Whould you give up your right to vote for an Ipod?
dwarfdude3 replied to cryztalwing's topic in Off-Topic
Depends on if its forever or just one election. If its just one election, then I'd go as low as an iPod for my voting right, but I don't think anything would make me give it up forever. -
When we seek vengeance on others we stoop down to the same level as those who wronged us in the first place, and thus not solving any problems.

The thing about Gore is, though, that most of what he did was in 2006 and before. Sure, Man of the Year 2006 would've been good, but this year... ya he hasn't done that much this year....except winning the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. just sayin.

wow the guitar hero episode was great!

I'd go for a wii. I mean Halo 3 is just one game, and the wii is the way of the future.

one time while I was lying on the sofa for a long time, I got really dizzy all of the sudden, and it was really bad dizziness, like I thought I might throw up. It was late at night so I just stumbled to my bed and went to sleep. the next day, I looked it up on wikipedia and the internet. Basically I found that dizziness is usually caused by fluids in your ears, and there are like little rocks in your ears that keep you in equilibrium, and when the rocks can come lose and cause dizziness. You probably have a loose rock in your ear somewhere, and standing up triggers it. (sorry I'm not using technical terms, this probably sounds really stupid, but you can look it up for yourself). To fix this, there is some 'therapy' you can do, which I tried and it worked pretty well. I'll try to find it again, but basically it was something like I would sit on my bed for like 5-10minutes (don't remember the exact time), then I would lay down in one direction for like 5-10 minutes, then sit back up for 5-10minutes, and then lay down in the other direction for some time. Do this a few times (I think like 3), and that should help. at least it worked for me. Still, I'll try to find sources and stuff, this is all just from memory of like half a year ago.

I'm thinking so. It was tragic then, tragic now. A repost? Someone has posted this before? this is just a variation of the same posts about this kinda stuff. we get the point. School is unfair. get over it. besides in this particular case, I would be willing to bet that the administration is just using the public affection rule to get these girls because of their suspicions that they've been doing something else. I mean the story is only providing half the story, so we can't make any judgments yet.

well you got this far...

Ron Paul raises over 3 million dollars in 24 hours
dwarfdude3 replied to dwarfdude3's topic in Off-Topic
that was mike gravel, he's a lot like Ron Paul in that he is all anti-executive branch and anti-war, but Paul is more of a libertarian. and Paul actually has a chance of winning. I bet Gravel will drop out within a few months. nope, he has a very good chance of winning. Its just that the media (controlled by the military industrial complex) is trying to hush all this up. Really though, he has won more straw polls than any other candidate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_poll ... on%2C_2008 this is for real, but you won't see it on your television. That is why this is truly a revolution. here is Paul's official view on homeschooling: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/home-schooling/ I don't think he is going to enforce that everyone be homeschooled, but rather he is trying to encourage homeschooling and keep the government out of the affairs of those who choose to be homeschooled. So that way they don't have to adhere to the same standards as the public school system. This makes since too because I mean the reason one would be homeschooled would be because of dissatisfaction with the school system, so why should they still have to follow the government's rules for the school system? -
Ron Paul, a seemingly longshot candidate for the republican (but more libertarian) nomination, has raised over 3 million dollars in less than 24 hours, setting a new record. He is currently in 4th place for fundraising, behind Rudy, Romney, and Thompson. Watch it pile up at: http://www.ronpaul2008.com for more info about Ron Paul I would recommend this video as a starting place:

1. depends on the circumstance 2. true love duh.

facebook, basically just cause most people I know are on there, not myspace. And I'm kinda glad of it cause I don't really like the myspace style anyway, but it might be good for bands and stuff.

anything by 50 cent.

uh its science class, so you watch a documentary on a scientific issue. I don't see the problem.

just tried alcohol all the way. I basically just got really sleepy and almost fell asleep during it. then when it was over I was like right back to normal. It was sorta like a nap. I dunno though sometimes I'd feel some really minor tingliness or numbness in my jaw or arm depending on the position i was in.

Holes is a literary classic? I read the crucible, its pretty good, 8/10. We're reading the Scarlet letter right now, and it is kinda sucky. last year: The Chosen: 6/10 Lord of the Flies: 10/10 (this book rules) Hiroshima: 3/10 Night: 5/10 A Separate Peace: 6/10 oh yeah, I had forgotten Animal Farm: 9/10 and freshman year: Miss Jane Pittman: 4/10 Things Fall Apart: 6/10 Life of Pi: 10/10 (another great book) To Kill a Mockingbird: 8/10

gravel2008.us/livedebate watch Mike Gravel, a democratic longshot in U.S. presidential debate who is now, after being unfairly excluded from today's democratic debate, is now holding his own 'debate' in which he will show the debate, and pause it and put in his input when he feels like it. It is really great. he was excluded because he failed to reach a fundrasing minimum. But this video shows the real reason:

And look where thy are NOW. >.> being awesome? :? Just cause they're taking a break doesn't mean they aren't a good band anymore...

I like it, and sure it could go with a metal song, who says you can't have intelligent lyrics in a heavy rock song? look at SOAD.... but still yeah I like it and you should just do what you want without without regards to 'style'. You could probably get something good out of this.
