  1. :? lol I just drew the two characters on paint, and get drew each movement.. I redrew the background and just pasted the character in, saved. Moved character (or replace with next movement) and saved again.. It just builds up to an animation.. When all the frames are finished, I imported em into flash added minor touches then exported it as a .gif .. Im flattered that you like it but really, I only spent an hour on it.. Maybe I should do a second version with different alternative of getting accross? Wouldn't take long at all..
  2. Looked at the idea, had a little chuckle and opened paint for an hour of animating.. Any good?? All done on paint put together on Flash mx, 200 frames at 20 seconds long.. :D Sorry for re-doing the characters, wanted to give them more characteristics.. The gal is suppose to look like a B*tch..
  3. Its a whip aint it?, if it is its ok but a bit too simple.. most people would think its a waste of their time loading the page, heres my pic. Not to be rude just showing that it's easy to do, doesn't require much skill..
  4. not pixel but its good anyway..
  5. good, but the left foot looks like a hand. :D Is he naked?
  6. :o Better than awesome.. I'd love to see more, maybe post some older pixel work? That can't be your first.. :D One problem is that the background is distorted, as if you saved the background as a jpg seperately than pasted the skull guy over it.. Dunno if that was deliberate, looks great anyway.. putting me to shame, with your experienced work.. Looks like I've got a lot of work to do, (opens paint with tears in eyes)
  7. Worth 10k? probably one of the worst sigs i've ever done but im soo eager to get that 10k! :D ....just forget that 10k, dont feel like it now.. If for some reason you like it feel free to use it but to be honest you can't get anything for 10k. :?
  8. Well done, its... erm...text?!.. What about it do you want to be rated, the textiness?? 3/10? nice text
  9. Try making a few free animated sigs, 300x150 size.. Just post on the Media Market asking for any requests, if you post that animation you'll surely get half a dozen people replying.. Here's simple idea, just a quick animation about a mage casting magic on someone..

His right side looks stretched over a bit (His right is on the left side of the picture), you could fix it by moving his right arm over closer to his head (not too much).. Saying that the legs look too short which is the main problem, but especially the one behind, apart from that I suppose its good though it is in its earliest of stages so from tbis point it can either become amazing or bad.. Its all down to you. It would be nice to see what you choose for a background, if you change his back leg more it would look like he's running towards something.. Maybe castle wars? Anyway its not my decision, what ever you choose is up to you, you just have to work on it untill your happy with the results.. ~Terley
  11. Much better, next time try make an animated sig? new one 6/10 for animation
  12. erm, what do expect people to say? I don't think its that good, even if it's a first.. 1/10 I'd say make the head smaller and put him in a possible position, that one looks painful.. Draw a more lifelike character, if you still want it as a stickman add more detail like a face expresson or something. with such little animation you can afford to improve the graphics, he's only blinking.. the fire looks ok though, add more fire detail and a bg.. more action animations are liked more cus it looks more impressive, much more frames..
  13. Heh, Im sure plenty of people will have a go at this but you've posted on Media Discussion. Most buying and selling of sigs goes on at the Media Market page, thats gonna be a toughie sig though you'd probably want a more experienced pixel sig maker.. Try this page, people posting who they think are the best pixel sig makers -http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=269107- Im apparently in the top 10, i think.. A mod will probably move this thread to Media Market so don't get worried if it dissappears.. EDIT Yeah and more people will be interested the higher your willing to pay, as Godslayer said :D
  14. Looks like we've got another great pixeler, awesome style mate.. Welcome to the forum and goodluck with finishing the sig.. :D
  15. bet you don't even know how to make pixel sigs do ya? 10/10, well done punkage. :D
  16. I love the way you make your pixel pictures, I used to just draw straight on to paint with no care about proportions or making it look real.. It's a great way to build up characters and it's something I've only recently started to do. Your characters actually look like something you'd find on a game, thinking back to something like street fighter.. Especially the faces you use, It's the stances you put your characters into, it's very original.. Most people draw em with straight on or from the side but you don't seem afraid of puttin them in all kinda positions (I know that sounds sick).. Well keep it up you can only get better :D
  17. Well thanks to Quer_skulll I realised that my technique of colouring was just rubish, I took on his advise and had a little practice on improving one of my first pixel sigs.. Because the sig was too gory I just chose to do a cropped version of it which is only 100x100, he's just forced a battle axe through someones chest which isn't that nice is it? :D Heres the first version, very simple and really bad.. On the updated version I simply opened a new ms paint program and used the original as a reference, I tried to keep the style basically the same.. What d'ya think, looks better zoomed in I think? Heres a version with rain added as an effect on photoshop, might of wrecked the pixel sig if I tried to do that on paint :? .
