, to make it look more realistic. You missed some perspective on the window. While the house/room goes from top-right to bottom left (I assume by the wall), the window goes from top to bottom-left & right. For filling the walls, bricks are the easiest thing to do without needing much skill. Look at real brick-walls pictures and/or other brick-walls pixels and you'll have no problem with that. As for filling the room, use your imagination! :) You can fill it with valuables/raw materials/armour/trophies. I'm afraid I can't help much since I'm not much RS-Pixel oriented. Overall, you've got potential, just need to fix some stuff. Good luck, I'll be waiting for the finished piece.
  13. For clouds, I'd look here. Also Cowboy14 is a good reference when it comes to pixels. As Moonshadow well said, the black outline doesn't do the picture any good, specially on such a small image. Try making other small lines (nose, eyes, mouth) look more smouth (AKA don't make them black and use Anti-Alias*) Keep practicing and you'll imrpove in no-time. :D *Anti-Alias: Anti-Aliasing (often abbreviated to AA) is making lines that are made of pixels look smoother. Sometimes this is done automatically by a graphics program. Some pixel artists do this by hand, by placing pixels of a color that lies in between the color of the (out)line and the background next to the (out)line. By Jopie211
  14. I love LB's work, 8/10.
  15. Aren't there GIMP plugins that create 3D images and that kind of stuff?
  16. You could use some more shadows, so your image looks a lot more smooth. You need to use less saturated colors (the ones that look more grey-ish). You also need to work a bit on anatomy, seems pretty off especially on the guy on the left. Tha lava. The lava doesn't run straight, it erodes the rock and marks a random path. Also, I'd suggest giving it more textures, shadows and tones. Wokr on those few things and you got it, don't give up and you'll become a great pixel artist in no-time. :)
  17. You are in my previous clan. Which I liked.
  18. Yuna one: Looks good, though could use some more effects. Also, the B&W downs it a bit. 7/10.
  19. Both of them are on tip.it, Cowboy14 and Hiimben.
  20. You've made awesome progress, good luck with 85 mining Cup. :)
