This is a good start for Jagex starts to make scamming more difficult by implanting a colour change for different quantities of goods. However, I strongly feel that the current, brand new system have some loopholes or faults which can be eliminated by the following setup: =D> Notification screen when there is a change of quantity of good / gold piece offered when the changer tries to accept his second trade screen again after an alter :D Can you figure out what's different between transaction A and transaction B? :-k Transaction A: Transaction B: Right, A has 33 salmons offered and the other one has 88 salmons, yet orange words appears in the second screen (not uploaded). :ohnoes: See the new system isn't perfect and scamming is only slightly harder than before :!: But if a notification screen coming up,in this case, a notification concerning the removal of 55 salmons, with this comfirm button locked by 3 seconds (which prevents people accidentally closing it), a change in quantity of goods or removing / changing goods can be figured out decently. :mrgreen: This update is definitely easier than quest update or Varrock update. some guys hates following rules - even some of the p2ps. They enjoy more as they can earn more. However, they surprised me by buying these golds :cry: How about the f2ps? Collecting golds and essential items are much harder for them. (Consider 1 law = 450gp in p2p, but 1 law = 1k in f2p. Buying law in bulk in Ape Toll and sell them in f2p is very easy to earn. F2p needs to sell 5 lobs for a law for survival in wildy, but p2p only needs to catch a shark and that's it.) That's really a shame for those p2ps who took part in this crime. People says that 1 days for p2p = 1 abyssal whip. That they abondoned this and turned themselves to gold farmers is really disguisting and ridiculous. :wall: Anyway, they paid the unbearable price - permanent BAN. \

Simple: by tracking down the transections. The possible transaction means used by gold farmers never vary much, and the common ones are using the broker in runescape (trade screen). Player puts nothing or junks while the gold farmer puts the cash the cheater desires :cry: Or they can simply perform drop trade at quiet places #-o Common sense? we can even use a formula to derive the possiblity of such cheating. Like :? log(cheater gets/cheater gives(based on market value)) = Cheating index. If cheating index is greater than a fixed constant, say 1.66, the players may be involved in this bad activity or scamming. These transaction can be further investigated to see whether a voilation of rules is involved (p.s. log 1=0, log 10 = 1 log 100 = 2) Please post comments =D>

The censoring of many common words :( They censor anything that they can link to sex, or racialism, or so on But that's impractical. Let's pick this as an example Assume that everyone knows the word 'b*lls' have some special meanings. Can they ban it? Definitely not! Or I would be selling ****s of wool 15gp ea in the market Everyone knows Trust Trade goes against the rules, but the phrase "trust trade" isn't censored. this proves that the system is very curde and should be replaced by more sensitive system

it maybe better, but cannot completely block the scamming situation Let say, changing 1.88 to 1.33k still works and the colour is the same, but this is still a scam which is hard to tell Anyway, this is better than nothing. A better idea may be Bolding and make the colour of text in RED once the quantities of items are altered 1.5 seconds before proceeding to 2nd trade screen and lock the accept key for 3 seconds to prevent traders from accepting scams accidentally These may help more as the change is more obvious for the victim

Dark Beasts... 1) Kill them using safe spots or a hidden line that it won't cross. then use a rune/dragon ??? which can hit enemy 2 sqs away 2) Run into them, turn protection from prayer(extremely unrecommanded)

thanks I'm now training ranged using wizards. They are weak, yet they drop some chaos :) Really, the amount of them can be neglected when compared to picking in front of moss giants. Anyway, if i need them, i will buy them/pick in wildy. I better stick to strikes for a f2p as they can be crafted, and only bring some chaos/deaths for pking :lol: Anyway, thanks for all you guys answers. You may find my combat a noob (lvl37 combat now) I could do many things, yet i was a noob when i first reached Lumbridge. I know much things thanks to the great Tip-it (no bluffing, that's true) and my real friends. I learnt most types of scams and realised how silly it is to get to Wildy with a fire cape. What I did? killed chicken until combat = 15, went to draynor, and wc, fishing until 15 and start mining and so on I'm sooooooooo clear of that 'cause my account is registered 5 weeks ago :pray:

if i were you, i won't bring that cape to wildy or other dangerous places :D

the best way - mechanting, that is, buy and sell or you may try raising other skills like fishing or mining woodcutting is not recommanded as willow don't sell much, every macorer got a rune axe and got high wc status, rendering a competition of cutting yews with them impossible in a f2p world fishing is one major way for me to collect money (not much, in fact) The money raised can be your capital when you first try out mechanting. I tried fishing out and find it easy to earn, provided that your fishing level>30, cooking level >35 (so that you don't burn much) Get 1k feathers for no more than 6.5k and buy a fly fishing rod if your fishing level is greater than 20. Fish and cook the fish, perferable near Barbarian village and bank in Edgeville. Once you get 100 fishes, sell them Cooked Trout: 50ea Cooked Salmon: 85ea fishing is fast and simple. If you are below 20 fishing, train it up! Everyone needs it, even you hate it. fishing is pretty fast and don't have much to bother, and you may work on other items when you fish (remember to take a glimse on the screen regularly as random event may kill you)

mechanting is the best way you can think of Buy rune armor individually, and sell them as a set => profit or you may try flax or yew logs or coal or whatever

thanks for this pretty idea. at least now i know that curse is similiar to bolts in terms of experience but they are easier to cast and acquire. Just randomly pick some monsters and curse them, then kill them, say Cows or chickens or whatever Why I hate black knight castle because PKers always trys to launch a ambush there :cry: I went to the area where moss giants lives seems to be quiet places where nobody goes, but occasionly, a high lvl player pops up as they try to avoid other pkers near lava maze/red dragon isle. Knowing that the runes cost 120ea and I probably got a lot of them as nobody else disturbs me, they just ... pked me. Their high level and the high lvl wildy rendered any teleported fruitless (i lost 72 runes with a set of Varrock teleport several hours ago )

Anyway to acquire Chaos Rune in large quantities in F2P? (1) No wilderness please as i already know there are respawns in Black Knight Castle & Moss Giant @ lvl37 wildy :!: (2) Please I am a noob so don't expect me killing moster with combat >50 (3) Don't ask me to join members, buy them or flood this article with junks. He pressed accept as well i, seeing that the money is gone, hit decline => no loss =D> -------------------------------------- me: selling 20 lobsters 3.8k scammer trades with me, and puts up 3.3k cash and hit accept through I'm sleepy, i know what the scammer attempts to do and i removed 3 lobsters. Then I hit accept the scammer, only hopes to finish the ugly job quickly, hits accept. I hit accept as well The transaction gone through well and i said: nice try the scammer said: ur scammer i walked away later, the scammer PM me, telling that i was reported and of course, he didn't do so or his account - ruined as he tried scamming in advance!

a mith axe, at that moment i've got a rune axe and decided to throw away that mith one.So I gave it to someone else. However, the one who received the axe tried to sell the axe once he've got that. This made me MAD!!!
