[/hide] The spinning plate came before the bts. ;) Anyway, there was an april fools update which is still there. Yeah, I remeber the update, I thought it was erased to avoid confusion, but now I can't find it- tried looking in RSOF updates and RS main page updates -.- .

He was in As A First Resort too (lying around tho)
  14. Okay- a kinda crazy idea- use cyan-white tribal top (about 1k in GE last time i checked [which was about 4 months ago lol]) and either blue pirate legs or kyatt legs. IMO Tribal top- kyatt legs combo is pretty good. (I think I won't have a pic lying around tho) Edit: Turned out that I actually HAVE some pics, but all are from up high or from side, so nothing good. :wall:
  15. Okay... Some constructive answers for a while :D I fished about 71-76 in f2p doing fly fishing- I got about 4/10 trout and 6/10 salmon for 10k feathers. So pike should be more xp on average as you get more low-xp fish, but IMO feathers are cheaper than fishing bait (as im semi-quited I may not know the up-to-date data tho). Also I think fly fishing might be faster than baiting, but not 100% sure it's faster xp-wise. Hope I helped. ;)
  16. First try is/was Woodcutting. It's cape looks cool and it's kinda good to have a non-buyable skill as a first skill  Anyways.. I chopped and I chopped (in Rimmington ofc as Draynor is FTL for powerwcing) like from 85 to 92 purely on willows, then chopped till 93 with willows/yews combo (then got a bit bored and didn't chop as much as I had planned) UNTIL... Jagex tweaked the deposit box in Rimmington so only P2P'ers can use it :wall: (I had Rocking Out done BTW) and then I kinda quit. Since October when they did it I have only logged in for Christmas event \ and to check out some updates. So "only" 5m xp to go  . What a fail :D But it's still going to be my first skillcape when I get a better computer (my mom promised to get me a laptop  ) and some will to play RS, which is REALLY time-consuming. FFS, wrote too much again...
  17. Support with all of my limbs! BUT: IMO these: *Harpoon a shark *Cook the shark without burning it Should be Hard not Expert tasks in Ruler of Talent- Maybe a manta ray should do the trick for Expert, Also, why is this: *Crack the wall safe in the Rogues Den In Expert too? :shame: It requires ONLY 50 thieving... (Unless you are not thinking the ones in the lobby/near bank) Garden of Summer need 65 thieving and is "just" hard -.- . Other than that (in case I didn't miss anything) it's REALLY good suggestion. \
  18. Try to stay serious troughout reading this post. ;) When I started back at 2004 (or something) I didn't get the hang of it too good. It was probably b/c of my lack on English, but also because back then I had almost no idea where I were in the world. It took me about 1 month (I didn't play at home, could only play at friend's place) to understand how to get out of lumbridge. :wall: After that (I also bought a world map from general store) I started to learn about the world of RS. I also discovered bank like about 2 months (?) after starting to play- call that a convenient place.... My inv was full all the time (of killing goblins which was only thing I was good at) I couldn't even find a store -.- . And LOL I remember when I discovered how to string amulets after about 3 months of playing :D . I was so exited. But now (with the new tutorial) the navigating in Lumbridge should be easier. It shows you where to get things you need (exept for mine, as it collapses) and where you should go next. And the tutors are REALLY helpful. If I would have such good place to start I would have gotten much better start. So at least the curve has gone for better for the beginners. (And for the first paragraph of the post- I HAD NO CLUE ABOUT HELP SITES) So my start was miserable.... (Laugh as much as you want now) E: LAWL, I just thought I deleted the post so I came out with another thing: [hide=THIS- quite long, but some more things]Okay... I just wrote about 300 words of how pitiful I was at start and so on and so on and I clicked the Cancel button #-o .. Anyways I think the curve has gone much more shallow during the past 2-3 years- the new tutorial, tutors, Runescape homepage as an informational site and so on. At 2004 (when I started) the RS homepage had fairly little information at all, and as I didn't speak English very well, I was stuck in Lumby, even not knowing there are banks and stores and such. But with every failure I knew a bit more about RS- what not to do and how to go somewhere. After getting a in-game world map (you guys remember it?) I atleast knew where I were, and after some time I didn't even need it. ... Okay I went a bit off-course... But my point is that even though RS does more to do make the game easier for beginners to start with, even at almost no tutors can one understand RS through experience.[/hide]
  19. Don't forget that Lucien wanted to make himself a god with the Stone Of Jas....
  20. I got the letter too, I killed Lucien in the quest and I'm currently f2p luls. I was like WTF!? And try to operate the Broomstick- it says 'You don't yet know how to operate this item.' AND MORE: Jagex removed the locker useage from f2p!!! (Hates you Jagex... :shame: ) Now I got to use the store in Rimmington/chop willows in Draynor/get p2p :P
  21. this may be true, cna anyone substantiate this claim? Weeeell, i can't back it up per say..., but i can use logic. For the without runes bit, i remember seeing that (probably in a postbag, or a god letters) "magic runs through their veins" referring to the mahjarrat. As for every mahjarrat using ancients, well, there were only about 100 or so mahjarrat that came to Runescape, so either they were the cream of the crop and could wtfpwn nearly every human which would prove ancients as being powerful (though, if a mere human could master it, i kinda doubt it's that special to a mahjarrat), or every mahjarrat can use ancients in some form which would explain why a human could learn it. Urgh, long run on sentence. [/hide] Well, "magic running through their veins" could just mean they were very adept at mastering it with more basic runes. Well I don't have the facts to prove it right now, but take it from me, the Mahjarrat can perform Magic without needing runes. I'm sure I read it in various tomes as well as seeing it ingame, and besides that it is also stated on the Runescape Wiki. (Which counts as about 99% proof) As far as I know every Mahjarrat can use Magic without the aid of runes, they used Ancient Magicks (they probably were the first to use it), and they were the only ones to use it in Zaros's armies. It could of course be possible that they teached the Magicks to other, including human, mages, who followed Zaros, but there has been no proof found about that. No proof until... Now? Guess who teaches you Ancients in the end of Desert treasure? Azzandra (not sure about spelling) is a Mahjarrat, and it teaches you the spells for saving it/helping Zaros...
  22. 00- ranged :D (I would have liked 007 more :P)
  23. It looks like the face has been streched a lot lately, as the other gnomes have long and thin faces...
  24. Jennica has been dead 400 years. The Strange Old Man, is still alive. So if the Strange Old Man had Jennica at 18, and Jennica died at 25 (judging by Summer age) That makes the Strange Old Man 443. He may be old, but he aint that old! And remember, as stated by Jagex WE DON'T KNOW HOW LONG A YEAR IN RUNESCAPE IS! From 2001 when Rs started to now, 2008 it's still the SAME YEAR! ----- Nothing else constructive... Oh, and if I remember correctly the Summer's farm was destroyed in God Wars (has bad memory so don't hesitate if I was wrong)
  25. I wonder how many xp/h would you get chopping the magic trees in wilderness from Spirit of Summer quest?
