buying unnoted ess at the wiz guild would mean a bunch of rc tokens, and then a bunch of an altar tablet, and a bunch of the guild tablet. Would make it so you could skip the banking process, and make running faster.

So, I have a few suggestions that might make the RC Guild a little bit better. 1. Practice. You would talk to any blue wizard, and click Practice. This would take you to a separate set of altars where you could practice. The portal would always be open to the next, and you wouldn't get tokens for your efforts. You could practice as long as you wanted, and This would cut down on the noobs. 2. Selling Unnoted ess as an option. Unnoted ess would cost 2 tokens each, but would allow someone to skip the banking process, making rc running 10 seconds faster. This would increase the functionality of the guild. 3. Allow guilders to recharge/add charge their FoG gloves there. This would cost ~500 to 1k tokens for 500 charges. This would keep it around the same difficulty to get gloves, and would allow a pair of FoG gloves to last much longer. This would also increase the functionality of the guild. 4. Fix the mind altar glitch, the invisible wall glitch, and orb nerfing. These are basic unwanted elements of the game that ruin it. Nothing is worse than having your entire team hugging an orb that's trapped behind an invisible wall. The mind altar glitch is frustrating to those who don't know about it. Orb nerfing is not defense, its bug abuse. Orbs should not be allowed to get out of a certain range from the mainland, on the water and fire altars. (Possible) 5. Have a highscore for players. This would allow you to know the legendary players. -I can see this as a drawback, I'm sure some of the people in the cc I join wouldn't want that. 6. Make RC guild rewards trade-able. This includes tokens, teletabs, robes, and talisman staffs. This would put a pricetag on these items, making it easier to profit from the RC Guild. -I can also see this as a drawback, it would make RC a "buyable skill". -Perhaps there should also be a level requirement, 30 RC for air tabs, 33 for mind... etc. Also 50 RC required for robes and talisman staffs. Thoughts? Discuss!

Interesting idea, but it would allow RWTing to start back up again... Imagine an army of lvl 3 macroers hugging the spot during a dead time, say 3-5 a.m. Each could carry 100k from woodcutting, drop it, and let the customer pick it all up.

That isn't what this discussion is about; in the OP I was referencing this: viewtopic.php?f=143&t=768537. If you would like to post your views on this, I suggest you do it there.

I'm thinking WGS rewards, lamps, etc. 99 untrimmed slayer would probably be more rare, as other skills must train with it. HP starts with a 1k xp bonus, so training controlled all the way theoretically would make it 99 before atk, str and def. Also you could add in range and mage for bonus hp xp.
-
I enjoy the GOP alot, I could see myself in 3-10 years in the future getting 99 rc, just because I like the mini game. I think it would be the same for people crafting nats for gp, they're not looking for rc exp, just the cash. 99 strength and 99 attack maybe for me, PKing is the other aspect of runescape I really enjoy. Maybe 99 mage on my nub account. -sees

Eh, I'd probably take a guaranteed $600. Meaning they get my account, I get 600... no repercussions, everyone goes away happy. Except maybe jagex. I think paying for textbooks for 1 semester would be the extent my account is worth. What I've gained though, the knowledge on how to level, where to level, etc. is pretty priceless, would make making a new account that much easier. If it was, how much money for you to stop playing runescape ever again, I think it'd be around 2-3k. This game is a lot of fun, when you sans the grinding.
-
I just made a new account.... Cloned Jesus. That's gotta be offensive to you too, right? I laughed a little bit as I was trying to figure a user name... originally I was thinking jebus... as in jebus saves, but it suggested cloned for one of them... and I was like... Cloned Jesus! and it worked! Hurray! If I ever have an account that goes member, I think Cloned Jesus will be it. Hmmmm.... now to figure out what I want to do with this gem.

shouldn't this be in bugs and suggestions? in before the move.... I think its a good idea.

I'm going to start reported posts from here on out that don't contribute to the discussion. If all you have to say is "F2Pers deserve nothing more" then you obviously have nothing to say, and you shouldn't be posting. Don't be surprised if your post gets deleted. OT: I'm semi-surprised that F2P got teleblock, but it does a little something to even out the combat triangle. Now if we could just get higher hitting spells, and a better bind. Remember, this thread is not about whining and complaining about "Why can't F2P have" - there's a rant for that. Its a discussion and a debate on what existing content should not be F2P, what P2P stuff could be F2P without destroying the member/non balance, and lastly the F2P stuff that desperately needs updating because not updating it would ruin certain aspects of the game.

Usually what I think I type, not sure if everyone else is the same. Usually I'll type Hi like Hai if I want to intentionally want to stress the nature of it.. or I'll say Herro instead of Hello. This is actually what I'm thinking. Sometimes its also to make fun of different groups of people, particularly the ooze that compfreak was referencing. Its also the difference for me between -yeah/ya/yes/ye/yep/yeppers -ok/kk/k/alright -hey/sup/yo/hai/hello/herro/hi -lol/haha/rofl/lmao But that's about the extent of the slang that I'll use consistently. If you ever see me speaking stupid, and want to quote me, you should probably put a [sic] by it, because it was intentional. Although if it bothers you that much, you should treat idiocy like you would any other [developmentally delayed]ed person - speak slowly and in small words.

