Haven't a clue. Any suggestions on what songs to practice tapping on? Not TTFATF, I tried and did horribly. Good man, good man. I'd be the only one to actually pass it if my social studies teacher did that. :D Anyways, I found one person(that I know in person) who says he's as good as I am on Guitar Hero. Unless he's bluffing or something.

It's scary that this sort of thing isn't just a unique occurrence. There's definitely a problem that needs fixed. Yes, especially when a lot of these things happened AFTER the Virginia Tech incident. Hm, well, I decided to count how many shootings have happened per decade from the 1900's to the 2000's. (counted from Wikipedia under Secondary School Incidents 40's - 1 50's - 1 60's - 1 70's - 4 80's - 7 90's - 31 00's - 59 After Virginia Tech - 22 Keep in mind this is Middle/High School incidents, not College, so this might not be the best thing to base off of.

Boring day. Mostly my friends kept telling me I am a freak on Guitar Hero, and I discovered my school's jazz bassist is actually as competent as I am on Guitar Hero, if he wasn't lying. Though, I don't think I'm a freak until I beat Through the Fire and the Flames. :cry:

I bet if I ever went on a killing spree(though, I would never. Don't have the heart to), they'd blame the fact I played RuneScape regularly 4 MONTHS AGO. Or maybe, they'd blame the fact I listen to metal. The media will do anything to blame things, won't they? :wall:

So, I played Guitar Hero III for the first time in a few months today. Did some crud I wasn't able to do before. xD 4 Star The Way It Ends 5 Star Number of the Beast 4 Star Cliffs of Dover Finally beat Take This Life That means I'm only unable to play 2 songs on GHIII. TTFATF and Raining Blood... I tried practicing tapping(looked it up on Google, suggested to practice by doing "My Name Is Jonas") and I can't tap at all. ._.

At least you don't have to wear uniforms. My first year of middle school = first year that school started uniforms... High School = This year, they added uniforms. :wall: So, I've been wearing uniforms since Kindergarden.

"Eyeless" by Slipknot. I've been trying to find new bands to listen to, any suggestions? I'm into metalcore, nu metal, hard rock, heavy metal, rapcore... that kind of stuff. So, as said before, any suggestions?

damn! forgot how epic the guitarists are in the fall of troy. Lead Guitar + Lead Vocals = ew, live show failure. He's not great live, but I admit, the Fall of Troy's studio music is good.

I really recommend learning to tap. It really isn't that hard if you start to learn once your good, and it has so many benefits. How the hell do you strum whilst doing it? :wall: Never figured it out. You don't need to strum unless you miss, and then you can just elbow strum. Although if I miss in the intro I just restart :o Ah, well, I think I'm gonna practice tapping tomorrow or something. Been wanting to try to beat Through the Fire and the Flames. Haven't tried in like 3 months, though. It'd be especially fun if I video taped myself playing it, show to my friends. They'll freak out, call me a god, then they'll be inspired and try to do it themselves. The cycle happened when I beat One, when I started playing bass, etc.

What commercial is that? :? I did that DARE thing in 5th Grade. Didn't do much, to be honest. Didn't tell me anything else I already knew. Though, I hate how they say crap like, "Remember, during High School, you're going to be asked to do drugs ALL THE TIME." :wall: I'm not in High School, but I seriously doubt that. But yeah, that seems kinda foolish, cutting gov. school funds. Hm, recently here, they promised teachers raises, but they never gave them any raises. And they also cut the school's budget as well. :roll: EDiT:: Fixed some typos. Drug use from middle school to high school where I live probably increases 10-20 fold. But no, you don't get offered "all the time." No one actually wants to share their hard earned weed. :roll: :lol: Cutting DARE is stupid, but if it's replaced with a similar/better program than it's ok. I kinda didn't read the articles so... :oops: Yeah, who would give away their expensive weed just to get some other idiot addicted, when they don't benefit at all? :lol: If it is replaced, I really do hope it's better than DARE.

I did Red Salamanders 'til 80, but it's just preference. Chins were too slow in my opinion at 63. But, of course, if you'd like, just skip straight to chins at 63.

Damn, I wish my school did Guitar Hero tournaments. :wall: I'm like the best person people know for Guitar Hero(within people I know in person). It just depends on what you're good at. My highest score I ever got on a GHIII song was on "Cherub Rock". If I needed something for "WTFOMG" factor, I'd do "Stricken" or "Before I Forget"... my friend freaked out when I did the bridge perfectly on "Before I Forget". \ "Stricken", I just get like 400,000+ playing Hyperspeed 5 on Expert. But all in all, it's just your preference of what you do best in. Anyways, beat every song on Guitar Hero World Tour today. \ BYOB seemed easier than when I last played it. :-k

Still, sticking up for yourself can have downsides. It can result in a fight, which, in turn can get you suspended yourself, if it's a word-against-word accusation. Kid A says Kid B bullied him, Kid B denies it. No proof that Kid B ever bullied Kid A. So it's word-against-word, in that case. :? Although, it can work. Most of the time I just say something witty that the bully doesn't understand, people go "wtf" and walk away. Or laugh.

Not much happened. Finished FCAT, and I was surprised it was so easy... especially some of the math questions. It really makes me happy that I don't take normal classes. :) Mostly just hanged out with a few people, screwed up my iPod, and some other stuff.

I meant something should be done to prevent kids from even wanting to do this in the first place. In situations like these, usually more than just the kid is to blame. It could just as easily come down to the peers if they were bullying him, or the teachers and parents if they weren't taking proper action. We need a change here. I think most of our modern anti-bullying "techniques" are somewhat counterproductive. If you tell an adult, you'll just get picked on for being a tattletale. Well, on the subject of tattling, it's just a lose-lose. You don't tattle, you get bullied more. You do tattle, the bully gets a short suspension or something, then continues to pick on you more for tattling. Not much you can do.
