Lady Shahdie Achieves 99 Mining Guys that was such a blast! I must say the party exceeded my expectations x100. What made it so great had nothing to do with my planning but merely the awesomeness of the RuneScape community. Ever since I joined Tip.It I have met some great scapers and that is what has made this game the most worthwhile. Putting on that cape was no where near the immense gratitude I felt for all you people that took the time out of your day to show up for this event. Thank you oncemore so much. Below I've posted several pictures from the party! I had to switch them down to low detail hawtness because my poor CamStudio was hanging for dear life not to crash due to all the rocking party guests that were appearing on the screen! I quite love the photos that some of you have snapped and I will, if you don't mind , be posting those in replacement of the original screenies. The party footage will be edited into a nice little video by the end of today or the weekend. Stay tuned \... So I will mine on the very ore that I've put up with for the past year and half...the dreaded IRON ORE! As far as videoing the event, I've got my CamStudio set up and itching to record. However, feel free to compile your own video if you wish, never know when unexpected things can happen to the raw party footage! This update has kind of thrown a wrench into the drop party. I will not change the world the party will be held on at this time as I don't want people to end up getting too confused. I seriously doubt that there will be a mass flock to Mechscape. There are some concepts in RS that are so successful that ultimately are not easily matched or overshadowed by other games. The diehard fans won't be leaving anytime soon thats for sure. As far as a potential new player base, I'm not as sure how this will pan out. Mechscape technically is keeping up with the times, the whole sci-fi thing is often what seems to be successful now adays. However, RuneScape's allure is something truly unique, so we could possibly see a balanced influx of players for both games (with possibly an early lead for Mechscape after its initial release and then evening out with RS over time).

Most certainly have been! Its been refreshing not to get spammed by the same repetitive randoms twenty times in a row. I can never predict what random will hit me next. Also glad that the xp lamp is usually a definite option...needed an emergency one in case my party location does not have any available rocks to mine :P. The one thing that peeves me is that they all teleport you which means I often loose my training spot (again this was mainly in regards to my mining, no longer really an issue).

You'll be joining me in no time buddy \...keep rocking it! Trust me the last four are as easy as cutting a knife through butter.

The location says Rimmington Mine didn't you see :lol:? It'll most likely be iron/gold or my emergency xp lamp if the iron/gold is taken.

I think deleting an account based on those terms is much too harsh. While it is a bit disheartening to see your rather cleverly thought up name is already taken, you got to realize someone was quicker to the draw :lol:. However, I do agree with your point that such clever names are sadly never used and therefore almost pointless to create. In my opinion, if you are going to go so far as spend an hour thinking up witty and hilarious names, why not share your hard work by releasing your creation on the world :D. I for one cannot help but stop what I'm doing when I see names that are truly unique and give me a chuckle.

This journey has truly gained me friendships more than achievements, so what better a way to achieve 99 mining than to do it with the people I enjoy being with the most! This will be a party with a slew of achievements, including the celebration of one other than my own! Want to know whats you are in store for? Well read below for the delicious pre-party scoop!