  18. One of my first pures was called Pure Ownage :D , The pictures ok but you can tell its just been pasted onto a black 300x150 background, loads of white dots added then simple text to finish off.. Well I guess you achieved what you were aiming for but to be honest it looks like a 5 minute job.. And im not just tryin to be rude could I'd probably give you much more credit if you spend hours on something rather than a couple of minutes even if it didn't turn out a masterpiece, it's the effort that counts.
  19. hello, :D Dun know what your talking about :( .. It's like tryin to remember what I was doing exactly 3 years ago I wouldn't have a clue cus I just randomly post things throughout the day... If you've got a detailed question about Flash, pm me cus all you'll get here is a debate  .. The chance is that I probably mentioned (www.)newgrounds(.com), you get tutorials made by other animators if you type Tutorial in the search box on that site. :? Only thing that comes to mind mate..
  20. The problem with your character was that he's too skinny compared to his arms, not a masterpiece but this is kinda what it might look like.. PM Quer_Skulll for shading tips :P ..
  21. woah that gives me chills how better the shading is, I guess it works for that type of picture eh.. Its definately changed the way I look at shading, I usually try blend the colours like this (below) to make it smoother but with such a drastic shade change it ends up looking weird.. I fix that by lightening the darker side so it looks more suttle, thats were I go wrong. By trying to make it look smoother I loose the depth of the picture, it's probably because in rl i'm used to using actual paints on a bigger canvas that just a 300x150pxl canvas.. :D If ya get me.. It's much different with such a small picture. But it doesn't mean I'm goin to stop using my way of shading because in some situations your way just wouldn't suit, when a theres light surrounding a certain object/character you won't need such a big difference in shade, but yeah when more shade and depth is needed i'll definately use that technique.. heh im exited now, thanx alot :D I'll get to starting a new picture tommorrow after my Tech exam. :x ~Terley
  22. You could have done better for your first, axe is right the colours dont match very well and it being a first isn't really an excuse.. If you don't like negative feedback id suggest that should make another and simply take on the advice, try out different selections of colours cus im sure you'll be much happier with the end results.. Im no expert at Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro but I do have some experience so I know that you just have to mess around with the effects untill your happy with the it looks, I'd also advise you to listen to the people at tip.it because they're not all bad people, im sure that if you'd be more open minded you'd benifit from our knowledge :D .
  23. Hey most pixel artists probably know this but if ya want to make paint easier while drawing and shading while your zoomed in click view, zoom, show grid (or Ctrl+G).. Comes up with a grid, only saying this cus ive only just realised paint had a grid :D :D :D!! Oh and I bet that was obvious, well wtever.. Im sure someone will find that info useful  Never used Graphics gale, is it like paint??
  24. Great, I love it.. you could probably make it better but I wouldnt know were to start, most people are better than me here.. Keep it up man..
  25. I got bored, got maths exam tommorrow so its not like im gonna revise.. I recoloured that pic from StonedPriest, just to see if I could make it look more 'real'.. Ya can comment if you want Quer :) And I didnt mean dont listen to Quer just looks that way
