  1. Hey all, today is my 19th b-day :D!!! Sadly 94 mining did not come as a b-day gift for me but I think all of you know what a great gift all of America was given 2 days ago... That gift has MADE my entire year. I could not be happier. It gives me hope that any one of us can ascend to such a place in the American society. America is really a land where almost anything is possible. Love you all...remember, ANYTHING is possible.
  2. This is a beautiful moment in American history. I am speechless.
  3. As of 8:33 AM PST this morning, my vote for the next president of the United States (*cough* Obama) has been CAST! BOOYA! Guess the people in my town ain't that hardcore...I was so dreading a bunch of people lined up from 3:00 AM and onward. Got into the building and casted my vote within 30 minutes :.
  4. Just found your post in General Discussion :(. Check your PMs if you ever log on again. You have always rocked my world Samurai .
  5. Hey everyone, hope you are all having a Happy Halloween! Just wanted to post a pic of the freaky garb I'm sporting as a costume at the moment. Somehow a combination of the Halloween event reward and random event mime gear...lead to these rather disturbing results! Who'd of thought ?:
  6. Here's the costume I'm sporting after putting together the clothes from the Halloween event and a bit of mime gear. Freaky to say the least :
  7. As much as I dislike and loath Palin...this is plain ludicrous ! What in the world is so shocking about a smidgen of noticeable facial hairs and the wrinkles of a mother of several children? Sheesh America regresses in IQ like by 50 points every year. Now if you excuse me...I'm going on 24/7 facial hair watch now.
  8. Kind of sad when we start referring to each other as vermin :(...what is the world coming to? Why do we generalize each other? Sad sad sad... If conduct in an imaginary war causes you to get so bitey...I swear that we all have lost the ability for basic interaction with each other. Again I shall stress, individuals tried to ruin the experience not the community.
  9. Woah seems you're spitting alot of sour grapes there! Range is slightly underpowered in f2p but once you reach 80-99 range you rangers literally dominate PVP. I cannot tell you how many close encounters (and deaths) I've had to high level range pures recently :P. They literally dish out 12-16s faster than I could ever hope to hit a 16-18 with my rune scimmy/rune b axe/rune 2h. Your rant does not have much basis and is mostly ranting about not being high powered enough (yet) to ko your opponent. The cure to your frustration is not higher grade weaponry or safe spot tweaking...the cure is just getting your range level up a wee higher. Sure its more risky to have a higher level pure but trust me I fear and respect high level rangers. They are the bad boys on the battlefield that kill you in cold blood in literally seconds flat.
  10. I know Jagex doesn't permit accounts that are registered under the age of 13 to use regular chat. They are only able to use the quick chat function to talk so as not to give out personal information. But its bizarre if you can't use quick chat either. I also know of a bug that occurs when a new ad loads in F2p and doesn't allow you to use the chatbox until you reclick somewhere in the game window. Maybe your computer/browser is having trouble with the Java applet. Try loading RuneScape in a different browser (such as Firefox if you are using Internet Explorer) and see if it is able to work with the Java applet better.
  11. 17k-18k?!!!! Brandon thanks for posting this...I better get to mining some again! Must have GP...lots and lots...OF GP .
  12. Bad leadership my foot... Yeah lets drop this event cause we clearly are in no shape to lead an army... Erm are we electing generals to lead troops for World War 3 or something?! This is MSSW...a fun event where any willing member of the different fansites can fight in a fun and (usually) massive war. If you believe Tip.It is in no shape to participate or we should solely restrict it to the "cream of the crop" then let that be your decision...not Tip.It's decision. Individuals caused the less prideful moments in the battle not the generals, not the Tip.It community,...Indi-freaking-viduals! Phew...sorry for bursting like that...got a little too passionate there . I still <3 you and all the other forum goers anyways...we're the Tip.It community...and we all ROCK. I think that sums it all up : .
  13. The least those teens should be charged for is the beating they gave that poor guy :o. Not so sure how game items can be considered tangible enough. To me virtual crime is only really plausible to prosecute when someone rips off bank accounts online or similar identity theft. Enforcing it on an online game seems to me to be incredibly too harsh. Its like prosecuting the child who says "Finders keepers, losers weepers!" The only discipline that the child should get should come from their parents. In the case of online games, the parents are replaced with the game company. So the game company must enforce the discipline on accounts that have violated the rules and stolen from others. Of course though...in a case where someone was robbed at knife point and beaten violently...the least the assailants should be charged for is assault and battery.
