@ Omali, The abyssal whip is a literal intestine from an abyssal demon. You're right in your assumption that penance armor is made from actual penance monster parts.

rs-my downfall
Easier said than done. How so? I don't see what's so hard about closing the Runescape client and opening up Microsoft word. EDIT: To the OP: There's some eerie similarities between the way you started Runescape and the way I did. Fifth grade, best friend, best friend stopped playing. We also seem to be pretty close in age. You're 18, right? I'm 20. You kind of remind me of a TIFer named Abc1230, only you've taken control of your life. I'm glad to see that you're trying to do better for yourself. Some people lack self-control when it comes to certain vices, and while I don't believe that quitting altogether is the only solution, it's certainly not a bad solution, necessarily. Anyway, good luck with your life. I got really bad grades in high school, but I turned myself around. You can do it, too.

Has Anyone Mentioned Dungeoneering Yet?
Oh, and I thought it'd be pretty cool to tie the high level smithing update into dungeoneering. You use ores from daemonheim to modify existing armor, but only from mithril to runite (katagon for mithril, gorgonite for adamantite, and promethium for rune). The question is HOW you get those ores out of Daemonheim.

Has Anyone Mentioned Dungeoneering Yet?
I've actually given up for the time being for that very reason. I might get it to 50 so I can bind two items, but I'm just going to work on stuff that directly affects my Runescape experience for now. I'm eagerly awaiting the second batch of content.

CODGUY IS LAME
GF I got it first, [bleep].

= New Chaotic Items =
Could be used in place of (or in addition to) an extreme magic potion. Would be pretty intimating to try and crash a guy with a 15%+ damage modifier advantage.

Dungeoneering Journals - *I Need Your Help!*
According to entry #14 in the Wikipedia link, Bilrach was Zamorak's second in command. This makes him Azzanadra's "equal," in a sense. I also wonder if Nomad really is Bilrach, as was previously speculated.
- oliek...i heard you liek the square root of 122500?

Interesting point here about the cape, if you surge with SoL, you can wear the soul wars cape for the +12 prayer which definitely help your trip to last longer. However having CoG prevents some crashers and you kill a bit faster. Question here is that which is better. It really depends on what happens. If you don't get crashed, SoL with SW cape is better. If you get crashed, however, you're going to wish you had CoG. EDIT: Well said. VVVVV

Even if this was an activity, nothing can fail as hard as MA. Dungeoneering is fun regardless of its classification.

I would be pretty annoyed if the luck based factor is back again. I mean yes some lore on how did we get the tokens or whatever would be nice, but the reason I like it is because the system right now is because it completely takes out the luck factor. If Jagex let the bosses drops loots, I will be disappointed. Not impossible. For example, you'll always get the coal bag from the 6th Gluttonous Behemoth. Or you get a frosted page for every even numbered encounter with Astea Frostweb, and 20 pages = one tome of Frost. Granted the chance to meet each boss is randomised, but I'll prefer this over tokens and vouchers and a whole bunch of excuses (lore) for it. I would be happy with that.

Prayer Bonus at Waterfiends?
Ardougne cape 3, SW cape, fire cape, Lumbridge ring 3 (better than Kuradal's ring with a tiny prayer bonus), skill cape.

Why does Jagex get new skills so wrong?
I like how people are bashing summoning because of the way it was released, as if it's not one of the most useful skills we have, if not the most useful.

Why does Jagex get new skills so wrong?
Well, sorry if I've given that impression. I certainly think it is possible to be happy with how Jagex does things and have the capacity for critical thought, but most of the responses I get are simply flames from people who are offended by the mere existence of people who disagree with Jagex's way of doing business. And that's pretty irritating as well. And usually when I list specific examples showing they are out of touch, nobody really has much of a response to it (cf the penance trident). The problem, Qeltar, is that you often do the same thing exact thing you say your opponents do: you don't respond to arguments. You're also a lot like MHL in that you're somewhat of a broken record. Yes, we know you dislike this week's update, and we know why you dislike it, and we know what you're going to say, and it's getting very old. No one is arguing that dungeoneering is perfect as it is. We all know that it needs tweaking. We know. EDIT: The penance trident is entirely decorative, IMO. People complained that the armor set effect was underwhelming, too, but in the end they're just minigame rewards that show dedication to a game rather than serve some great purpose. Though, the armor set does have its niche.

Yak or overloads?
I would go with the yak. You should go to rock lobsters till 99 magic if you really can't stand fiends, but definitely switch to CT fiends after that. It's really fun, IMO.

Why does Jagex get new skills so wrong?
Belongs in rants next to all of the other crappy straight-outta-RSOF posts. I stopped taking you seriously at "last three skills."

Canadian, I've rarely had trouble finding safespots. Sometimes you have to run around ala-Sara GWD, but all you need is a little creatively when using ranged/mage.

Did you download the client?
I like the client. It's simple and effective. Never really been a fan of SK, and playing in a browser gives me lag.

No new skills
There's nothing more serious than getting your [wagon] handed to you by a level 500+ boss that can OHKO every player in your team.

POLL: What are your thoughts on the current Dungeoneering Rewards?
There should be an option for "I like the rewards, but some of the costs need serious reconsideration," which is how I feel about them, with the exception of disliking the chaotic crossbow and staff entirely. EDIT: My mistake, I suppose it fits into the the second option.
