  1. Even if running does come back, I don't see this as a buyable skill (in the traditional sense). Compare RC with runners to say, crafting, magic, or fire making. The later all blow RC out of the water in terms of XP on the cheap (even with runners), and if you're willing to pay a little bit more, you'll get much faster experience. RC is still limited to how fast you can complete a trade.
  2. In a med to large dungeon, if there is convenient fractite ores I'll mine them and make armour at the earliest opportunity (smith it in the current room usually). The damage absorption that helm and legs provide really do make tanking easier, especially against lvl 60+ monsters. It also means I'm spending less time grabbing dusk eels and less interruption getting from room A to B, and more food to go around. Plus, my shared XP is always on, so you shouldn't mind getting free smithing XP
  3. 8 gb iPod touch... 2nd gen I think. Would love to throw it against the wall, because I hate apple. Don't use it at all, except when I reach my limit on Pandora.
  4. That's fine... Although we need a report function or PM thingy to help keep everything current. I'd want to live in the middle of nowhere, on some huge plot of land so I could do whatever the f--- I wanted to. An island might work as well.
  5. I'd probably have that TV and then movie theater seating, for a buncha guests. Plus, as everyone will tell you, bigger is better.
  6. New item is Television. http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN65C8000XFXZA 65" 3D LED tv, retails for $5999. I wanna be a billionaire so freakin' bad.
  7. New item is alarm clock... RCA 3720A... was a gift. It works, has batteries for when it becomes unplugged. I only wish I could remember to turn it off when I leave for vacation... :wall: 4 / 5 stars.
  8. There was a suprising lack of Legos in my house this year. Do kids just not like them any more? It probably has something to do with the fact that my youngest brother has tons of video games, while I grew up without even a TV. I have no idea... but I'm a kid *at heart* so it was a good year. I started collecting legos wayyy too late.
  9. Lego set. I win.
  10. FOG is amazing training for low / odd levels, tbh. People you fight have their HP + 5*150 worth of hits, and virtually zero defense. Only problem is you have to put up with the people that think winning big is everything...
  11. Your first mistake was trying to take any of them seriously ;) Seriously... you should know by now.
  12. Is it me or do all liberals hate America? I hate any country that imposes its will on other nations by force, and builds military bases all over the world while its children cannot afford college or health care. Call it "tough love," something conservatives love to play with the unemployed; why do you hate 9/11 first responders? Although I hate most governments, so why are you discriminating against all of the other ones you're leaving out? Notice I said "empire," not "America." This means an end to our foreign military bases, and an end to our wars in the Arab World, the Middle East and South East Asia. And to the topic at hand, conservatives don't want to end DADT because they know what I know: the repeal of don't ask don't tell makes their opposition to gay marriage harder and harder to sustain. And of course their contempt for the civil rights of minorities in general. Just ask Barry Goldwater, their candidate in 1964, whose candidacy focused on the opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. So because you hate the American Government so much, you want it to be bigger with more and more government programs? That makes sense. Also, I do not want the government giving ANYONE handouts - that's where charities and churches come in. That's probably too abstract an idea for you God-less heathens... that people give voluntarily to those in need. [hide=I love your gal Nancy Pelosi too,] She said this near the end of June, beginning of July... the extension was passed July 21st. Unemployment went from 9.5% in July to.... 9.6% in August to .... 9.6% in September to.... 9.6% in October to.... 9.8% in November... So much for creating jobs. [/hide] And don't talk to me about some conservative candidate from 1964, when LBJ is quoted as saying "Son, when I appoint a n-word to the court, I want everyone to know he's a n-word." Point being that political parties change their views and their positions over time. EDIT: That's different than wanting to end "America's empire," right? I guess I can't make the blanket statement "All liberals hate America" anymore <_< trololol
  13. Is it me or do all liberals hate America?
  14. Can you please link me to the survey that said half predicted problems? I wonder if there was a question if they had problems with it... I'd be willing to guess that 95% of all troops don't care the sexual orientation of their peers, and that the half that predicted there would be problems know one of those 5% of homophobes... DADT inherently discriminated against gays, just like "separate but equal" inherently discriminated against minorities. If DADT was a private business's policy, I'd have more problem with a law against that than I do with Congress repealing the federal government's stance.
  15. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/dec/21/wikileaks-cables-british-police-bangladesh-death-squad Damning to limeys. You brits need to get your act together, get your government under control! :twss:
  16. This years after-event allows you to do pretty much all past events as well, which is nice for new and old users alike. I'd say its my favorite Christmas event, but not my favorite event. Ghast hunting from Halloween usually takes that
  17. One GP will have a real world value. This will tie the game back to real life, and external pressures elsewhere in the world can affect the game's economy. Also expect no change in inflation - items will no longer be created and coins will no longer be created (only destroyed) through PVP. I wonder if they'll remove current PVP/BH worlds, if corrupt dragon items will be destroyed...

I cheated and watched it on webcast... but thats because the entire US midwest is covered in clouds right now.
  19. I wish tripsis would stop eating me... I guess that means that secretly I am this guy.
  20. You damn liberal.. Touché.
  21. Same question as "Does an omnipotent being have the power to make itself no longer omnipotent?" Obvious answer is yes, but why would it ever want to? If it creates that stone, it would cease to be omnipotent. If it can't create the stone because it is truely omnipotent and it can lift infinite weight, then was it ever omnipotent in the first place? (Obvious answer being no) EDIT - It does prove one thing though. Omnipotence is only possible for a limited time slot, until it does something like make itself not omnipotent. Or, in other words, absolute omnipotence is impossible Wiki Quote - The paradox states that if a being can perform any action, then it should be able to create a task it is unable to perform, and hence, it cannot perform all actions. Yet, on the other hand, if it cannot create a task it is unable to perform, then there exists something it cannot do. "Can but choose not" to is not the same as "can't". I see the whole issue as not the omnipotent entity having the power to create the stone, but the issue of the omnipotent entity limiting itself.
  22. I somehow see this coming around to bite you. You planning on having a "I told you so" moment, then?
