Did you know it's spelled "armor" not armour and "defense" not defence, or that it's spelled "Ancient Magics", not Ancient magicks. Jagex spells things wrong, and people copy that.

But in this case, Barrows is referring to... Barrows items. Kid's really don't know how to spell, so they just infer they are spelled the same. In my case, it's probably just because I'm used to saying Barrows. 3 years of runescape does that to you, lol.

Yea, they are also UK English spellings, so they use words like "armour", "colour", "defence" etc, as a posed to the US English variants.

OT: Yes, 5k-10k an hour is fair. It depends on their QP really, if it is more than 10k, charge 10k, otherwise, charge 5k.

I let people borrow mine for free if I'm using SS and vice-versa.

Then one day if I need to borrow something I would hope I wouldn't get charged either.

Trust the Gene Genie!

Usually 5-10k an hour. I've heard of people with low limits and without junk add the other person to lend 1 hr, 1 hr, 1 hr, etc.

United states is the only country to spell armour "armor" and colour "color" I believe.

On topic. dont waste your time lending a whip, in the time it takes u to find someone, you could have made like 30-50k lol plus exp.

Only lend things like godswords or maybe rares if people want those

Try Ferion, it only takes a few minutes per day; you can play it while mining.

if i were u i would just do 5k. if u lend it 24 times u made 120k out of nothing.

*sigh at americans trying to change the English language so much*

Armour is indeed English, just like defence is English for american defense? Though I'm always wondering where magicks came from - anyone knows?

Anyways back on topic: whips don't really loan for money: it's not that hard to get a whip yourself! So 5K seems like the max really..

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

I just had to laugh at the topic title.

Magick has the added 'k' because occultist and writer Aleister Crowley wanted to differentiate it from stage magic, and the term was popularised in the 20th century.

OT : 8-12K sounds reasonable.

Lol

The English really need to learn how to speak English properly ? correctly ?

Hilarious, I always find it shocking that people are so completely ignorant of who they are and where they come from that they could convince themselves that English orignates from the USA and not from England XD

Polnar.png

I guess next we will have people from Canada telling the french how to talk properly.

Haha, brilliant :D

English comes from, you guessed it, England. Then people came from different countries to the US and the language alltered slightly. A bit like how Spanish is spoken with a lisp Spain, yet it isn't in South America.
