  1. Quests can and should progress in difficulty, but do high requirements actually add anything to the game? As far as im concerned, any quest requirement which requires an excessive amount of grind (excessive is kinda based on how long/good the quest is), doesn't actually add anything to the game, and only really makes high levels happy while saying screw you to everyone else. As for boss fights taking no skill, well that could really be a problem with bosses. If your only solution to that is to force people into grinding a skill into the high 90's in order to add "difficulty" then thats not the right way to go about it. I for one would have more fun in a quest if i beat a boss with reflexes and skill, not with grinding which apparently makes the quest "harder". Quests shouldn't be all about combat, etc.
  2. D'oh, my mistake. Obtaurian : P2P Hope that's right. EDIT: I'm #1 on TIF in three BA roles. I'm #2 in the fourth. :shades:
  3. Runescape name: Obtaurian.
  4. Title changed to reflect my political views.
  5. Interestingly enough, it's because of Runescape that I can type 80+ WPM. I started playing in 2001, and you had to type fast to talk to people (you still do, of course), so I did.
  6. :( I really can't stand agility. While Runecrafting is slower and very similar, I have the option of making money doing it (albeit not much money and at the cost of slowing it down even more). For me, the best part of training agility is playing BA. ;) Sorry broski.
  7. This. It's just that the discussions are usually very heated, so it seems like there's a lot of flaming and trolling (admittedly, there's a lot of trolling, but it's usually accompanied by intelligent discussion).
  8. Obtaurian's Hippity Hop Blog.
  9. This is technically the truth. Makes it even more fun to use.
  10. U have a vid on YT with 66 views. That is pretty leet. I have some videos floating around youtube with a few hundred views, but they're super old and just me [bleep]ing around, L. also gratz 2 u Losing Games Also I'm sorry about your tiredness Saru
  11. Irregardless (fun fact: 'irregardless' is just a weird way to say 'regardless'; they have the same exact meaning) of its usefulness, I've always wanted a SGS, so I'd probably buy one should I ever find myself with an extra 50M.
  12. Yeah. The Runescape Sections (especially General from what I know.) seem to have fallen below normal. I have been away from it through so my senses may have became dull, or OT has made me more mature. Can't tell. All I know is that it appears that a lot of people enjoy an Ego boost. Through I bet with time it will return to a more "less aggressive" environment. Indeed, and if this continues, TIF will slowly but surely turn into the 2nd RSOF. That's pretty pessimistic of you. Let's argue about it.
  13. Almost every single high-level player that I know (and most of them are decidedly efficient) does at least one herb run daily. One of them, D Jay99, has gotten something like 10m farming experience on herbs and bushes alone. It takes five minutes, it's easy, and it's a nice chunk of money in your pocket. The elite cape is extremely convenient if you do more than one herb run a day.
  14. There's the Valluta, Juna, and the guardian of FOG whose name I can't remember. Fiara, and the RS Wiki states the Balance Elemental is one too. I'd go for that. Oh yeah, forgot about that dude.

  16. Back in the old days we actually had to walk to the location we were needed at. Everyone is in such a hurry these days and nobody has time to take a nice walk from Ice Mountain to Taverley Dungeon while smelling the fresh, clean Catherby wind blowing through Taverley.... Im starting to sound like my grandpa... Yeah nobody wants to do that. Or if they do, nobody's stopping them. Knock yourself out. When P2P first came out, I had to muster all of my courage to walk through white wolf mountain. I was always so afraid that I would die. When I finally got across, I'd stay on that side of the mountain for weeks because I knew that if I went back, I'd regret it and have to make the trek again. Those were the good ol' days. EDIT: Whenever I have a clue on white wolf mountain, I kill the big wolf out of spite.
  17. reported. all of you are reported for trespassing. :/ OHHHHHHH and I'm finally getting somewhere on this song I've been working on. I have... six songs finished and three or four more that I'm working on. I'm contemplating playing an open mic night, but I'm kind of nervous tbh. I play in front of family and friends no problem, and I've played live before with my old band (but I was 16 then), but it's pretty nerve-wracking. Also, I'm gonna be recording it all soon, and putting videos up on Youtube. FML that's a lot to think about.
  18. As soon as I max ranged and prayer (four more levels in each), all of my effigies for the rest of my Runescape career (or until 99) are going to agility, no question.
  19. Those look very, very nice. I love the slayer cape. I'm actually planning on going for 120 slayer in the future. ;)
  20. Well, max combat would be the preferable combat level, but I have no idea how close you are to it. Realistically, you can do it at any level, but the lower you are, the more of a hindrance you become to your team. Try to find players around your level and establish a permanent team. That would be your best bet.
  21. Lol, I see what you did there.
  22. LOL. Calculators - use them.
  23. Golvellius - trolling good players since 1936. EDIT: Forgot the word 'attempting'. EDIT2: And 'to'. EDIT3: And 'trolling' should shortened to 'troll'.
  24. Or trying to do it without following guides. I didn't follow any guides and I did it my first try. I was wearing proselyte, no turmoil, no extremes/overloads. It was nowhere near Nomad, which is disappointing.
