I guess you could say my parents are rich, they own their own business (courier) and so earn a good amount, and I can sometimes get something if I need it (eg my old comp was broken, and I needed a faster one anyways, so mum bought me a new laptop, because I was to use it mainly for school work :-w too bad it has intergrated memory, because I want to upgrade the video card :wall: oh well, I'll end up needing a fast system anyways (want to do video editing when I leave school, plus I multitask like crazy, and will have my own network when I get my own place) yet I will still use the laptop, due to it's portability and will set it up as a Linux system (dual booting atm due to my games not being Linux compatible plus I don't wanna have to move them to another folder and try to use WINE)

Also one thing I don't understand, is how when something evolves it ends up causing it's offspring to have it's traits, at a high enough rate to cause all of the species to have it. Like (say for example) there is a country, lets call it Place. Now in Place everyone has blue eyes, except one person, who has brown eyes. Now according to evolution theories, everyone is Place could end up with brown eyes, yet my reasoning and logic tell me it can't!

I don't and never will, and also there are others than theists who don't believe in evolution, I have several friends who niether believe in a God, nor evolution. I have found it to be flawed in many ways, one example is this species of insect (can't seem to find it's name) shoots some firey substance (may be an acid substance) from its abdomen. The weird thing about this is not that it can do that, but if it fired it in a fully automatic way, it would kill the insect too, yet if shoots it in bursts, leaving itself unharmed. Now for this animal to have evolved it would have had to have developed this substance (highly unlikely), have the insides immune to the substance (even more unlikely) then learn how to aim it correctly (would take too long to calculate the possibilty of it happening) then, be able to shoot it in bursts so as not to kill themselves, they would have to learn before using it (calculate that possibilty, using your logic)

Very very fun I think about half the pics I took were from 1 game on it, it is awesome, almost on par with infection, and awesome with 8+ people who all teabag and do everything for the lols (basically I less than three it )

ya, it's connected now, but if I switched the modem off then on then it wouldn't be connected, and I would have to manually fix it up, which is annoying

I myself have an iriver e10 and I swear it was made for me, once dropped it and someone accidentally kicked it, and it was still playing music. It also has a remote built into it for just about every tv known to man, and a few known to monkey. thanks for fixing the sound issue, I reinstalled it and it now works perfectly :) and the issue isn't really with the hibernating, it is with the fact that it will say it is connected to the network, yet it isn't and it is difficult to make it connect

Laptop Specs: 1.73 Ghz Intel CPU 2GB RAM Windows Vista SP1 and Ubuntu 8.04 OS (dual booting, hard drive was partitioned by Wubi, once I know how to run WINE fully I'll be removing Vista) don't have much time to write anythign else, and the only audio it seems to be playing is the embedded music in myspace

I recently got Ubuntu, and it's great, except for these two things every time the internet is disconnected or I put it on suspended mode it I have to go and manually configure it which some times takes ages, any way to fix this? and also firefox won't play any sounds, I uninstalled and reinstalled flash player to no effect. I have searched through the preferences, but have not found anything odd I am running Ubuntu 8.4.0 Desktop LTD and also downloaded all the updates last night, so I am guessing that my drivers are up to date, right? and everything else has sound, so I don't understand it.
