  1. This, more xp then men since they have 100 con. Haha, true , true
  2. If you smith them, make sure you get the scroll of efficiency for 20k dungeoneering tokens, out of the 24k iron bars you will get 2k back (if u make legs) or 1.2k back (if you make pl8s). Not that much but worth it imo. On the other hand, you SHOULD NOT be smithing iron bars, they are a big waste of time and money. Here is why: Smithing Iron bars (making platebodys) cost 13gp/xp (assuming you high alch the pl8 bodys, which is the most resonable way to get rid of them) or 11.7 gp/xp if you sell them on ge (100 every 4 hours on min or if you manage to sell them to one person all in one transaction) Additionally you can only smith 510 platebodys /hour (source: http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1090666-skill-training-sticky/ Need confirmation on rate) (since you have no summoning level i will assume you have no access to a BoB) Just for kicks I will increase the rate to 600/ hr which will give you 75k xp/hr Smithing Iron Platebodys: 75k xp/hr @ 11-13 gp/xp That is very pathetic xp, there are other methods which give MORE xp/hr for LESS cost, Superheating gold ores can get upwards of 130k xp/ hr while costing only around 7gp /xp Not including the 125k magic xp on top of that. So now we have: Smithing Iron Platebodys: 75k xp/hr @ 11-13 gp/xp Superheating gold ore: 130k xp/hr @ 7 gp/xp Well, what if you want to use sc hammers? Woundnt that make the xp/hr increase? Why waste them on iron? Other bars give you a more resonable cost to xp/hour ratios which should suit you more depending on how much you value your time. And more chance of profit when you make diffent types of bolts arrowtips ect. Sell the iron bars and buy gold or (wait till the xp weekend ends) and buy mithril/addy and smith with them. EDIT: If your saving the iron bars FOR the xp weekend, just forget them and get addy, you want to get the MOST out of the bonus xp since the multiplyers go down pretty fast after a few hours.
  3. Jjjon1234: F2P If I use the free week of membership to change my display name and use the bonus xp weekend does it void me from joining the top f2p list if I DONT get ANY p2p skills or quests?
  4. I mean, what P2P thing can I do for money, while I have the free 1 week trial... I'm looking for a non-slayer monster that drops alot of herbs. I'm sorry I don't understand your logic here, you want to stay 100% f2p yet you've become a member and now wanting methods to make money in p2p? Pretty sure that doesn't make you 100% pure as your title description suggests. I'm 100% f2p because there is no way anyone can find out if ive been a member because I will level NO member skills. I can still be on the top f2p lists.
  5. I mean, what P2P thing can I do for money, while I have the free 1 week trial... I'm looking for a non-slayer monster that drops alot of herbs.
  6. well i could always kill lvl 2 men and make 400k/hr ...
  7. I'm gona get the "free membership trial" on the 31st and then use it for the bonus xp weekend (and for name change  ). But whats something I can do in the mean time to earn some money? Whats a good way to make money without geting ANY p2p skill levels or quests? anything above 400k/hr accepted..
