Cheating... Or is it...?
Could this be the catalyst that gives us clean-x for herbs? Seems like the only way to really stop it.

Last Minute XP Weekend Preparations
I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't have the money to train summoning or herblore this weekend. As such, I'll be training agility and runecrafting.

Tip.it Times March 7 2010
I'm attempting to apply, but it's not going very well. EDIT: Well said.

Tip.it Times March 7 2010
I've already PM'd Mirrorforced about it, but from now on I'll make it my business to edit the articles after they've been posted. If I didn't care about Tip.it or the Times, I wouldn't be going out of my way to do any of this.

I'll never understand how anyone can train agility to such high levels without committing genocide. Teach me your ways.

There needs to be more communication between the editors and authors, apparently. "Human error" is a poor excuse. Plenty of editors are able to put out newspapers, books, articles, etc, etc, without any mistakes whatsoever because they take the time to make damn sure that there are no mistakes. Here's a nearly foolproof way to churn out great articles: 1) Author writes article. 2) Author proofreads article multiple times. 3) Author sends article to editing team. 4) Two or three editors do their thing. 5) Editors send article back to author for revision. 6) Author revises, makes corrections, and sends the article back. 7) An editor looks at the final draft and makes corrections. 8) Article is posted. 9) ???? 10) Morningrise333 isn't angry. As explained by N0M_AN0R and Master_Smither, the breakdown occurred when N0M sent the edited article back to Master_Smither for revision, but that would not have happened if an editor had looked at the article before it was supposed to go up on the main site. In conclusion, the problem is a lack of protocol and communication between editor and author. It's nice that you guys and gals are attempting to stick up for each other, but the problem isn't an individual one, so there's no need to get defensive about it. My advice to Mirrorforced would be to lay down some guidelines that would ensure perfect or near-perfect articles every Sunday. If the problem is a lack of helping hands, I'm more than willing to lend mine.

I just suicide after five minutes. It's pretty AFK, so it's something to do while you're doing homework or whatever.

Tip.it Times March 7 2010
Once again, the first article was definitely NOT edited by anyone, as there are a few glaring mistakes that could not possibly be overlooked by anyone with some semblance of an education. While it would be nice if the writers could proofread and correct their own mistakes as much as possible before submission, it's ultimately the editor's job to make sure that NOTHING is posted without being thoroughly checked for errors.

Mad's Ranged Slayer Blog
I'm mage slaying right now using ahrim's, switching between claws of guthix and wind surge. It's really expensive and the only way I'm able to sustain it is by farm runs and MTK everyday. I'll be range slaying when I hit 99 Summoning. Good luck.

New Slayer Changes Discussion
Personally, I wouldn't want to get 99 slayer with full rune and a dragon longsword. Change can be a good thing.

03-Mar-10 Changes to HP Skill, Shattered Heart, RuneScape Lobby/Login Changes, Success at Smelting Iron
The xp rates are the same...... I would think with the added third digit, instead of being rounded down, a fragmented time per hit has been reduced from your normal kill. Therefore you could theoretically kill a monster faster and start on the new one sooner, therefore having faster experience. Very minuscule but it adds up in the end. This. Exactly.

RIP Runescape
Wrong, Runescape died the day In Pyre Need was released, obviously. Nonetheless, your argument is both eloquent and chock-full of logical conjecture. I simply cannot disagree with such a craftsman of words, as it were, verily speaking.

Harder to Kill Things Now
It's statistically impossible for anyone to be killing things slower than before. Your hits are no longer rounded down, therefore you hit higher than you did before the update.

Yeah, this update is definitely not going away. I don't say this very often, but I have a lot of confidence in Jagex on this one.

What about melee?
Diamond e bolts + focus sight = Equal to melee. + Rangers are getting Dragon crossbow. Besides Rangers have safespots, does melee have that? NO. As a low level Warrior, killing metals with melee cost alot. While rangers and magers had safespot (so no prayer pot needed)... Also turmoil costs... We have no idea if we're getting a dragon crossbow soon. It could be a couple years, so that's a moot point. Safespots are almost inefficient for rangers and mages, as they make using combat familiars nearly impossible (I say nearly because some safespots, like the black demons room in CT, give you open space with which to send forth your familiar into battle). It's not difficult to tank no matter what style of combat you're using. Low level? Are you low level? I know I'm not, so I don't know why that's an issue. If you're so low level that metals are a problem, you might want to block them. You can make money slaying with turmoil if you know what you're doing. It's much harder and more expensive to make money mage slaying or range slaying. EDIT: To clarify, if you're willing to use turmoil on task, you should also be willing to use 15% prayers or leech prayers for range and mage, hence making them more expensive, especially because it's harder to get high prayer bonuses without sacrificing attack bonuses.

What about melee?
I would be very surprised if a ranger (other than black knives on greaters) could kill any slayer monster as fast as a guy with a whip using turmoil. Perhaps with dragonstone bolts or something ridiculous like that, yes, but I just can't justify giving melee attack bonuses to the slayer helm when melee is already superior when slaying. Consider that range and magic cost money to train slayer with, too. There really isn't any reason to give melee, which is already overpowered, even more attack power.

That's counterproductive if your goal is troll the RSOF!

New Slayer Changes Discussion
I'm happy with the fire cape compromise. It puts those who refuse to try and get their own fire capes at a pretty hefty disadvantage.

You need extra flare to attract more ranters, which leads to more posts --> more people view. I would've made it more insulting to the RSOF in general, as all my posts are. I just hate that place, lol. I agree. Your post was good, but you need to throw in a couple more insults.
