  1. Seen him in the Banana Plantation earlier during a clue, wondered what the hell he was doing there seeing as they had removed him.
  2. My only concern is that the site itself is infected. Otherwise, the only way he could pull off something like this would be to hack into Jagex's servers, directly, which is almost impossible, given that they are run in Linux.
  3. Maybe i'm mistaken, since I never PvP but I believe one of my friends was making a big deal about getting 'the new item' from PvP. He showed me a mint cake. Entirely possible if the person he killed had it in his inventory, given it has a low GE value (and is therefore more likely to be a part of the victor's rewards).
  4. Mint Cakes are ultimately the result of the rampant inflation caused by the PvP artifacts. Because so much money has entered the game, it has become less important (much like in Diablo 2), so the richest players created their own currency. In Diablo 2, it was known as Stone of Jordan (SOJs) and then 3.20.20s and I have no idea what it is now. It's only a matter of time until Jagex bursts the "bubble" by either making mint cakes untradeable or adding a new method of easily obtaining them that ruins the "rarity."
  5. How do you do that?
  6. Wow, your team sucked. How do you die at Bandos, especially with a team of more than four people?
  7. you'll probably want to bring both some melee armour, as well as some dragonhide or similar. Take a melee weapon (for the start), and both a ranged weapon, as well as combat runes. (i didn't take robes for this, as i needed defence, but a magic staff of some kind may come in handy.) Other than that, take perhaps a couple prayer potions, and quite a lot of food. Would a salamander work?
  8. But the Greater Demons and Iron Dragons are still problematic. Hell, with extreme pots and Turmoil, one person can kill every single greater demon spawn by himself before they respawn. With more than two people at either Irons or Greaters, you end up having to wait for spawns. Not good.
  9. Alas, you cannot dharok with a Ferocious Ring. why not?
  10. I hate Scarabites Goraks AND Terrordogs, but rather have one on the list than 2, shame there's not a bigger block list though :P Fortunately, you can now unblock Steels and Terrobirds, as the biggest issue with Steels in the past was the very limited spawns which has been solved... And Kuradal doesn't assign Warped Terrorbirds.
  11. Only one thing I am disappointed about: No nechryaels in her dungeon.
  12. Waterfiends dont give a bonus with Turmoil :-(
  13. Three days, 14k bones, and dozens of "free altars" later I have met my goal. w00t!
  14. The fortress is white... the foam from water is white... That means... PMG SAILING@@@
  15. Oh come on, does that really deserve a rant? The quest sounds excellent, so what if they used Latin instead of making up some words for the curses? Tbh it's not a rant, it's more of a Jagex have put levels of interest into the rewards, and that extra knowledge shows more of Jagexs humour if you know where to find it. This. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they did that.
  16. Ahaha, they provided an actual incantation for each of the curses in the hymnal you get after the quest. And it's in LATIN! Way to go, Jagex, using the old cliche that Latin is "the ominous language." Also, I really do not like how it asks if you want to switch back to ordinary prayers each time you pray. It should be a right-click option with an ordinary altar.
  17. Can anyone tell if the level 95 prayer is better than piety?
  18. The DSQ doesn't match the Dragon Plate set. That said, I think the only way they can justify a dragon kite is if they give a set bonus for wearing the full, platebody, platelegs, and kiteshield.
  19. I've long been a supporter of giving Orks+ the ability to very rarely drop Sigils, with Rev Dragons having roughly the same chance as the CB to drop one. Spirit Shields are far too expensive to be practical.
