That was taken a few weeks after my last haircut, I wanted it a bit shorter but oh well. Next one I'm considering something a lot shorter :D Don't know what though.

And: Saves me having to write it out. Where are those articles from? I need to check out the site if it's a site like A-S devoted to criticizing Twilight. I was going to go see it this weekend for [cabbage]s and giggles and then have an excuse to write a negative review for the book and the movie in my school paper, but it's sold out. SOLD OUT. Not even the HP movies sold out in the week before the premeires. I'm scared of the effects these books have on society. Guys, never try to date a girl who reads Twilight. You will never live up to their expectations. You will never be Edward. Thank God you won't, but it still sucks to be judged that way.

I never said it was on par with Lost, just that the tie-ins would not have been out of place on Lost. And they seem more like stuff the writers made up on the spot and found the best place to insert them - as a matter of fact, that is probably exactly what they did considering this is a whole new direction for the show that was not originally planned. Contrary to popular belief, the Lost connections are, for the most part, planned far in advance.

Are you saying it's a bad thing that one episode had Lost-style elements? Or that it's ludicrous to suggest that it did? I'm confused.

I think the problem with the purple notes is when they come up individually and with large gaps in between, i.e. Do It Again and stuff like the Ramblin' Man outro. They probably have the same timing window as [garden tool]/pos but are harder to hit because you don't find [garden tool]/pos that far out of sequence with each other. At least that's what messes me up a lot.

Pretty sure the "good for MS Paint" comments come from lack of understanding of what a pixel sig actually is.

Angular notes just don't feel natural to me, period. And the timing windo for GH [garden tool]/pos is now close or identical to RB's and the older GHs'. Sure you can still hit the regular notes a bit off beat, but honestly how much difference does it make unless you're one of the ubers going for squeezes 'n stuff. And the peripherals are awful, I can't keep a beat with no clicking whatsoever from the strum bar and the regular frets are too big while the solo ones are too small and pointless besides. Although the WT guitar has that stupid touch strip, which I've turned off cuz it got so damn annoying overstrumming me all the time, it's still way better IMO. No you didn't. Failed because of the aforementioned [garden tool]/pos, remember? On a related note, I'm getting tired of the internet egotism surrounding these games. That also goes for the stupid fanboyism.

The song creation sucks in Guitar hero. No, making songs really is amazing. It's all I've been doing for the past few days. The instruments sound too synthesized and you can't have vocals (which might be a blessing in disguise), but otherwise it's so much fun. I'm working on a song right now that will (hopefully) blow away everything I've seen from others so far, except for the Banjo Kazooie Theme, which was just epic. Until it got taken off GHtunes for copyright lol. I prefer GH overall. Still can't stand the [bleep]ing square notes in RB and the instruments are still really terrible IMO. The song list does beat WT's, and the DLC blows it out of the water, but I prefer fewer good and challenging charts to a crapload of stuff that I can sightread FC. I passed Visions on my first try with no sound ffs.

The teaser for next week said it explicitly. "An eclipse gave them their powers, now another one will take them away" or something to that effect. And it showed a bunch of people going "WTF my powers are gone noes", including Claire getting shot and not healing. Of course it could all be a misleading promotional.

If you can't download songs in a pack then buy the individual ones? Unless it's like the Hendrix pack and you can't. But how can it be that "Hendrix wanted them sold in a pack." He's dead? Meh, I have no wireless internet except for an AT&T card so I can't do DLC anyway, but I agree that it's bull that publishers refuse to make good of Wi-Fi. It doesn't have to be this crappy for God's sake.

I made the most badass song ever in the music studio. That's the first time I've used it at all, and man it is awesome. The GHtunes editor is a bit shoddy and has a bad interface, but the recording studio is where it's at. The only problem is getting the timing right for fast notes, I've discovered that my fingers don't work perfectly in that regard. It's a wonder I hit [garden tool]/pos at all :lol: And then it's a hassle to fix it up in GHtunes because you can't tell [garden tool]/pos from regular notes, and several other things I've found but can't remember are just plain aggravating. The best thing to do is just go back in the studio and record over the parts you want to fix up until you get it right.

Really good episode for the most part, but it seemed too short. Probably an effect of the new trend of commercials every five minutes. The good or just plain awesome: Sylar. Best character on the show right now, and the whole situation of him learning empathy through Elle was just great. Elle is one of the best characters too, since she hasn't had too much time in the spotlight to spoil her character. Matt. He DID SOMETHING. And something badass. Everyone is back together again. THANK YOU GOD. Not only can we stop hearing annoying complaints that the plot is too stretched (which aren't without merit but just make me question the average viewer's mental capacity) but, well, there aren't eight different subplots lol. The meh: Mohinder. He did nothing. Cut his scenes and give us more of the good stuff, please. Hiro. He's a different kind of annoying now. Was that whole situation even necessary in the slightest? The WTF: The eclipse. THE most confusing thing this show has come up with, period. How did Adam survive all of his 400-odd years if every occurence of an eclipse takes away/gives powers? I'll give the writers credit for the eclipse right after Hiro arrives in feudal Japan, but seriously. And why does the previous generation still have all their powers when the eclipse that gave their kids powers should have taken them. Ugh.

The problem is, many times on Heroes it is a plot device. That's the show's biggest problem in my eyes, the plot rules all, which is the most greivous error any writer can make. Which is why I liked the flashback episode.

There are sooo many good songs on OTD. Can't Stop is on it, dammit. So is Dani California as a bonus song. But a lot of them are also on WT, so maybe the ones that aren't will show up as DLC.

When I went to Best Buy to get my bro his birthday present, I played a bit of RB2. I tried Visions and passed it on my first try with 72%. I almost failed because the sound was permanently off so I had no sense of rhythm at all >_> Rock Band still loses to GH in terms of difficulty. At least I failed a few times on Satch Boogie.

BYOB 5-starred. Sitting down helped me keep a steady rhythm strumming, I don't know why. Only seven songs left to five-star. Four of them are in the second last set, one is Satch Boogie (duh) and the other two are outliers. Went for a few more FCs, but my camera died pretty quickly so I stopped since I want more vids.

Yeah sephiroth you have to have a wiimote by itself (NOT in another instrument) on and be navigating with it. I had the same problem, it took me a while to figure it out I'm sad to say.

Over the last few weeks I've managed to fail two math tests in a row, send one of my hearing aids through the wash, scare myself into thinking that I lost my credit card and with it my parents' trust, fallen wayyyy behind on an art project, and nearly crashed driving to and from school at least five times. I feel awesome, because I get over the sucky stuff in life FAST. It doesn't do to dwell on it.

That is the most awful prompt ever. First of all, it's not one sentence, it's a sentence and a fragment. Second, it's a cliche to end all cliches. Not your fault at all, that's just ludicrously bad. Reminds me of the crap articles they have on the PSAT/SAT. The ones that are supposed to be uber but really suck. In the last one I had there was a sentence that was 14 lines long. FOURTEEN. Christ, to think this test is supposed to be representative of the American standard of education for college admission . . . Random tangent over.
