  1. Did you even play other mmorpgs? Deaths do mean something. Usually, when you die you lose exp. When you are a high level, dieing once often means losing hours of exp. I'd like to know what MMO you're playing. :-k
  2. If you're not lying, you better be on 24/7 collecting clues! 5% chance clue scroll? Unlikely, but possible. GO COLLECT THEM IF YOU'RE NOT LYING!!!

Maple Shortbow, Iron Arrows, Edgeville Guards. Or try SoS for other viable options.
  4. Why not bring 2 Crystal Bows and full Guthan's? That is the traditional way and it is that way for a reason.
  5. Yeah, then let's keep going until the max hit is 99. So whoever gets the first hit is teh winner, and RuneScape would be pointless. People, think about it. Magic is a farcasting class. A Mage isn't supposed to cast Ice Barrage when standing next to a 99-Strength beast that is DDS-specing. Ice spells were made to stay away from dangerous melee opponents and own them. Sure, Magic is extremely underpowered in terms of hand-to-hand combat, considering their Defense bonuses are nearly non-existant. But are Mages really supposed to fight this way???
  6. Yesh, maybe level 2000s that REALLY NEED A TEAM EFFORT IN RUNESCAPE that hasn't ever been in the game other than Castle Wars. /agree
  7. Godsword train strength :-k Or didn't you notice the gs? I think this thread is directed toward the MAJORITY of people who play RuneScape, not the MINORITY of people who have billions of gp. It has been tested, it has been proven, and it has been seen. Dragon Scimitar beats Dragon Longsword in terms of Strength training. If the Dragon Scimitar hits 5 times whilst the Dragon Longsword hits 4 times, this is what happens: You get five hits with 66 Strength and Slash bonus OR You get four hits with 71 Strength and Attack bonus. Isn't it obvious???
  8. Archer Helm Red D-hide Body Red D-hide Chaps Red D-hide Vams Amulet of Glory Rune Crossbow Adamant Bolts (Diamond (e) Bolts will help greatly) Antidragon Shield Snakeskin Boots Ring of Wealth OR Life (I don't like Wealth) Ava's Accumulator Bring a Dusty Key and Range them in the Taverley Dungeon. This sometimes gets annoying because of the aggressiveness of the Baby Blue Dragons. They attack you so you can no longer attack the Dragon you were fighting. I believe they stop being aggressive after a while, but if you can't handle it, try the Heroes' Guild basement.
  9. Same, it works nicely. +2
  10. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=magic ... m#enchants Both own, really. Ruby can hit up to 50 on Jad, while Diamond can soften them up. Take both, in my opinion.
  11. I wasn't spamming, I was XD-ing at the lies. :ohnoes: Anyway, screw the friggin ring and at least try the Iron Dragons. Ring of Stone > ALL :anxious:
  12. Dragon Scimitar with Dragon Dagger specials DEFINITELY beats Dragon Longsword with its own specials. :D
  13. Thanks, but I think he understands English. What I also said is that it is STUPID and POINTLESS unless you are becoming a mage staker/pk-er of some sort. Just because you see "melee-based" on combat calculators doesn't mean you can't do or aren't good at MAGIC...
  14. +1 Blood runes there are amazing.
  15. The problem with the Combat system is that Magic and Ranged have a much lower affect on your combat than Melee. Also, why the hell would you want it to be Magic-based when your actual combat level isn't affected?!?! You need 90 Magic to become Magic-based. I say don't do it, because it's utterly pointless, utterly expensive, and utterly STUPID.
  16. You can train defense with Guthans. Just not Attack or Strength. Currently I am training strength, but if I get a task I need to Guthans 100% (Kalphites atm as I cannot justify cannon costs and am too lazy to collect unicorn horns for anti-pots) I just train my defense up. You don't get it. I DON'T WANT DEFENSE EXPERIENCE. My initial thought was that Guthan's Warspear had Accurate and Aggressive, which is why I thought it would suit me well. I found out that it only has the Controlled attack style, forcing me to raise Defense when I need to heal. My character's plan was to be a Barrows pk-er with 75 Defense. So, that's why I didn't want defense experience. Now, I'll probably buy it. I'll follow my original setup until the healing with Guthan's on Controlled gets me enough defense experience to 75. Since I want exactly 75 Defense, I'll stop using full Guthan's at that point and sell it. Then, I will continue to do Slayer with either food or the spell Bones to Peaches, because, again, I do not want the Defense experience from Guthan's. Any other help would be excellent.
  17. Short guide, but cuts to the chase. 10/10 Cash/hr please?
  18. BUMP help please.
  19. New Plan: Use Guthan's while Slaying on Controlled (ugh) until I reach 75 Defense from 70. Then sell my Guthan's. Then either Slay with food or Bones to Peaches until 93 Attack and Strength. IS THIS PLAN OK? NO HIGHER THAN 75 DEFENSE!
  20. Is there any way to powertrain Slayer without training Defense? I want to keep mine at 75. I'm really pssd off because I just found out that Spears only have Controlled. Goddam Mod Edit: Vulgar language removed. Q.V. Tip It Mod spears, Jagex you stinkeh.
  21. OK, then forget Guthan's. Goddam Defense experience... Jagex is TEH N00B. Bones to Peaches? Sharks? What should I do?!?!?! I want: 93 Attack, 93 Strength, 75 Defense Not higher defense, FFS
  22. What's up, Wizzer345!!! It's me, King Tut 777, on your friends list. We were PK-ing together in Edgeville before! Sweet kills, I got the same stuff from kills, too. Don't you fight Smite on?

What does WC have to do with 40-50m? It'll take you 3-4 months of solid focused woodcutting to get to 99.
