  1. This week's poll asks: How did you first discover Tip.It? Through friends Via a Search Engine Directed from another website Other I can't remember! >>> Vote Now! <> View the Results <<< Still see the old poll? Press [CTRL+F5] or [Apple+R] to force a full reload of the page. Would you like to see your poll question on the main page? Submit one here!
  2. Thanks we have used this and credited you accordingly. :) ~Cowman
  3. I can tell you right now, it would take more than a few clicks to implement. Albosky coded back on PHPBB2, where MODs and snippets are available all over the place and for free, while MODs for IPB tend to cost and it is not open source. While I have no idea if he used a MOD or hand-coded what you'd asked for since you did not provide any context other than 'things', it was significantly easier to code for the forum due to the huge number of resources available and people experienced with the opensource board. I'm not saying our technical staff will not try to cater to needs of this community, but there is only so much they can accomplish and it is better to accomplish things that will benefit and meet the demands of a large proportion of the userbase. It is not like we are missing an ignore feature - it works and you just have to exercise a little self control if you don't want to read their post. Better than not having one at all, I'd say. No it isn't necessarily the best system for everybody, but this is the software's default. If it really bothers you this much, dsavi provided a workaround above you can try on firefox. Additionally, Paw Claw makes a good point about the logistic flow of a topic, if you don't know somebody posted and suddenly people are responding to them, it would get confusing very quickly.
  4. Hey there, In future submissions, please ensure that the original size of the image is kept, as quality is lost if we were to attempt to resize them larger. This may have been the fault of your image hosting provider. We have gotten our hands on these images through another submission at this time, however, so don't worry about providing a new image. Thanks for contributing. :) ~Cowman
  5. Cheers, these suggestions have been implemented. :) ~Cowman
  6. This is more or less a bug we are working on fixing. Hopefully we will resolve it soon. Thanks. ~Cowman
  7. Thanks, the image was added and you were credited. I did not add the Swept Away shots, however, because while they're in SD, they are still of good quality and they also display what is written in the guide. I don't want to change the method in case there are people currently using the guide to do the quest. Thanks for your submission once again. :) ~Cowman
  8. Since FireFox is available for Macintosh, I see no reason why our Microhelper would not work on it. If you're actually asking if it will become available for other browsers like Safari, then that is a different matter. I haven't looked into whether or not it is even possible, but even if it is there are currently no plans to branch out to 'Add-Ons' to other browsers at this time. I hope that answers your question. ~DK
  9. Thanks, this should be changed within the next few days. ~Cowman