  14. Welcome to the Rune Mining club Brandon. Here's your complimentary membership card :... *Hands Brandon a card with a holographic rune ore and his name engraved in golden letters.*
  15. Erm yeah this publication is way too skewed :?...there were several posts in the aftermath topic that said they enjoyed the event. I thought the goal of journalism is usually to present a fair and balanced view. Even the captions you put in the fan pictures were intentionally negative spins. Biases are never pleasing to read about events like these. Maybe the MSSW segment should have been a joint effort...since its obvious that people such as yourself who were burned want to call the event a complete failure...heck even I saw the backstabbing going around and managed to steer clear of the renegade groups but I don't view this as a "failed" Mssw because of them. While I am highly disappointed in their behavior (and have made it known in the aftermath topic)...I still believe that the effort put together to rally the Tip.It community was commendable and awe inspiring! I guess those spitting sour grapes are more concerned about their damaged pride rather than the pride the Tip.It community felt in achieving this massive undertaking .
  16. I pk as a nice break from the mundane act of swinging my pickaxe to and fro. Its such a nice release from a long day of mining with my rune pickaxe to slash at someone relentlessly with my rune scimmy ...too bad I'm the one who usually ends up being pwned relentlessly. Eh, such is life :.
  17. Come on Maul, you know that comment is uncalled for. You must realize that these people had the monumental task to rally over a 300-600 person force. You and I could do no better in my opinion. Its incredibly wrong to refer and generalize the leaders or the whole of Tip.It as unsportsman-like or idiotic. There are so many morons in this world where ever you look. If you look in this post, most claim they did not in fact bs but were bsed. So obviously the majority of us did not wish to engage in this act. Plus, how do we know for sure that 100%, 90%, heck even 30% were actual Tip.Iters (of course most of the minority that were Tip.it backstabbers are known at this point ...now do you realize what you bsers caused, hope so). They could have easily been party crashers interested in messing around with our big war. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the fact that this was a victory.
  18. I originally was in Ts Stormrage :). I lagged out and rejoined under Mario Sunny. Mario was no where to be seen but then out of no where I see Stormrage emerge from the battlefield with his white armor and horse shield. I then fell in on him, got a nice screenie out of it (see the pics I posted on Pg. 5), and helped with a few kills or two. It was incredibly fun under that unit. All the Tip.It generals really did awesome in my opinion...regardless of a few renegades running around .
  19. Umm even though I don't want to add to the "hating" going around :? ...what rogues like yourselves did really didn't entertain the other Tip.Iters at the event. People were probably not concerned about losing their rune weapons but losing their trust of their fellow Tip.Iters. I doubt in the wars to come people other than your own clanmates would be encouraged to fight alongside you. The point of MSSW is to unite a fansite, not assemble a bunch of renegade clans going around and killing random teammates. Really SaDa, your nonchalance is inconsiderate and disrespectful to other members of the Tip.It community. And if you are encouraged to kill out of boredom...it shows you lack the discipline for these kinds of events...even when the event is primarily a fun one. Please if I may ask you...next time be considerate of your fellow Tip.Iters. We all wish to enjoy this event and not get ko'ed by our teammates (thank Saradomin I made it out without being backstabbed).
  20. Hey all, MSSW finally came and this miner finally had the chance to lay down her pickaxe and pick up her sword for the glory of Tip.It. Unfortunately I did not make it to 90 cb for the war due to being swamped with course work but I did manage despite the odds to make it to this epic war. It was as huge as last time but with the difference that the other fan sites barely had any numbers . If you wish to see the screenies I snapped take a look at this post. WE DID IT TIP.ITERS!!!
  21. Sheesh everyone...lets handle a victory a little more positively :D. Positives: 1. This was the first MSSW in which I survived the entire event. 2. Our opts were probably over the turnout we had last year. 3. We squashed our opponents in a mere 15-30 minutes. 4. We were underestimated twice yet over-delivered twice for the past 2 wars. Here are some screenies I managed to snap when I felt safe enough to do so: [hide=MSSW4 Screenies]Our Mighty Army Laying Siege to the MSSW4 Battlefield A Nice Fall-In Screeny of the Ts Stormrage Unit The Tip.It Army Reeking Havock on Varrock (Plus Someone Spitting Sour Grapes) 3 Out of Several Tip.Iters Who Managed to Survive the Entire Battle ^_^ [/hide]
  22. No one join "rs sprintz" cc or "iloversc"...those are obviously party crashers trying to cause confusion -.-. EDIT: Or "lovelost"
  23. Thanks to those of you neutralizing the rune party crashers...wonder what members of the different fan sites stupped so low as to do such a thing -.-. It brings dishonor to us all.
  24. Our sea of green is starting to trickle into the bank...lets wash this bank over with more Green capes my fellow Tip.Iters!!!
  25. I won't stay logged in for 20+ hours ...but I love logging in when it winds down to the night before.
