This topic is funny :lol: This was on page one, but still relevant, I find this offensive tbh: So, because some of us didn't play RuneScape Classic, we are less important than you? I play the game, I enjoy it. I didn't like the December updates much, no, but I've adapted to them. I've done quests voluntarily for the first time ever, and I really enjoy them. While RS Classic is similar, and RS 2 was based on that game, it is NOT the same game. The reason you get 20kxp per hour in classic and 100kxp per hour in RS2 is because the experience system is different and there are better monsters. What's that? Better monsters? Better XP per hour? Different game? So now that the wilderness is gone, everything gets thrown at us? And the wilderness isn't dangerous anymore? Neared of Reverants? Scary eh? How dare you say that you are more important, more clever and better than people who joined later than you. Infact, we are better. We can accept change. It was hard, but now we have accepted it. Maybe you should do the same, and also stop calling us RS2 Products.# Wow, that's the longest post I've ever done. Someone give me a cookie :thumbsup:

I partially agree. By no means are all older player jerks, sure, some may be, but I bet you there are more new player jerks. If it wasn't for them, there would be no RuneScape today. But nonetheless, It really gets on my nerves when you are in a rant about something and someone uses "Shutup, I've been playing since RS Classic. You know nothing." as an excuse. Not many do it, but some do. Remember, if it wasn't for the old players RuneScape wouldn't be here today, but if it wasn't for the new players RuneScape wouldn't be like it is today. Sure, some bad things would be gone, but some really good things would be gone, too. P.S. Just think, in two years time you can use "Shutup, when I joined I used tutorial island, not some dragon tutorial thing. Actually its you that doesn't know the meaning of the word noob. Noob is an insult and rought translated means stupid/idiot/annoying etc. etc. Someone who is new to RS is a NEWB WRONG. Epic Phail, my friend I don't see how that's wrong. Noob: Annoying player. Commonly assosiated with scammers, beggars etc. Can be any level. Newb: New player, not familiar with how RuneScape works. Noob can mean new player, but it's more commonly associated with an annoying player meaning.

Wow, surely if YouTube is advertising the word should be blocked? Jagex have their own YouTube channel, and their frontpage even has a link to their HD video on YouTube. If you said something like "www.youtube.com" fair enough, but surely if you can't say YouTube you can't say BBC or Amazon because its advertising. :?

HD for me. Doesn't work very well on this laptop, but my main computer is pretty good and can run all of the options on fullscreen without lagging much (except in the GE, oh boy :wall:)

Hey, Anyone installed the MSN Plus program (http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/msgpluslive.net. That test was automated and installed the optional ad-ware program that is inside the install which is unsafe, so it's not a 100% "fair" test. Anyone know?

While the tutoors and everything else may seem stupid now, I bet we would have appreciated them when we took our first steps into the RS world. [*:xwi7v9nh]Bad Updates - Sure, the wilderness and trade changes were horrible, but necessary. Jagex make updates which some people might think are ridiculous, while others think they are brilliant. They can't cater for everyone. The problem is that we seem to be criticising Jagex for every lower-leveled update they do. We all do it, anything that we wouldn't use we count as a bad update. [*:xwi7v9nh]More "kids" - I agree that is seems that there are more l33t speaking immature brats around, but it's just because we have gone more mature. When I started a few years ago, I did speak like "omg wer is varrok i cnt find it!!111", but because we no longer speak like that, anyone who does seems immature and stands out.
