Lvl 92 Mining ACHIEVED!!! Achieving Level 92 Mining Screenshot It has been DONE... I have officially reached the half way mark of my long and arduous journey toward 99 mining! I am incredibly satisfied that I reached this milestone before school starts. It is one that every 99 chaser desires to reach to solidify that they are a competent 99 hopeful. Thank you so much my blog readers for giving me hope and cheering me on. Thanks to the few but proud Tip.Iters that made it to my 92 screenie...poor Fighter failed at getting his message to appear in time for the screenie :lol: (but still...thanks for showing up my fellow cabbage deciple). I know I can do this... I know I can do this... I know I can do THIS!

Wow quite a deep post. I've tried incredibly hard to maintain the fun factor while grinding away towards my goal of 99 mining. I never play in low detail as I love how the Al Kharid desert is now much more appealing to my eyes in high detail :). Often times many try to strike up conversations with me while I'm mining and I rarily ignore them. I chat the hours away with them even if it costs me 5-10k of mining xp per hour. I never establish a goal xp that I must achieve everyday and I never just stick solely with efficient powermining. I take regular breaks and indulge in a minigame like Fist of Guthix or even walk around aimlessly and look at the scenery. At the end of the day, the game loses its true purpose if we just focus on menial tasks day after day and not mix up the never ending cycle...or forget to "have fun" as you say ;).

Phew I'm not dreaming! Needed that rsautohater thanks :. Took stillakid's advice and updated my signature to reflect the newest tier I've reached in mining... EDIT: Reached the 6 million mining xp mark!

Lvl 91 Mining ACHIEVED!!! Achieving Level 91 Mining Screenshot Goodness gracious...another level up already Tip.iters!!! Yet another level is ticked off as achieved as I continue my quest to this epic 99. That level is the ever unique level 91 mining :. I cannot believe I am a mere 8 more steps away from finishing this journey. This is just surreal for me...and I just have to pinch myself as I see my rank has gone under the 5k mark in hiscores and my progress bar is nearing the highly coveted 50% complete mark! Thanks to Epic aka JRD for appearing in my level up pic (I sounded a desperate plea in Hyt chat...he was nice enough to answer and say he'd come). Sorry about the little blurb at the end though Gaara :?...hopes Gaara hasn't discovered this blog :lol:. Again...someone please pinch me. This feels too much like a dream...

Hey all, been on quite the mining roll this week! I've went over the 5.5 mill xp mark (I'm at 5.6 mill in fact) and I'm now in the top 5.4k miners of RuneScape! Somehow the 90s are motivating me like crazy. Once college begins (Sept. 20th) however, the progress will probably return to the snail like pace I've become accustomed to :mrgreen:. I'm around 304k (out of the original 550k+) away from 91 and looking forward to another sweet level up. As the xp grinds to each level rise, I strangely am handling them with more and more ease. Whether I get 99 mining within another couple months or within another year...I am feeling more and more certain that I'm destined to achieve it. I'm pumped Tip.iters :thumbsup:!!!

Though I completely agree that its spreading like a disease...this is the general attitudes of most teenagers now adays (I'm technically an adult as of November of last year eh heh). Its all about humiliating another to help deal with personal insecurities. In layman's terms: they are purely jealous of you because they are not as good as you (whether combat wise or intellect wise). Another factor that contributes to this, is the desire to intimidate an opponent into submission. Mouthing off is strangely effective and may cause you to easily lose sense of strategy and just get angry. Don't fall for this truly poor and pathetic tactic. All in all, pkers such as that give the wrong impression of what the true "Pking" attitude is all about.

Just remember I found that chat "enthralling"... I really should try and get on the new TeamSpeak chat (if its still up :ohnoes:). Been too preocuppied with my pickaxe and school.

Woohoo company \! See people...99 mining is an arduous journey but just take that scary first step. Best of luck Atom Smash, I'll keep checking your progress. Just remember...your mind is your greatest enemy :ohnoes:. So far I'm pwning mine teehee.

