Dragon slayer f2p help
That's right. Furthermore, wear full addy (use the standardized anti-dragon shield of course. Don't bring addy kite or you will become a piece of roasted duck in seconds. For the melzar maze issue... You can go up to the lvl44 mage without problems. When you face that mage, change to leather armor, slash it with a addy scim quickly. For that lessor, you can use a safespot (if I'm right). Even fire strikes can slay it as this demon is weak in defence For that dragon, you should melee with pot... Yes, you will be hit hard, so bring 2 or 3 friends waiting. Once you've depleted your fish supply, go out, and run back to Crandor (you can't trade when those lvl45 or lvl25 skeletons are punching you). Trade, and run back to the dragon before it completely heals itself. Determine whether your friends have enough supplies for you. If you need extra food, ask them to teleport back to Lumbridge, go to the bank in castle (Drayor bank works as well) and withdraw extra supplies for you By the way, if you're a member, I believe you can use anti-fire pot (the purple one) to aid you as well. . Compounded by anti-fire shield, I think you will be free from most damages by dragon fire. (NOT SURE AS I"M A NON-MEMBER. ASK A FRIEND BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT IT)

Mining help - lvl 63
I have been training up my mining level, in order to reach the highly profitable lvl70 (addy ores ftw!) in f2p server. So far, I'm currently at lvl63. BTW, addy ores is the only profitable biz in f2p which have never been affected by bots. (a small tip for f2p players) :D It'd be nice if you can tell me which method is faster - mining coal, or mining gold (wow that rhymes ) Because if the speed difference is small, I will mine gold instead of coal for the much higher profit after selling gold ores. Furthermore, is it better in terms of monetary return if using Falador teleport runes to save time after mining a bunch of gold ore, provided that I had chosen mining gold in advance. My route will be Falador bank =RUN=> Crafting Guild =TELE=> Falador Square =Run=> Falador bank (repeat...) in case of this. Thanks in advance!

Awww? Poor gold farmer? [please lock]
my feeling is mixed. Standing on my own point of view, they make all the resources price level pummel. My lobsters no longer sells for 250ea but 220ea, lvl70 woodcutting in f2p is no longer a road to millionaire... Of course, I would say all of them selfish However, if you know how they suffer due to lack of income of jobs, and bow to their need to taking care of families, I feel it is quite curel to remove all of them, leaving their family in starvation. Furthermore, without them, many legitimate player suffers due to severe inflation. (The low price level is mainly contributed to the huge supply. When the supply are removed, price goes up) Concluding this two, I can understand why Jagex trys to keep a balance. In fact, if they want to remove all the macroers, that would be pretty easy, well within their abilities.

Hill giants are way too strong
oops... I better make changes to my posts I made that silly deduction for the guild you join (Rango union if I'm right.) Rango... I thought that is something related to ranged style attack or range pures. So I better pull off that criticism. I regret posting it here before getting the accurate data. For the armor issue... I believe your armor may be superior than his, for example, you may use full mith while he may use studded bodies (for the sake of cost). That may result as a difference. The lvl20 difference is based on my experience on using ranged armor in training melee. There may be some difference if you uses a full metallic armor instead of the leather counterparts

Are the highscores getting full?
they are NOT full, some of the skills like Herb or Agility or RC have less than one million players owning the minimum lvl30 needed to access the highscore. And by the time you can make nature runes (i.e. lvl44), you are the top 300000 players. However, getting lvl44 runecrafting is NOT hard, if one chooses the suitable method. So, is it full? Not really, I'm afraid. It is not even half-full!

tip.it impersination email scam
What? A guy with 17 post counts is a TipIT Mod? Don't Email anything, until everything is clear. Should that be necessary, a global announcement by a senior mod would be made. Passwords would NEVER be asked as they has already got yours intact, encrypted in the server database. If the password was missing or deliberately vandalized, YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE FORUM THAT YOU"RE CURRENTY USING!, as your inputted password have to be compared to the encrypted one existing the the database, ensures that they are the same, before letting you get access to the forum features. Stay smart, stay cool, stay calm. Being nervous may lead to errors. p.s. 2 changes due to grammer mistakes. p.s.s. Nice post, but try to search for logical errors before you post. A logical loophole can completely spoil your plot!

deleted due to some misunderstandings. (apologise)

Hill giants are way too strong
No they arn't. First, you should judge your training monsters depending on your combat level. The most optimum way is judging by the difference of combat levels. For me, (my combat lvl-monster lvl) > 20 Below 20 lvls, I use foods deadly quick and I have to restock often. You are currently lvl39, and hillys are lvl28. That is normal for you to eat often and unable to sustain a long period of time I regret to say hillys shouldn't be made too easy. If they are too weak, many people will come for their big bones (=400ea in f2p). This makes training even more chaotic due to fiercer competition. Try to train to lvl45 to lvl50 before you attempt hillys. Train with guards, or monsters in the first level of security of stronghold will be a wiser's choice. Forget about loots. Unfortunately, it is quite hard for you to receive tons of loots at your current level.

fishing advice
fly fishing, cook & give them to low level players nearby (mostly pures) This is the only way to earn persistent fishing experience along with cooking one in f2p servers.

