Just today people were asking me "How do you get Jack Frost outta there?" I told them they had to hit him with snowballs  I didn't see them again.
-
I got HYT today, right after I finished the xmas event/quest. There I was seeing Diango, so I could get a snow globe and pelt snowballs at people. Outta nowhere - HYT. Meh. That's all I had to say. Meh. :P
-
I lol'd a little at that.

have you tried going diagonally?

My magic level is 75. I've been in situations where I'm wearing full rune and I'm up against someone who mages me. They had 60 mage, and about every other was a splash. Go figure. -sees

The reward xp is just for members, right? -
Not when those people are trying to read through the entire thread - in which case, it doesn't help at all. In that case, it almost makes you want to skip over what they're trying to say, because it's a nightmare to decipher. Especially when the block of text they're quoting is at least 5 or 6 lines, or 2 or more paragraphs. Break it up, otherwise your well-thought out, respectful post ends up in a [cabbage] heap.

Right now my combat level is 89. I will get it to 100, but no higher. Stats are in my sig, suggestions? ty. -sees

Figures I've got another rant. Anyhow, this upsets me. Figured out what it is yet? No? Ok, let me give you just a little hint. Got it? Good. I dislike reading stuff where every other line is blank space, where people use returns as punctuation instead of periods. If you have another thought, put it on the next line, but only press return once. Unless you're making a completely different thought, or paragraph. Go ahead, then put two returns. Anything other than that is superfluous. There is a handy "preview" button - please press this before posting. Then you can actually see if you pressed return too many times. Oh, and there's more to it too. I have to agree with reply1, with everything that he's saying. Although I do agree with your quotes point, that sometimes irks meI agree with reply2 - I hate it when people do this. I also thought about your third point, how color and size sometimes need to be removed, and yes, that upsets me tooThat thing about color - there's this great add-on you can get from this one company that takes it all away. You should consider it sometime. That's right - I've tried that, and its great. Also, I have to disagree with reply2 - it doesn't make sense when this happensYou're an idiot reply1 If you're going to quote someone, remove all the stuff you're not responding to. Also, take it by a point by point basis. It upsets me when you have to scroll through everyone's text twice, because someone has another point they'd like to add on, which happens to be about 2 lines in the last person's entry. It takes 2 seconds to delete text, but about 3 minutes to figure out what the hell they're trying quote. don't use this color, ever, either. There's no use for it. Same goes with this font size. I don't appreciate copying and pasting text into notepad to see what you've said.If you have to emphasize something, usually bold works! you don't have to make yourself big to be heard. An dis relly annoys me 2 whn u snd lik a friggin idit cuz u cant spell or u no uz punctuation nd u lik slang alott cuz its 1334 or sumting. Oh nd im gonna talk lik dis cuz i can jus 2 pruv 2 u dat i no how 2 spell real goodly. Seriously. Knock it off. Just had to let it out.

They care enough to stop someone from killing themselves.... although come to think of it, if they killed themselves, that'd mean a canceled subscription... and possibly around 2-400 moneys.... :

But we all agree that f2p mage tanks... well, only after cmb level 50 or so. However, we can't fix that... because its F2P!!1!! (note sarcasm). If Zuriel's staff didn't degrade, then about 1/2 the problem would be fixed. Or, if it took a much longer time to degrade, say 2-5 hours. The other problem I see is crossing over from Melee/Range armour, with no averse effects. Probably the a way to solve this would be to make Range armour hurt melee's attacks, or Range armour to not hurt magic's attacks. But I doubt this change will happen. If it did, maybe another 3/8 of the problem would be fixed. The last 1/8 is no KO ability, or the speed of casting. The speed could be slightly increased, and there could be specials. IMO this isn't a very big deal.

One thing - exactly when was runecrafting released? Here's my entire deal with this, f2p has a much larger base than members. I'm betting that around 3% of all accounts created are member, or have been member. If you consider that runecrafting is a f2p skill too, and of 100 million accounts, only 1,224 people have it.... that's about a thousandth of a percent of all accounts have 99 runecrafting. As for construction, let's be generous and say that there are 30 million members. That would mean that 3 hundredths of a percent have it - and 30 million was x10 more generous than my initial estimate. There's a similar number for summoning. Also, both of these skills have been out for less time, and in that less amount of time they've collected so many more skill capes. If no new skills are released, in the next 2 years, I expect that runecrafting will be #1 on the list, hands down.

