  1. Keep positive yourself too : Its good to hear a little bit of hope, good luck with your friend, a sad story it is
  2. Thank you very much! I'll upload this shortly. :) EDIT: Done, cheers
  3. Which page are you having this error on?
  4. Fixed, yeah we have had some problems with our GE system. If you have any more, I am more than happy to repair them for you. :)
  5. No, he doesn't have him there. I would not want to be told to right click. Truth be told, that would be extremely annoying. I would prefer it opens a new tab personally, but as long as I have a mouse with a scroll wheel I'm happy. If I didn't, I'd want this changed quite badly.
  6. I've copied this topic to the Main corrections forum, thanks for the idea.
  7. Just a note, this hasn't been forgotten, we are still voting :)
  8. None of these errors are still live on the website. Locked. EDIT: Sorry there was and I fixed them but totally forgot to post here saying I did. Sorry  Thanks for telling us Brain but in future can you post any spelling mistakes Post all of your Spelling / Grammar mistakes here thread and also post a link to where the mistakes are, that way they can be fixed quicker then just by giving a wideish search area. Again thanks ~Howlin~
  9. Please give it some time. Someone who knows something about the subject will edit it when possible, you can't expect it done within 4hours of the last post.
  10. I've closed this, for what pokemama has stated on your other threads and the fact that crew feels Correction thanks: is close enough. It gets the point across and it's not worth anyone's time going through 300 quest guides to unify them.
  11. It would need to be in your inventory. :) edit: or bank :P
  12. The I Need a Mod is not for asking for a mod. Fmods are not jagex mods and they don't handle account issues. What you did seems to be perfectly alright. :)
  13. It is upsetting you feel that way about the product of hours and hours of work done on the site by countless volunteers. Regardless, I will agree, certain quest guides need a bit of improvement. But this is where the problem lies. Most crew members have done a vast majority of the quests, some have quest skill capes. Therefore it is difficult to work on some of the older quests. Anyone can post that our guides are bad, but if you believe they are bad, we need assistance from people like you so we can better our quest guides. If you'd like to submit some suggestions on how to make the Tourist Trap guide better, please PM me or post in this forum. We can't make guides better without specific details on WHAT needs fixing. Thank you for understanding. ~Cowman
  14. If you have a correction for our Shops Database, post here. Be sure to include the name of the shop you have the correction for, and be as detailed as possible. Pictures are 130x130px circular .gifs with a transparent background, facing north. Proof pictures for stock items are always accepted. If you are submitting help for the shops database, please do it in this method. 1: Value the infinate stock prices. 2: Buy 1 of each of the infinate stock items. 3: Value the buy back of the stock items. 4: Take a picture of the whole thing, and post it. Here is an example. For larger shops, you may need to copy the message box multiple times if it fills up.
  15. That is a glitch from our older versions of the website being transferred to the new one we currently have now. I remember asking before, I don't think its possible without something breaking, else its way too much work since there's about 3-4 years of that. Secondly, most of the founders of this site did not have english as their first language. Back then, that kind of stuff is excusable. Not very many people browse news from that old, so I don't really think its a big deal. Its become part of site history. ;)
  16. Have you honestly ever seen someone say they are better than another because of their post count? Maybe two or three times? Truth is, that's a total non- issue and cannot be compared to this. Who would be the person deciding who gets in and who doesn't? Who gets kicked out and who doesn't? If it's the staff, either way the words elite and biased will be thrown around from people who are ejected or for people not added. If its the users, a bunch of idiots would probably get their way in. Bottom line: If it isn't broken, don't fix it. There is nothing wrong with the community structure presently and adding this will just split the forum into a few groups, which should be avoided. I agree, some are worthy of the position, but they should be happy enough contributing without the ability to make polls and lock their own post (which is really pointless..?). Spiffin' idea, but too many flaws. These views are my own and do not represent those of the Tip.It Staff nor the Tip.it Administrative Staff and should not be quoted as such.
  17. I hate unreasonable restrictions or liberties, they really are a community killer. I don't like joining a forum and not having features available to me. I just leave and never come back. Not the ambiance we want here. Then the golden argument, post count means absolutely nothing except how many times you've posted. How many times you've posted does not reflect your personality or motive of using the forums. I'd rather have 5 scam topics/posts than 25 spam posts and then 5 spam topics.
  18. Its possible, but is it worth the time of a tech admin? I come back to my point. Even if it was on for everyone, the people who type the way you dislike are not going to use it. It'll catch the typos from people who care about what they post. Sure, a few people would use it who don't have browser spellcheck, but it wouldn't help everybody and its just one more mod to slap on this over'MOD'ed forum, which makes it more time consuming to install new styles and whatnot.
  19. I don't really like the idea, it'd interfere with browser spellcheckers and frankly a spellchecker isn't going to stop people from using 'u' and 'dat'. The people who'd use it either already have superb spelling or use a spellchecker that is on their browser.
