They should display it below the death counter, in the upper-left hand corner during a dungeon. That would be awesome.

Just pixels asked for an altar 50 minutes in. There were 5 bovis logs and cash at ht. I proceeded to build bovis traps all around the altar spot. Yeah really, just because your team sucks doesn't mean you should make things worse by intentionally derping.

Ahhhh, derp. Go for anything low-defense first. Use slash with the rapier against zombies, and otherwise stab hellhounds, bats, dragons (rapier is the MOST effective way to kill dragons), brutes, forgotten mages, and I am not totally sure about ghosts. From what I've been told, anything the Hex bow is used against is also weak to the P rapier, if that helps. Just don't use the rapier on bosses :P Except for Shadowforger, which it absolutely rapes, other bosses have way too much defense for the rapier to be viable, even with rager scrolls.

Step 1: Equip it Step 2: Poke a mon(ster) Step 3: ???? Step 4: Profit! No, really, what do you mean? I always use mine on Aggressive because I am a strength noob (40m+ exp wat?), but other than that, is there a wrong way to use it? Outside of daemonheim, attack style makes very little difference, with a few exceptions. Skeletal Wyverns are strongest against stab, so you want to slash or crush them (Maul). Waterfiends are weak to crush and strong against everything else. Other than that, just stab everything. The only situation I would advise against a rapier is when fighting in multi-areas with more than two monsters consistently attacking you. You'll easily kill ~7% on it with a Lighthouse Dag task, and even more if you do a CT dag task with it.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
I have both, and I have to say the rapier owns the [cabbage] out of the CLS. Almost everywhere I've tried out the CLS, the rapier or maul is better. For TDs, I get much faster kills with a rapier. For slayer, rapier blows CLS out of the water. Against metal dragons, rapier is better. The ONLY area where I would say the CLS is better is against Skeletal Wyverns, but that is a very niche use since many people prefer to skip that task anyway; and besides, if you have the balls, you'll use a maul for Wyverns, which is the best weapon for that task hands-down.

19-Apr-2011 - Items Kept on Death Changes
NO! That is one thing that separates DG from the rest of the game --- everyone is more-or-less on the same playing field.

Your average time is awesome. Also, I see my name in there a few times

/obt/
That's what happens when any clan gains notoriety-- quantity and quality have an inverse relationship. The higher quantity, the harder it is to control the quality. And it probably wouldn't be totally unreasonable to venture that a fair amount of the "noobs" that have found DGS are RSOF idiots whose line of thinking goes something like "AMFG DGS HAS DEM HI LVLS I WENT MAH CHAOTICS FEST DERP." Or maybe I am just extremely jaded. Yeah, that's probably it.

You look [bleep]ing hot, but that's a pretty worthless bind setup, especially if you broke a hood/hex for it. Jagex broke his hood and hex. Another victim of a world crash? Jagex needs to get off their fat, money-grubbing asses and fix this [cabbage]. It can't be that hard to redesign how the binds are saved so that they DON'T [bleep]ING GET DELETED when the world crashes.

How many RuneScape originals from 2001 are still here?
Started in 2001, a few weeks before Dragon Slayer came out. Sup?

Most people will tell you to open the door first, especially if it's a key door you gated and are already at. Just make sure that you call out what's behind the door and REGATE before you tele. Opening a door and forgetting to regate will make the keyer rage hard. I also think it depends on the GD; it helps if the team says when there are "angry gds," which is what we call GDs with nasty monsters (133 shades) or combinations of monsters (t11 rangers + mages, etc). In those, it helps to have everybody so you can down the nasties ASAP or else a lot of food will be used and deaths may occur. Just make sure that you call out what's behind the door when you tele.

I am a little confused at the people who recommend a CCstaff/Rapier over a Blood Necklace. I thought, in terms of DPS, nothing beat the B neck + 2h combo?

Efficiency Trolls
Okay, I lol'd.
-
Efficiency Trolls
Honestly, the 'efficiency troll' debate was a pointless, cyclical topic to begin with. No amount of arguing is going to get either side to admit they are wrong, and it's just going to go in circles. Arguing about he-who-shall-not-be-named and that-action-which-shall-not-be-named-which-happened-to-him seems more pertinent to the actual issues at hand in this community, namely mis-management by the mod team.
-
Efficiency Trolls
And yeah, that's the idea. Go ahead and start banning people. Because that'll really improve this community. Trying very hard not to invoke Godwin's Law, but I'm afraid I might have to soon.
-
Efficiency Trolls
If things don't change, you're in danger of losing a bunch of very valuable posters and the whole community will be much poorer for it. Without people like Obt, Ancient, Green, and Grimy around here, this place really won't be much different than the RSOF.

Why can't Jagex ever introduce a new system without imposing pointless restrictions that make it obsolete?

[cabbage], he's <90 DG and effectively has one bind since he has a worthless Hex. Regardless of his keying ability, he's going to be pretty worthless for several million exp or until he chins to 99 Ranged, so I don't even think "him being a mega-douche" will factor into blacklisting him.

Wat. If that's true, he should be temp banned from DGS.

Wildy sucks
You're a bigger troll than Bladewing was. Just because Blade was very blunt and often posted TRUTHS which the unthinking majority didn't like doesn't make him a troll. Disagreeing =/= trolling.
-
Wildy sucks
Yes and jagex just lost half their potential target audience by removing them Yet they gained much more by adding wildy back. The vast majority of people they "gained back" are bot accounts. PKers were and remain a tiny portion of the RS playerbase.
- Grrr - I was unfairly muted/banned!