  8. I don't know why you're bringing up smithing exp into this, when we're talking about mage exp. Not only is it redundant and pretty much require constant attention to your inventory and to click every 2 game ticks ( :shame:), but you're severely estimating the costs of training magic via superheat. As of today, the prices are as follows: >265 for gold ore, 213 for nature rune - 478 gp cost >97 for gold bar, 97 gp return Net gp = 381 gp, Superheat - 53 xp Gp/xp for superheating = 7.1~ gp/xp That's nearly double of what you claim. This is of course disregarding smithing exp since this is a discussion of training magic, not smithing. I claimed that ALL the xp you earn only costs 3.5gp/xp, thats why if you ONLY want Magic xp you superheat IRON which is only 1.8gp/xp atm :-P I admit that only some people like doing superheat while others dont. If you want to pay extra gp for the ability to afk more then go ahead, I dont mind the extra clicking  . [/thread]
  9. High alching is much more afkable then string ammy, all you need is to have is mousekeys and pound the number 5 on your numpad, no extra clicking, no using mouse to bank, no thinking. Its much more easy to just smash a key repetively then to watch the screen every 30 sec to see if the inv is done to get a new one. Actually the BEST way to train magic is superheat GOLD not only do you get 125k magic xp/hr, you get 130k smithing xp/hr all for only 3.5gp/xp. Not only is the magic gp/xp lower than string amulet, The smithing xp is cheaper then pl8 making (even WITH sc hammers) and Faster than smelting gold the oldfashion way. I like superheat  and yall dont
  10. pretty decent for magic lol... when you can get 2gp/xp highalching gold bars (+100% afk -low xp) and 1.8gp/xp superheating iron (-moderate work involved +155k xp/hr 125k magic + 30k smithing) I cannot imagine how 4-5gp/xp for only 115k-125k hr is remotely "decent cost for magic"
  11. rofl rsof can be really funny sometimes... [hide=i can just imagine what ge would be like]scroll:cyan:selling breast implants 20m!!1!!!!!!1112!@!@!@2211!![/hide]
  12. Yeah, do that, get summoning and use lamps on hitpoints and u could be pk on the account too! And since its a skiller, that means you train SKILLS so anything gos, smithing, crafting, thieving, agility. I mean, try for the highest total level you can without combat
  13. Me too I remember that layout from around the first time I played
  14. wtf  srlsy you must have 99 mining and freakin inSaNe luck... Yes, a better pickaxe will reduce the # of crushed ore No, do NOT bind it. First bind your best weapon then your best pl8body.
  15. Yeah, gl making mages splash its the most accurate combat type in the game
  16. Get your latest graphics driver. For nvidia go here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
  17. haha thanks, i didnt feel like looking it up. Its not meant to be best money making or xp, just afk-able stuff. I'll probably do some testing to see if i can catch lobs faster tho.
  18. [spam]amg Pu-Lease! caev slime is S0 much bettar m0net[/spam] At your levels I would go with monster hunting (maybe addy mining?), and if you poke your head around ge and youtube you can probably you can make quite a bit of money doing clicking intenseive boring no xp tasks like anchovies --> anchovie pizzas, cowhide -> leather, making unf potions ect.. if the markets right.
  19. Whats ACTUALLY strange is that he trained fishing to 66m xp... I mean has fishing become profitable recently or does he just want total xp/fishing rank? :-k
  20. I know that the fishing xp is lowered per hour but is the money lowered? Lobsters are only 215 gp while tuna is 91 and sword fish is 472, so id have to get 17 tunas for every 8 swordfish to lose money. I am banking both the swordfish and tuna, cooking the tuna for xp and saving for pvm and safe pvp, and saving the swordfish for dangerous pvp (swordfish > lobsters). I did say i would be willing to switch the raw swordfish to cooked swordfish and buy tuna for cooking xp too. The only reason i will switch to lobsters is if someone knows if you can fish lobsters faster than tuna/swordfish. PS. I know i said to feel free to tell me to do lobsters, i appreciate the input, im just asking quedtions i have, not trying to be mean
  21. I have some raw swordfish and tuna (and ill be getting more) from fishing in karajimba and I want to know if it would be better to cook them and risk burning (only 64 cooking) or just sell the raw ones and buy cooked ones and just cook the tuna. So actually I want to know how bad the burn rate is for swordfish at around 64 cooking. Feel free to suggest that I do lobsters, but give me the reason why. EDIT: id better put that im f2p bcuz some people dont know how to look at the "status".
  22. 100% f2p  I just can't ever seem to get a level up pic right when it levels up lol XD I guess i have 5 more to go... 24k xp to 70 smith...
  23. Please be f2p  i really want 90+ magic
  24. So now that you actually have one care to enlighten every one and tell us if it reduces special attacks (ie dds) 25%-->15% or 25%-->22.5%?
