When I began I had no idea about how to get prayer exp. Cue hours of time wasted praying repeatedly at an altar, wondering how long it takes to get a prayer level... I also thought you got def exp by having 0's hit on you... Strangely, I miss those days :

Although I don't find any of the filtered words offensive personally, I still see the need for them to be there. All I say is better safe than sorry. It doesn't do you any real harm by having them blocked out, and if that stops someone from being offended, then surely it's worth it being there.

You can't buy patience, therefore I highly doubt there'll be any noticeable difference. The only people who might be tempted to get higher fishing from this update are the DIYers who collect their own feathers.

Having gotten 77 mining in f2p, I have totally lost the will to smack a piece of iron with a pick again... I also burnt out in firemaking, although I may try again with maples instead of willows.

Yes I have noticed a decline in RC pkers, it seems to have been that way since the ZMI altar. Although this doesn't affect me as I rarely got pked anyway, hopefully it will mean more people give runecrafting a chance before dismissing it as a useless skill, as being pked was one of the reasons people choose not to runecraft.

Now, my experience with pures is fairly limited. My only experiences with them was when I tried at Rock Crabs, when I go rcing or when I'm training on monsters in busier areas. In no way am I saying that every pure is like this, I'm sure that many are like those who I've seen on this thread, thoughtful and generaly nice. It's just that to date I've not had the luck to meet one of these in game. What annoys me most about pures is their attitudes. The fact that if my strength is lower than theirs, they will flame me. If my range is lower than theres, they will flame me. Because my prayer is higher than theirs, and I choose to use it, they will flame me. Another thing that I find irritaing is rc pkers. These pures often have very little skill. I'm yet to run into a rc pker who has both tbed me and entangled. In any other situation I will escape, yet many don't realize. Why do they choose to waste their time trying to pk a defenceless target, with 0 prayer and no food, when they could easily make the money for a glory in (at most) half an hour? They're only wasting my time and theirs. Finally, I dislike the way they expect you to lay down and be killed. Terms such as "safer" and "prayer noob" are often heard from pures. They dislike anybody who fights back, or tries to protect the items they worked hard for. They can't accept that while they train str and att to hit hard, some people are training prayer instead. I find that most pures hate anything to do with balanced combat. But I will repeat, in case some people missed it *I don't think that this is every pure in the game, just those who I've unfortunatly had to meet*. I'm sure that if I were to look deeper into the pure community, I would find polite and decent pures, but that's not the point. I've met these pures, who sadly seem to be the majority, and that's why I dislike them.

100% the same. I have a particular dislike for rc pkers. By the time you're level 85+ you'd have thought that they would have found better ways to make money than pking a glory and some dhide, at best :x

I help because I feel it's the right thing to do. I don't help by giving items away, I help by telling them how to make money, how to get to wherever, how to start such and such a skill... Help a man to fish and all that... However, I won't break into people's personal arguments, their own business is their own business, no matter what type of langauge is being thrown round, I'll report and leave them to it.
