  1. In my humble opinion, the 2k point requirement for unlocking strykewyrms, as well as the detriments of not using a fire cape are an acceptable compromise. I have 95 slayer and a fire cape, by the way.
  2. Anyone else notice the new strength bonus? If I understand it correctly, it tells you exactly how much more damage you can deal.
  3. Ya I totally agree. I don't post much but I always liked runescape for what made it unique such as a non super complex game interface and playing style. This update only seems to complicate the game and confuse pkers and boss hunters for a while. If you think multiplying everything by ten is difficult, then you better go back to school mate. Why should he go back to school? It's not so much as counting or dividing by 10, it's the fact that it's been the same from the start. I've been looking at double digit hp for over 6 years. By that logic, shouldn't any armor past rune make you want to quit? No, because they're have always been different armours, but there has always only been double digit hp. Seeing as you probably haven't been playing as long as I have or else you would understand, let's compare this to real life shall we? Let's say you like watching a tv series, and have been for the past 6 years. Than one day the producer of the show changes the show to only black and white, no colors. How about that? For the record, if you've been playing for six years, I've been playing much longer than you. That said, I disagree with your analogy, as it involves taking a step backward, where the constitution update takes a step forward.

  5. That's just grasping at straws to explain this change. They could already have done that with the HP skill. Sara brews already work like that. Rocktails heal beyond your HP. The new thing is that they can bring out items that boost your max HP without healing you, it is more flexible than before. I don't understand, how do you boost your max hp without healing yourself? I'm confused :-| You can boost your possible HP, not your actual HP.
  6. WOW, the slayer changes are crazy. I'm logging in and seeing Kuradal right away.
  7. After today, Runescape will never be the same. I'm pretty excited. I've wanted an HP system like this for a long time.
  8. I always thought it was pretty well known that Tolna's madness had something to do with Zaros.
  9. Agreed. That was my favorite part. Also, maybe I'll apply for the editorial staff as a full-time editor (not writer). I have nothing better to do with my life.
  10. I lol'd. I heard you tryed to dupe Usain Bolt but you couldn't catch him I lol'd again. I love TIF sometimes.
  11. I literally lol'd at the top ten. How's that for justice?
  12. Very well-written and informative guide. I'll definitely be using this, as I've always enjoyed the Sorceress' Garden minigame.

Why don't I have a right to complain if someone is higher level then me and crashes? Does they're higher combat automatically allow them access to anything they please at whatever time? Exactly. Glad we're on the same page.
  14. The author's syntax, grammar, and walls of text really irk me. I've said this about Tip.it Times articles before, and no offense ('no offense' always precedes something offensive) to Mirrorforced, but these articles should be edited by multiple people and sent back to the author for revision multiple times before they're posted on the main page. The article itself was underwhelming, I thought.
  15. 30 Days of Night is pretty cool.
  16. I'm an American college student and I could not agree with the OP more. I think it's silly that we don't learn second or third languages. I took Spanish for the first time when I was fourteen, and living in Southern California, Spanish is easily the most useful second language that I could possibly know, but I'm just not very interested in it. I'm learning French in college right now, and I plan to continue with it for years to come. As someone who wants to travel, and French being the wide-spoken language that it is, I feel that this is a more worthwhile investment than Spanish. I really, really wish that I had been forced to start learning French at a young age. I understand, however, that it's not absolutely vital for most Americans to learn a second language. In my area, yes, it helps a lot, but most places it'd go to waste. I would still consider our lax view of second languages to be an educational failure, though.

The way I see it, if you're being crashed by someone higher level than you, you have no right to complain. If you're being crashed by someone of about equal level, and you fail, you have no right to complain. If you get crashed by someone lower level than you, and you lose, you have no right to complain. Don't like a crasher? Leave and come back armed and ready for maximum DPS. Steal kills for twenty minutes. Laugh. ????. Profit.
  18. You can choose to not free that gnome, so players who chose not to would be unable to start this quest. EDIT: And, after reading over the quest... it sounds really odd. I'm not sure how to give you constructive criticism in this case. I don't like it.
  19. Oldie but goody. Thanks for sharing.
  20. I'm gonna forgo the gold rush and just do agility that weekend. Problem solved.
  21. Herp. To OP: Good luck finding someone willing to do a trust trade of that magnitude. Your best bet is to spend a few weeks at TzHaar, to be honest. I don't think you have any other options.
  22. Yeah, what Glasscube said: You can do the quest, but if you're talking about soloing the Corporeal Beast after the quest, then definitely not. Not even close.
  23. Hahahaha, I love you, Halkod.