Dragon Slayer Help f2p >.<
your stat... should be okay. But that would be hard battle. You may need a strength pot, and the best f2p food - Avochovies (misspelling) pizza (2 bites, 9hpea, compare to swordfish a single bite for 14hp) Good luck :)

Blackcherry-Mods Read-Hacker
Those tools may not work, as this keylogger may be a brand new one so that antivirus companies may not be able to release the newest definition, that render the database obsolete when attempting to detect this "green" password stealer The best way is GOING TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITES to download the CLEAN versions of them. This can guarantee yourself invulnerable to those noobs. Hope this tip helps

[FORUM] shockwave2_0_1.exe
Seems that hackers are constantly monitoring this forum A safe tip: This update concerns a Shockwave plugin of a browser with a hidden keylogger, similar to soldiers camouflaged and hidden within the Trojan Horse . So, next time, when you need a update of a software, GO TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITES to download the CLEAN versions of them  . Don't download them directly from the giving link as it may be a modified version. Make sure than woeful hackers DON'T PAY That pathetic guy should be banned. :shame:

stop autoers once and for all: mass reporting
Nice guide But I don't think macroer hunting is a great idea, as Jagex told us not to hunt them, for the fear that some innocent guys get banned. (shown in somewhere months ago, so I'm afraid that I can't give you the evidence) Good reporting FTW

The Best Fishing XP for F2P
Great guide I've used fly-fishing as a way to progress in level, but finds the trip between fishing spot and bank long. Now, by this method, experience will be flowing in! Great guide. Well thought out. 9/10 :D

H0w t0 tr41n c0mb4t.
By the way, I guess the account may be hacked or impersonated by someone else, i.e. the owner of Runescape account "taloopis" does NOT control the forum account "taloopis" See http://hiscore.runescape.com/hiscorepersonal.ws?user1=taloopis for his status. Just a wild guess only, so don't blame me if I'm wrong. taloopis, as what I've checked in the highscore, is an advanced player. I don't believe such an experienced player would write some meaningless words like this.

Now, listen, I don't wanna break your heart. I know that you're a new player, and feels that this maybe something new. However, that the four buttons denotes the four attack style, i.e, representing the experience that you will gain after inflicting damage, is known by everybody. So, next time, when you write a guide, find a topic that is original, as they are what everyone is expected to see Furthermore, your grammar, and spelling is quite confusing. Spelling like "p00r sp311ing" should be avoided. You may feels that fusing numbers and letters is cool, but in fact, it makes your target audiences hard to understand. Minimize the use short forms as well. Remember to proofread - nobody gonna what you mean if your grammar is in a mess. At last, add some pictures I believe this guide would be deleted. Just don't feel sad, continue to play, and explore. Everyone's first guide needs improvements, and not perfect in nature. My first guide sucks as well. However, if you continue to play the game, you'll learn more, and it definitely aids you when creating your own guide. p.s. you may refer to the AOW (achieve of wisdom) to see the nice guides for your own reference p.s.s. 2/10 for your first guide. AT LEAST, you've learn the spirit of sharing.

Powerleveling Mining
iron or granite iron - explained by others granite - bring waterskins (5 will do), a pass, money, tons of runes to cast "humidify" spells so that you can stay there forever. take carpet to the Quarry where you can mine granites. Then start power mining p.s. that place was changed in the way that waterskins are vital to survival. GRAB them and bring them before you find yourself back in Lumbridge p.s.s. waterskins can be refilled using lunar magic "humidify" spell

Your Last Meal.
"A big mac sprayed with potassium cyanide please" The place where I live have abolished capital punishment long ago. Anyway, just a questionnaire I don't like being executed, yes, nobody hates to die in this place Firing squad? NONONONO - a bullet blasting your brain is never fun Hanging - I just hope I won't pull my head off Lethal injection - they uses poison as well (KCl + 2 medicines to stop heart beat and a pain reducing agent, if I'm right) but that poison is prone to failure, causing AGONIZING DEATH Electrocuting? well, if you want to try it, do it now! A static electrical discharge isn't funny and hurts, now consider being killed by currents flowing through your body The perfect one should be placing RDX blocks around your head, and detonate them. It is horrible, but painless, as your brain is destroyed once the charge sets off

