WOW. This was really below my expectations. Very bad experience, unprofitable drops, hit hard. They are seriously only good for training Ranged. 45k exp an hour compared to the 58k exp an hour I get with Cyclopes. That was a big waste of my life. Best drop: Rune Scimitar. Off to Ape Atoll.

You're kinda in the same situation as me. Kinda. I'm gonna get 60 Magic by casting Crumble Undead. Then I'll do Family Crest for Chaos Gauntlets (a MUST if you will cast any bolts). Then I'll fire bolt drags/demons/whatevers until 70. I would cast fire bolts until 82, but that would be way too long, so I'll alch to 82. But from 60 to 70, it's not that big of a journey, so I suggest Fire Bolting with Chaos Gauntlets. You'll get nice drops and a decent amount of HP experience. Good Luck! :mrgreen:

Yes, knives give 1 more ranged attack bonus if we're talking about iron. But, I'm going to mine and smith iron bars to make into darts for two reasons: 1. I will get 20k darts instead of 10k knives. 2. It will bring my Fletching from 39 to 51. All in all, if you're going to make them yourself, and want some experience in Fletching and also want double the amount of knives, make darts. If you're rich and want to raise Ranged, buy the knives.
