1st one could be so much better if the whole tag was bigger, and the render was bigger, perhaps change the placement tool.

if you don't have time, rate/hate can be the answer, though it isn't necessarily an accurate representation of your opinion.

2nd Tag Good points - good composition render placement - you are good at this :thumbup: weak points - colours seem washed out watery effect looks odd soft brushing to the left of Samus's head looks very weird where it is, not to mention a dull colour too. so really, make your tags MORE VIBRANT good work, keep it up :thumbup:

I wouldn't stop smudging, it is a fundamental part of your work - stop smudging, and you'll just be spamming C4D's, not using your own resourcefulness to make stuff.

Try Round Smudge Brushes I don't use them, but I've seen good tags with those settings.

Good luck getting someone to do something in the style of that HOT LP, it's very hard to do that sort of stuff.
