I am curious what the tip.it community uses on other sites and how they can contribute to expand tip.its competition with those other sites. Personally,I use RS Wiki frequently for its very informational bestiary and I feel that tip.it's bestiary is a little on the light side and would like to see much more expantion. I want tip.it to look into expanding its monster guide with such things as drop rate % of charms and other significant drops such as d picks, handcannon's, d claws ect... (tested over many kills of course) and monster weakness's and fighting styles. But what do you think? Post why you use other sites, and how tip.it could compete with it. But also discuss how tip.it could set up new content, if you think tip.it should have a better bestiary discuss how adding drop rate %'s would work or not work or if tip.it should make a charm dropper's guide based on color and charm drop rate of different monsters [hide=Idea's fo expanding tip.it] --> Adopting and refining good AOW Guides as "official" (or "unofficial") tip.it guides, and providing links some where on the main page... Personally this is something I've always wanted to see inplemented --> Overhaul many guides includeing quests, monsterhunting, minigames and others Letting the community write certain parts and haveing the crew go over them could cut down on alot of stress and time. Great idea. --> A more informative bestiary with drop tables percentages and maybe fighting style/weakness (info provided by a big community post), Also a guide that lists some of the best monsters to get a certain color charm/ type of herbs from --> gp/xp additions on tip.it calculators is a really good idea and could be implemented easily. Have you ever seen a (relatively large) company advertise a product/company on the majority of the Home webpage? That... - Isnt related to the parent site (ie Gamestop front page advertising call of duty black ops, gamestop sells GAMES so advertising GAMES is ok) - Isnt related to a contest/sweepstakes/big sale/historic event hosted on the parent site(ie Kraft foods front page advertising the movie Avatar because they are having a sweepstakes related to it) Legend of the seeker (dvd series) and a disney BOOK series isnt related to runescape, there is also no sweepstakes/sale/event involved with those memorabilia. I'm just saying that I think jagex is getting a little disparate for advertising space, adverts are one thing, a entire front page backround image is another thing.

Does anyone else feel like jagex is advertising a little too much? As much as I like legend of the seeker (and i was looking forward to a third season since I read the books, no emperor jajang :( ) I dont want to see a giant zeddicus or a purple horizon or a disney book when i'm gona playing runescape. F2p already has stupid political ads, Please stop using your homepage as a gaint advertising banner.

You should also make a section on both p2p/f2p bots, combat bots/yew cutting/mining bots, looking into "common" uncommon spots that bots train (lesser on top of wizards tower, idk of any others but im sure there are some)

Something I really hate about bind is that you need to use it when people run away, but if you have EDIT: lag long "loding..." times or high sensitivity/shakey hands you miss binding the opponent and sometimes he gets away. So i suggest a small Bar (similar to the opponent potential bar in bouty worlds) that states that you are "fighting: 1 pwn u n00b" stating the name of the person you are fighting. When you right click it its as if you right clicked the person it would say "attack, wlk here, trade with" ect. So if the person runs off screen or you lag, you can still bind-->1 pwn u n00b (your opponent)

Back story: I was hanging around the yew trees in rimmington waiting to use my newfound 82 magic for tbing yew cutters when all i could find was a lvl 21edit: bot, a lvl 21 bot. I was mad that he wasnt my lvl (main is lvl 78) so i pulled out my lvl 27 mage pker and all the stuff he had which wasnt much, just some random food as you can see and i killed him @ 28% (prop was a bot since he didnt retaliate) And i got a corrupt dragon dagger : :blink: i was like "wtf????, is that what i think it is ?????" and i havent used this accounct in months, last time i used this account, i never ever got any good kills on it cause everyone always safes and runs and the one times i did get kills was with people with less than 25k on them. Sir, you are wrong. Though you do not get bonus xp from crafting multiple runes you DO get bonus xp from explorers ring bonus. At lvl 99 rc with 28 rune ess crafting at the air altar you would get Without explorers ring --> 280 runes 140 xp With explorers ring with 3 successful 10% bonus runes --> 283 runes 155 xp I am 900000000000000001% sure of this, without a doubt. Technically its like receiving an extra rune essence and crafting it at lvl 1

ok... some of yall dont know how the exploer ring works -For every essence you craft in your inventory/ BoB/ pouch when you craft at air, water, earth and fire altars, the game rolls a 1d10 (rolls a 10 sided dice ie makes a 10% chance) -Each time the roll passes it gives you 1 extra rune of that type and the coordinating xp: 5 for air, 6 for water, 6.5 for earth, and 7 for fire for some reason its not working anymore!

im 9001% sure that it gave you more xp, i distinctly remember it giving me anywhere between 135-155 xp when doing air runes. And the filter was set to All when i did it,

I need around 50 rc for exploers ring 4 and as i was making earth runes, i am noticing that the 10% extra rune thing is (i think) broken! It no longer gives bonus xp, the last 7 times ive used it gives me normal xp It no long says "the explorer ring sparks to life and creates more runes for you" message in the message box But the runes i recieve still fluctuate between 55-62 which could be because of the rc extra rune thing I dont want to go through pages of patch notes so if someone could plz shed some light on this?
