Is this true?
Yes. There's an option on the ring interface. You can only do this once.

CLS or CStaff
I know you're into safe PVP, so I say get the staff. Maul and rapier seem to cover pretty much everything you do as far as MHing, and you don't have a divine, so I can't see the CLS being particularly useful for you. But I would have to agree with Grimy Bunyip: you should just save for warped floors.

Wait, is Chris Hansen waiting for me, or did he catch Stone first? Hi, why don't you take a seat right over here . . .

200M in all Skills
Hey Aasiwat, I'm curious about something: why Balmung Pro? :P EDIT: Also, I was in TSG a long time ago, and I remember there being some animosity (or what seemed like it) between you and AMJ. I vaguely recall a slayer competition between SS and TSG. Is there still bad blood there? I was banned from TSG, and I personally do not like some of the moderators.

200 hours of fishing.
Thanks Stonewall. <3: As for the question, I currently have no reason to fish for 200 hours, but I do find fishing to be a relaxing skill (but only barbarian fishing at my level). I love to fish IRL, so fishing in Runescape has always had a certain appeal. Combat, however, is much more fun, so that's what I do.

Elite void has a prayer bonus. Very interesting. I wonder how Korasi's sword interacts with void, too. I'll do this quest later today.

200 hours of fishing.
Where, in either of those quotes, did I mention fishing? Furthermore, I'm afraid that the population of TIF does not constitute a mass consensus of what is or is not fun. Finally, asking if fishing is fun is the wrong question. Your poll is entirely pointless, and is more of an immature attempt to insult me than anything else.

Being sure of something is not the same as knowing it. You'll have to somehow prove (an impossible endeavor) that the majority of the Runescape population agrees that training any particular skill past 90 inherently lacks fun. If you can, I will concede that your opinion holds more weight than mine (or anyone else's). To conclude this petty argument over opinions (of which yours have flawed logic, as I've explained), I'll quote SirHartlar, who explained in two sentences something that I've been trying to explain for three pages or so.

Your really just arguing technicalitys now... You don't see me hassling you for proof about every statement you make. Its reasonable to assume that most people do not enjoy watching there character bob up and down over a fishing spot for 200 hours, but if you really need proof, i'll make a poll. My problem with your argument is that it is predicated on the notion that your opinion is shared by 100% (except for that one player who miraculously likes fishing, apparently) of the Runescape population. In other words, you are trying to argue that your opinion holds more weight than anyone else's. You don't think that quests should require high levels. I do. Who's right? Neither of us is right because we have differing opinions. However, my opinion has more basis in reality, as it only makes sense that, someday, Runescape quests will have requirements in the 90s. Furthermore, as other posters have explained, mythological heroes have always had to utilize various skills to complete their endeavors. You think Runescape should be different, but your only argument is that you don't want to raise your skills, therefore Jagex shouldn't "make" you, which is a perfect example of "pure syndrome" (it's a stereotype that pures often want things they can't have due to their handicaps, so they complain). tl;dr - you're lazy. Where did I claim that 100% of people like fishing?

lol opinion isnt equal to facts, you would be a fool to think so Maybe Sir Kurity can prove it, seeing as how you can't, apparently. He keeps making sweeping generalizations about certain skills, so I assume that he has data to prove that all players find fishing (or any skill) to be inherently boring/tedious (the opposite of fun). Can you prove that only one person in all of Runescape finds fishing (or whatever skill) to be fun?

So neither of you can prove, with facts and statistics, that not a single player finds any particular skill (you can choose any of them, doesn't matter to me) fun?

k i lied. only logged in for farm runs. still doing fine. STONEWALL BUY MY PLANE TICKET AND I'LL FLY UP THERE.- Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
And, exactly as Blade predicted, the author's friends come running to her defense when she's criticized.- Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
Exactly. Glove, Stonewall is not the author here, Racheya is. Even if Stonewall declared himself the next Tolkien, his prowess in writing is completely mutually exclusive of his ability to see fallacies in Racheya's article. By your logic, the only people who are allowed to judge music are musicians, when clearly that is not the case.- Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
You've made a number of claims about other people's knowledge of and ability to write, can you please explain to me what makes you eminently qualified to judge that? If you have a sample of your own writing that I can read, I would appreciate that as well. I would be willing to do the same for you if you like. Lol at you guys jumping Stone, you don't see me waltzing to the reviews section of a major newspaper, magazine, or any publisher and asking them for their credentials or previous work.... I'm not trying to 'jump' on him, I'm asking him because he's making statements about other people's abilities and I have no means of judging his own (aside from his posts, which don't provide a big enough sample). People don't generally ask for samples from professional writers for samples of their work because it's generally pretty easy to find some. If someone has written a review, I have something I can read and decide for myself whether or not I trust the judgment of the person. He's questioned other people's ability to write and knowledge of writing, and in turn I'm questioning his. He's free to question mine in response, I'm not asking for anything I would not willingly provide in turn. Asking for examples of his work/credentials doesn't make any sense. I don't need to have a degree in English to tell you that 'your' does not mean 'you are'.- Panasonic's Jungle
I'd love to play Runescape on this thing. Certain skills would be a piece of cake. I could cut ivy while I take notes in class. :P- Grandmaster - What The Name Means and Why It's Not Enough
Hear, hear. =D>- Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
I, too, have attempted to apply for the editorial staff without so much as a reply. At the expense of modesty, if Stonewall and I were the editors, there wouldn't even be these types of discussions. Racheya's article wouldn't have been released because it would've been apparent within two seconds of reading it that she literally has no clue what she's talking about. There's a difference between an opinion piece and uninformed drivel.- 1st October, 2010: Behind the Scenes - October
Prove that training any skill for 200 hours isn't fun. Go train fishing for 200 hours, come back and tell me you had 100% fun doing it, then you can use that as proof. Sorry but that is just an idiotic thing to say. I didn't ask for your opinion on fishing, nor do I care to give you my opinion on fishing. I asked if you could prove, with facts and statistics, that training any skill (you can choose any one you like) for 200 hours is inherently boring. Can you? EDIT: You seriously need proof of this? Yes, I do. Your argument is that grinding should not be required to complete a quest, correct? Your argument assumes that all skills are equally tedious and boring (read: grinding), so I assume that you have proof that no one has fun training any particular skill in Runescape.- 1st October, 2010: Behind the Scenes - October
Prove that training any skill for 200 hours isn't fun.- 40M by Christmas?
You could go to TDs every day and make way more than 40-50m before Christmas. - /obt/
