  1. Finally changing it to shoes/sandals. I own a pair of white and blue nike running shoes that I bought about two years ago. I can't seem to find them online :-? I also own a pair of $2.00 walmart beach sandals... funny I can't find those online either. I wear these when the temperature outside is above 45 deg F.
  2. Since the last post describing their dream home appears to be 4 days ago, I'm hereby changing this topic to boats. Mother Effa. http://www.suntrackerboats.com/boat/?boat=3348 Party Hut 30... looks pretty darn sweet. Party on my boat.
  3. You should give yourself a cool nickname, Connor "The Yellow Dart" Anima. And like, need to double... maybe triple space or something. add in figures 1 and 2 - man eating battery, man eating four batteries. Lastly you need to tape a bribe of a dollar and some spare change to the back. Can't no-one never say I did nothing for the people.
  4. That's funny.... CBS says it was 87, with a margin of error of 9.
  5. Developed a web application for work in javascript/html5... it looks pretty. Unfortunately due to the nature of my work, I can't post any of it here. :-#
  6. You could try going with users in each of the skill lists, I'd bet you'd get closer to 3-4 million unique users than just the top 2 million skill totals will provide. Of course you'd have to merge your lists, which may or may not be a problem.
  7. Java is a pretty good language. If you decide to use it, I'd suggest you stick with notepad or gedit and the command line until you get the hang of it. When you get done with the easy, basic stuff, and want to move on to GUIs I recommend you download netbeans (not before then, banging your head against the wall makes the experience stick).
  8. Thanks. Now that basically confirms that using armor of any type is just pointlessly stupid... (except for gaunts/boots since they boost str) And gratz Sees on 85 mining! I'm still working on mine <_< I won't be competing with you for iron ore for a very long time... I mined 42 runite tonight in the span of a little over an hour, in the wilderness. That's about 600k  , which included running back and forth to the bank. I wonder how difficult it is to find runite in the mining guild at obscure hours.
  9. Since I'm studying electrical engineering, most of my textbooks are pretty obscure, written by professors at Purdue or other large universities. I think that's how they subsidize their salary... This semester is relatively high because two of the books had new editions printed recently, and the professors were requiring those. Other semesters where the books were a few years old, I could buy new for about a 1/3 of the listed price.
  10. Leveled mining today to 85. Now there's only a handful of things I can't do in F2P - like crafting 10x airs or smithing rune platebodies. Yay me.
  11. He's a question - how will this affect the price of water tallies or (pure) essence? Someone at the RC guild can cash out their GOP tokens - 50 for a water tally, or 30-40 for an altar teleport. If people are paying 10k plus noted per load, water tallies should rise to at least that much (still a bit of time involved on the guilder's part which would drop the value a bit). I'd think it'd be the same with essence.

    Textbooks

My first semester at college I naively went to the university's local bookstore and bought all my textbooks there... one for each of my 5 classes, all new. I wanted to cry when the register rang up to $755. Since then its been better, looking on Amazon and such. This semester I had to buy 4 textbooks. The bookstore's price was $674 new, $516 used. I bought them all new on Amazon for $498, with free shipping. How many textbooks have you had to buy or rent (this semester and past semesters), and whats the damage been?
  13. Well, at least that is a pretty abstract idea to grasp. I still can't believe most people don't have the colored ferrets figured out. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Can you please move so we can unlock this door?
  14. You want to throw a great fully-functional device against a wall because of a pre-held grudge against Apple? :???: I admit, I never was an apple fanboy. It meant at most I'd poke fun at mac users, Apple never really did anything to wrong me. I was completely turned off when I learned that a week after I got my iPod OS3 came out, but I had to pay $20 to upgrade it. What the hell, I just got the damn thing and now I have to pay for a software upgrade... one of the *features* was cut and paste... Cut and paste isn't a feature, its expected. It also meant that all the new apps wouldn't be compatible for my iPod, which is complete bull. Luckily they didn't charge for OS4, otherwise I would've been really ticked off and probably actually chucked it against the wall.
  15. Don't you know that I'd build the taco bell inside my house, in the middle of nowhere? Definitely not a problem. I change the OP to reflect the new OP in the consumerism thread... and if that didn't make sense just read the first post.
  16. Changed the OP to clarify how I want this thread to work  That is all.
  17. Also, pray mage and only mage. Try to keep your avatar to the wall as well, so the warriors get blocked out. Only thing worse than getting piled by everything is getting piled by everything and being bound in the center of the room, with the leader 2 spots out of reach. :wall:
  18. Even if running does come back, I don't see this as a buyable skill (in the traditional sense). Compare RC with runners to say, crafting, magic, or fire making. The later all blow RC out of the water in terms of XP on the cheap (even with runners), and if you're willing to pay a little bit more, you'll get much faster experience. RC is still limited to how fast you can complete a trade.
  19. In a med to large dungeon, if there is convenient fractite ores I'll mine them and make armour at the earliest opportunity (smith it in the current room usually). The damage absorption that helm and legs provide really do make tanking easier, especially against lvl 60+ monsters. It also means I'm spending less time grabbing dusk eels and less interruption getting from room A to B, and more food to go around. Plus, my shared XP is always on, so you shouldn't mind getting free smithing XP
  20. 8 gb iPod touch... 2nd gen I think. Would love to throw it against the wall, because I hate apple. Don't use it at all, except when I reach my limit on Pandora.
  21. That's fine... Although we need a report function or PM thingy to help keep everything current. I'd want to live in the middle of nowhere, on some huge plot of land so I could do whatever the f--- I wanted to. An island might work as well.
  22. I'd probably have that TV and then movie theater seating, for a buncha guests. Plus, as everyone will tell you, bigger is better.