New Update - What some have failed to see
This is a great update The newb's player will first become harder, as what others' suggest, due to increased items' price (BTW, how come a new player own SO much money in the way that he can purchase tons of stuff to train on? They are supposed to be self sufficient by gathering resources and selling them in order to acquire the cash needed. However, when they've finished the gathering, they are no longer newb, with high non-combat skills) Everyday, the macroers extracts tons of resources from game. Previously, there may be only a person cutting yew tree for an hour a day, bringing 200 yew logs to the game. However, now, thanks to those bots, the yew tree resource is constantly being extracted and fully utilized, bringing thousands of logs into game, despite the logs extracted may fall into different macroers' hand. That means, amount of resources in economy rises. These increased number of logs will ultimately turned to the form of money, for example, by high-alchemy of yew long bows. So, money in a economics increases, inflation happens, driving prices upward in long run. Without effective money sink, uh, inflation may get out of control, with price doubling within months and vaporizing the value of heaps of gold That's why I love this update. Without it, by construction alone (construction IS NOT very effective as the POH can be used by others), inflation may get out of control, making a newb (esp. F2P) life miserable. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mudflation <= inflation in MMORPG and ways to combat it

Why Jagex Why?
that's called demand and supply (i know the demand and supply has a different sense when it comes to economic) - if you have a bunch of Dutch speaking players, you tend to favour them by doing this The competition is huge. Without this kind of stuff, they probably lose customers

New Shops encourage using your own harvest?
Most probably I found out that the requirements for most updates in these two or three months requires some of the skills in order to acquire the minimum requirements of it For example, GWD requires agility levels (part of it) Dragon shield, if I'm right, need a high defence to wield The shop update, undoubtedly, encourages players to craft their runes, and be self-supporting in other ways. The dramatic rise in price in runes, especially the elemental ones (although they can be replaced by a staff, a rune is necessary in most cases IF you attempt to use a attack spells, which most likely, needs air runes to cast) BTW, I love this update. At least, the air rune price (i'm currently crafting 'em) slightly rises from 14gp to 15 or 16gp ea, which is a good news for me. (I can use a runner if the airs are 16ea, as I can recover the cost by this way)

"Another" Economic Report
I took econ for my public exam (HKCEE) as well, oh wait, who cares? It's right for you to attempt to use the concepts to explain matters, but they are not always accurate, I'm afraid As said, there is NO accounting system in Runescape, meaning that price response may be lagging behind the change in supply & demand Yet, i believe this is a reason-based guess, and may be accurate if we hold other factors constant. I'm afraid that the price may change again once there is new items coming out (I think there will be another update before the end of September, and another in early October). Substitutes may appear and your prediction may not be reflected in later changes But anyway, a nice, logic based deduction. Merchants should take it as a reference. (No guarantee, of course!)

How to own the rarest item in the game :)
In theory, this might work In Real life, this never works Why? (1) There are still many people owning Crackers, partially thanks for the duplicate loophole being abused ages ago. Some of them made a lot of crackers, and sold them before he got banned for abusing bugs, effectively increasing the number of crackers in the markets. (2) This costs a lot. Buying a cracker needs hundreds of nats crafting, so, by skills, it is IMPOSSIBLE to gather the $$ by skills. Staking? You may win, but you may lose as well, for example, due to a unforeseen tactic employed by your opponent (3) There are many people speculating on rares, and seeing the rising tide of crackers, they will hold their crackers instead of selling them. Price rises Once the price reaches a extremely high point (for example, 500b in item for a cracker), the speculators will get satisfied, and all of them will SELL their crackers to gain a massive profit, at a slightly lower price. You LOSE as a result (4) There will be some people who will unite, once your determination to alch crackers is clear, as shown as the videos. They will stop selling cracker to you, preventing you to obtain all the crackers in the market

People saving macroers..
About the legality of luring issue... I've seen other posts saying its illegal from elsewhere (forgot that, its something a month ago). So, just report it and go away. I know that getting 6Mil in rune is deadly attractive. But I'd rather be on a safer side. I know that I can make 6Mil in 24 hours if I were a member. So, why should I ruin all my time invested on my account on such a rulebreaker? (see my RC lvl, just enough to craft nats =D> ) Which one will you choose, 6Mil or hundreds of hours invested :?:
