  1. I was level 1 when I started my Summoning guide. Also, try adding some sort of xp-rate, even just a general idea. You don't want a guide thats a mile long and an inch deep. Yea, xp per hour rates are in the making. Just need some time to get them all sorted out.
  2. The prices haven't increased, until now, for years. Not sure about the dollar, but over here 30p is hardly anything, and I'm pretty sure $1 won't affect your budget that much.
  3. It doesn't work that well anymore since Jagex changed it a while back to only do 1hp damage every 5 seconds or so, instead of every second.
  4. Thank you : I don't have much on 63+ because I'm only 69 hunter myself, and so that section is just to get started on red chinchompas and such. And thanks for offering getting xp per hour numbers, I would be grateful if you could get some numbers on one or two of the training methods mentioned in the guide.
  5. Sorry, put that in the wrong chinchompa section. Fixed
  6. 1. Yea, I know. The stuff I know about is the getting to 63 hunter, which is mainly what this guide focusses on. The 63 - 99 bit is just a quick rundown on where and how to hunt red chins, incase someone has just got 63 and doesn't know where to begin. It's not a "get to 99 quick" guide or anything like that, which would look stupid if someone didn't have 99 hunter. 2. Sure, I'll add a full section on the hunter gear later. 3. Forgot about that, will add, thanks.

    Living Noob.

I get that a lot, just do what I do and say "That's what it's for".
  8. Please see this guide instead
  9. Great to hear you got 63 hunter, and thanks for the comments :D V3 is almost ready, although it has a new name, so isn't called V3. If anyone has any xp per hour they would be willing to share with me, that would be great. It'll save me some time. New Guide Released. To view it, click here.
  10. Hahaha, yeh do that :) OFF TOPIC: Why do people say "barrow" isn't it borrow? Did you know it's spelled "armor" not armour and "defense" not defence, or that it's spelled "Ancient Magics", not Ancient magicks. Jagex spells things wrong, and people copy that. They actually are correct, theyre spelled differently in different countries... :| Yeh, I spell armour with a U, cos I'm from Australia =\ Yea, they are also UK English spellings, so they use words like "armour", "colour", "defence" etc, as a posed to the US English variants. OT: Yes, 5k-10k an hour is fair. It depends on their QP really, if it is more than 10k, charge 10k, otherwise, charge 5k.
  11. 50 mining is required, but I think when I did it I used a dwarven stout.
  12. Thank you :D I am working on a V3 of the guide, which includes all the updates stated, including xp per hour and beyond 63 hunter. Watch this space
  13. Yes, 1k is way off. Realistically, you are looking at roughly 250-550 an hour. Not 100% accurate, but a rough idea.
  14. I have a demon champion scroll since about level 70, seriously, it is just complete luck. I don't see the point anyways, just a bit of slayer xp, that's all.
  15. 43 - 52 = Brimhaven Course with tickets 52 - 56 = Wilderness Course
  16. Take a look through the news that interests you, 3 months ago would be June, so anything from this page and page 2 and 1 should be applicable: http://news.runescape.com/list.ws?cat=0 ... ction=next
  17. Wow, spamfest :wall: Thanks to all the people who answered my question. And as Kietaro1 said, I'm not interested in mining for profit, just to powermine. All I wanted to know if it was worth keeping some of the chunks. I think I'll keep some of the 5kg pieces while powermining, they might sell at a later date, and might be useful if I ever get to the higher summoning levels. To all that were arguing that it doesn't sell, I don't want to sell it. I don't want to make money off it, so that is not a problem. Could a mod please close this before it creates more spam.
  18. I haven't mined properly for a very long time, probably 1 year ago was the last time I power mined. Granite was the best xp, and had no use whatsoever, so you simply dropped it. Now that summoning is out, granite has a use. I don't summon much, and don't mine much, so how would I go about mining granite now? Is there any point in keeping the granite, and if so, which weights? Thanks
  19. Agreed. Pretty good profit, great training food, and the second (or third if you count Barbarian Fishing, just) best fishing xp. Also much more interesting than fly fishing, and I find them faster than lobsters for me.
  20. Hey, Just got hellhounds for slayer, and as much as I hate them, need the points. Should I melee them (whip) or range them (rune c'bow + broad bolts)?
  21. Actually, Runescape skill leveling is far, FAR different from beating Halo 3 on Legendary. A skilled player can beat legendary in a few hours. A skilled Scaper can get a 99 in, at least, a few days. And that's with cooking or fletching, with all materials bought, and no lifing. I know, I was only using that as an example :P As I said, there are a big difference in the games, and RuneScape will take much much longer, but it's the same idea that every game is a waste of time, but a fun waste of time.
  22. Sure, RS is a waste of time, but isn't every game? Getting say 99 slayer in RS isn't any different than completing Halo 3 on legendary mode, for example. Sure, while some people will say Halo is more fun, some may say RuneScape is more fun. And while obviously there is a big difference in the games, it still has the same base of repeat something. RuneScape you kill all the monsters again and again, and halo you finish the levels by killing all the monsters again and again. Every game is like it, and every game is a waste of time, yet they are still enjoyable.