Lvl 90 Mining ACHIEVED!!! Achieving Level 90 Mining Screenshot Oh my goodness TIPITERS...I've done it. I've reached a peak I've always aspired to making it to...level 90 mining. The journey to this level up came with alot of special moments and made it a truly magical one to achieve. So without further ado, here's all the details about how I completed my final 199k xp dash to get to one of the most ultimate levels in the game... I began my mining session around 8 am sharp this morning. I sat down in my swivel chair, fired up the computer, and logged into RuneScape. Immediately I pick a 1900+ world and start chiseling away at one iron ore after another. After 2 hours had passed my mom called me from the kitchen (yes I still live at home...don't have a dorm of my own yet :P) and served up a plate that would pwn a Denny's Grand Slam. I enjoyed it heartily and gobbled it down as quick as I could. I gave her a quick hug and literally dived back into my swivel chair. Hour after hour passed until the clock had already read 12 noon. I decided I would give a shout out to Hyt chat and then continued to hit the rocks relentlentlessly. Around this time a few more miners start to poor in. I was a little disappointed when one attempted to steal my spot but you will not believe this Tip.Iters...I start to move my cursor to the the logout "X" and the guy said these words: "Woah, you aren't that girl on Tip.It heading for 99 mining?" I was flabbergasted :o...how in the world am I becoming so recognizable (first Killerred and now this)?!?! He apologized and asked me about my progress. I informed him that I'm looking forward to achieving 90 mining today. He wished me luck and quietly walked away. Another two hours pass and the clock reads 2 PM. Fighterman X, a Tip.Iter I recently worshipped the cabbage god with (long story...we spammed the cabbage telly one afternoon together :lol:), notices I'm in Hyt and that I'm babbling nonsensically about how I'm so close to 90 mining. He's kind enough to cheer me on and informs me that he'll be sure to make it to my level up pic. The clock now reads 3 PM. This was my last and hardest hour before achieving 90 mining. It was harder because a little mischievous kitty of mine...aka Tiger Lilly...decides to climb on top of my mouse arm (my right arm) and rest her big bottom on it. Here's a pic of the little rascal at the moment: Even though my arm was starting to lose circulation due to the heaviness of her behind...I remained focused and did not even bother to shoo her away with my left arm. Finally the clock was nearly about to read 4 PM and I was just moments away from hitting 90 mining. Fighter had kept true to his word and showed up in style...he was wielding a rubber chicken! I kept hitting the rocks till I was down to 100xp and alerted the rest of the Al Kharid miners that I was about to hit 90 mining. A few were gracious enough to stop their mining and watch for the beautiful 90 mining fireworks (thanks guys!) I hit the last rock and watch as the congratulations messages spam my screen. I hit print screen and immediately crop & save the picture :. Fighter and I then headed to Varrock where we hit the bar and drank heartily. Fighter was nice enough to spring for the drinks teehee. I gulp a few down and spam the dance emote. Fighter joined in and we had a good old fashion riverdance. Here's the pic: Well those are all the special moments (to me at least) that led up to me getting 90 mining. Thanks to all my supporters out there. Your kind words and encouragement provide me the best motivation possible. I am ready to face the level up grinds to come...with...a...big...Smile :D.

You try hurrying up and maintaining a 4.0 GPA average while attending college :D. I'm sorry but I value my studies over gaining a 99. In my case there's no rush. I'm willing to give this years Mr. Speedy Gonzalez 99 Mining Champion :P ...

Umm which post are you referring to :P? If its mine, I was just analyzing how his point that the maturity level will rise is not exactly a probable outcome. If I seriously was affected by immaturity or victimization why would I bother trying games like FOG, Bounty Hunter, or Clan Wars? Heck I love the atmosphere and the chance to test my metal. I just wanted to point out that in those Pking atmospheres you have certain types that don't come to fight a fun duel but just to fill in some kind of void by mouthing off and putting down. Nothing that would push me off just an observation about how certain people embrace pking.

I quite like your analysis. Not so sure about these two points however. Unfortunately the e-bully element of pking is a factor that will never disappear from any MMO you'll play today. For those types its not about the "thrill of the kill," nobley besting someone in a duel, or looking for actual "challenges." For the e-bully its about making another person feel that they are worthless in comparison to themselves because they are able to hit a pixelated number higher than that person. Now I'm not saying that the vast majority of pkers are e-bullies but sadly a large margin are. A radical update like this will certainly encourage better strategizing but not necessarily encourage better sportsmanship in my opinion. Overall though, I agree with all the other points you mentioned :thumbup:...good thread.

Hey all finally got a monumental update for you! I have hit the 5 million mining xp mark! Woohoo! My progress has bumped up to 39% complete and I am now one of the top 6.9 k miners of RuneScape. I had a much more productive session today (100k+ xp) and I was really feeling motivated due to being so close to that lovely 9-0 number. I have around 300k ish xp left to the next level up and I can just about taste it. Hopefully if my spare time permits me, I'll hit 90 mining before the start of my fall semester. Who knows maybe 91 may be on the way soon as well :D. Whatever the outcome may be, 90 will indeed be one of the most cherished levels I ever hit. As always, thanks to those who still have faith in me!

Looks rather exciting but a scardy cat saradomin clad miner like me would probably stay away from PvP worlds during powermining sessions...I lieks waring my gearz wile minin :lol:. I'd only switch to PvP worlds...to PvP! Couldn't stand the risks otherwise. Then again, we don't know what 1% of the worlds will be safe so we'll have to see. Got to say with this new added Pk anywhere element, RuneScape will resemble the other MMORPGs out there that have no-holds-bar worlds/servers.

Hey all! Took a break from mining to try out the intriguing new RuneCraft minigame : . In a 48 hour level up dash I rose my rc level from 42 all the way to the required 50. All I can say is one word...pain. Luckily I've been grizzled by mind numbing powermining sessions so it was nothing I was not already accustomed to. When I finally made it to the RC guild I saw the two wizard scientists bickering about orbs and preaching their rc knowledge to me. At the end of the day all that jibber jabber accounted for naught and I just went with sunshiney yellow (sorry my Tip.iters though green is our color of passion, yellow is a happier color and reminds me of yellow smiley faces :D...sheesh that was corny). After several hours of minigame fun I actually bumped into another Tip.iter...Killerred005 (be sure to check out his smexy blog)! To my surprise this legendary skiller was the one who recognized me and sounded the friendly Hyt call. Am I actually becoming famous?! Doubt it. Anyways, that's all the updates for now. Below I've posted my banana ensemble earned after winning a few thousand minigame tokens. Bananas/Smiley faces ftw!

I believe Jagex modeled their party hats after the ones worn in the UK during Christmas time. One of my cousins moved here from the UK and every time we visit them they pass out the crown shaped party hats for everyone to wear :D.

I am stunned at how Jagex has been very kind to us free players! I convinced now that when I can obtain the means, I am going to go member to support this kind of generosity (college is naturally eating up my funds atm :P...so maybe after college but I'm planning on it). Thank you very much Jagex :thumbsup:.