But, yes, you are. You win the mind altar, and you can just stop. Not do anything. The unfair advantage comes from when the other players on the other team are still running around, playing like it matters. You gain advantage because they don't get credit, and they also waste run. I would like it if everyone reported the bug... Jagex doesn't even recognize bugs in minigames right now, so keep submitting reports until they do.

Alright, I'd like to know what you think are the hard skills, what are the easy skills. Put 'em in a list, and be prepared to justify it. Also, only go with what you know, for instance, I'm only f2p, so you won't see me putting agility on my list anywhere, nor will I argue with you why construction needs to be before runecrafting. We'll go hard to easy. [hide=My list, from hard to easy]1. Runecrafting 2. Crafting 3. Prayer 4. Smithing 5. Woodcutting 6. Ranged 7. Mining 8. Firemaking 9. Fishing 10. Cooking 11. Magic 12. Hitpoints 13. Defense 14. Strength 15. Attack.[/hide] Alright, what do you think, and what is your list?

Its not so much that he's attacking me, its the reason why he's attacking me. He starts hitting me afterward, and the discussion goes: me: Off? him: Nty. me: Off? him: No. me: Why don't you get off? him: cause you atk someone lower than you. At this point, he could have said pretty much anything else and it wouldn't have peeved me so much. Because I attacked someone lower than me. He could've said, free xp, or red pixels, or even, just cause.

What you're looking for isn't exactly "rights", more or less entitlements. We demand that you give us what we want! We demand that we can kill each other! We demand you make skilling easier! We demand ... ! Seriously though. Even if you do pay membership fees, you should not receive any rights. It's not like you own a bit of Jagex, as in shareholders, its more that Jagex owns a bit of you.

Here's to bug abuse, eh? I know that whenever I'm playing, I stop running at the mind altar. I also tell everyone else who's playing to stop trying too, because of the glitch.
-
IF person A is fighting person B - and person B reduces person A's health to almost nil, then person A teleports into varrock. Person C attacks person A, on the hopes of killing him right then and there. Person A dies - but person C doesn't get the drop. Why? Because Person B did the most damage. Hypocrisy: a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess. The first 3 are examples of hypocrisy. The last one, the tangent, is just annoying.
-
Now the question at hand - If, while knowing this information, you deliberately don't try at the mind altar, does that constitute bug abuse?
-
Do you get credit for the kill? No, you don't, because someone else lowered their hp.
-
I don't care that higher levels are attacking me. If you read the post, you might understand that. What bothers me is why they attack me. Until I become a level 126, your solution doesn't work. But I'm not going to keep arguing you, because as we all know, Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still [developmentally delayed]ed.

I started playing sometime in 2005. For arguments sake, I'll say my character is 3 and 1/3 years old. Call it 40 months. In that time, I could have spent around $200 for membership, faster training, better content, etc. I didn't. It was a personal thing - why pay for stuff that is free to me anyway. That's my own personal mentality. If I paid for a subscription, I'd feel compelled to play the game more, instead of pick it up for an hour, and leave it. Being 100% f2p is not an achievement. However, there are things to consider when comparing stats from members to f2p. First and foremost - a pure F2P has 1 agility. Every 7 seconds, they get 1% run back. This makes virtually all skills harder to train. Secondly - Worlds are always much more crowded on F2P. There is less space on a F2P, less sites for training, etc. When training combat this makes a huge difference. Third - Skills are much less "buyable." A good example would be prayer. Getting 99 prayer with F2P using BBs (350 ea) costs 303 million. Fourth - We can only carry 28 items. In runecrafting - Members have pouches, BoBs, etc. Last - Making money with F2P is [cabbage]. Probably most guides with "200k / hr + exp" or better are p2p only. Oh, and as a side point - I value my 62 f2p only runecrafting, probably more than I value my 89 f2p only str. Something about being ranked around 90,000; with members having RC about 5 times easier makes me feel good. That's something you members can't take away from me :P
-
ftw. I think I'll use that anytime that I'm really upset with another player - that made me lol a little.
-
Sorry, this isn't what I'm talking about. Go to world 61, win the air altar, and then stop trying. If the other team wins the mind altar, read the text at the end of the game - You'll have an extra win you didn't earn.