Have you ever coded before? Ever try programming? Ever look at code? No? Oh ok. Then I'm sure you don't realize how easy it would be to switch over existing content from members to free to play. There are probably a few booleans here and there that are called member_only - and if they set it from true to false, viola, f2p happens. Did you even read the first post? I wish people could contribute to the discussion before being like "OMFG F2PERS NEED TO PAY TO GET ANY CONTENT" or "Jagex won't give f2pers anything, because they don't pay". That is not the point of this thread. If you don't want to suggest something that should be made f2p, how about you talk about something that shouldn't have been f2p? That is actually encouraged in this thread too. Just no more of the redundant butt-drool that every other post is.
-
Did you read this first post? Please, tell me something I don't know. Put some fresh ideas into the thread, instead of repeating the same butt-drool over and over again. ______________ I think the higher range equipment would be appropriate, and I've always thought that the f2p combat triangle is cabbage. Adding to what we could craft is an interesting idea. I think higher f2p range items would increase demand for current stagnant p2p items, and would bolster p2p money making. Are maple logs f2p? Woodcutting maples is something else I didn't think of; I'm not sure why we'd need maples though.

And this applies to RS how? orange ftw. Easier to eat once you have the skin off... tastes sweeter too. No need to worry about worms. Easier to eat without getting all sticky.

I'd like to write a rant. Cancer killing TIF -People who've had 4 drinks before they write GTFO -PeOPLES WHO TALK LIKE THIS GTFO -expert programmers who use 10 proxies GTFO -PEOPLE LYK THE SPELL'D LYK DIS CAUS YAH - GTFO -people who think they're all cool because they're all older and think everyone else is 13 GTFO oh wait... sorry

Yebno. Seeing that I've maxed out most of my F2P stuff, I don't get many more accomplishments, other than the WOOT, a level to 80... 90.... w/e. I got hooked on runescape after the kids I babysat for played, and ask me to play with them. I think they got hooked on runescape after I introduced them to miniclip. To me, I never felt much of a "community", but its hard to when there's 130 million different accounts. I think the most community I feel is at the GoP when I join up with some other TIFer's. But I got that from Tip.it, not from runescape. The things that I do miss are the random acts of kindness... the trade limit kinda restricted that, and at my level, who cares about 1k? I do however give stuff to levels lower than 30, but higher than 10, when I can. Also I like to help people mine their blurite when I'm chopping willows...

I'd like to introduce you all to the flying spaghetti monster. [hide=a picture of it][/hide] He's got bigger balls then most gods.

so today i was like... pvping and i had just killed some nub. someone then pj'ed me as i was picking up the drop. Oh woe is me, the lost lobsters and law rune... I had to tele out of there. So I think I must've lost like 2k or something... I can't believe it. :P but really, Idc about what people rant about... sometimes it makes me feel better hearing what stupid stuff happened to other people.
-
did they even cook sometimes? Lost of times when I assist someone they don't realize what the heck is going on and just forget to do what they originally intended... like you're supposed to do it for them :P. If not, that's strange.

Old PvP system (Wilderness) vs new PvP worlds
sees_all1 replied to cuppy's topic in General Discussion
I love the old wilderness and the new PvP worlds for different reasons. Then, I could be assured that at the very least I'd get all but their rune plate, or they'd tele. Now, I can be assured that I will get some random junk... not quite what they had, but similar. So, for that I like the old system better. But now I can actually train at Moss Giants in Crandor and get some decent xp, or cut yews without competition. -
I hate them too... but you know how to stop them from following you? You quit wearing noob magnets, and be polite as possible. For some reason, the internet knows no politeness, and when it encounters it, finds it puzzling. Oh, and fun areas - Dark Wizards south of Varrock, The varrock sewer, The hobgoblin mine, the lessers and greators... the stronghold of security... I could go on and on. But they won't last long in those areas, and you can go back to enjoy being a stuck up choob.

OMGWTF, spend more than 2 minutes on rs to make your cash!
sees_all1 replied to Panzerlord's topic in Rants
Why do you care about how people make their money? Its not like it matters anyway; they're not taking anything from you. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Unless you don't like making 100k's of gp easily with no effort... -
Ideas for New Items. Doesnt have to be good.
sees_all1 replied to PereGrin's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
What if you could dye your items instead... :P Would keep the prices the same, but reduce the limited variety. Heck, make the special dyes a rare drop, and the armour that goes along with it semi-rare. -
The drops are random... so you want Jagex to fix their number generator? Btw - how do you know what you're getting is crappy? You have no idea what the drop rate of items should be, and if you did you wouldn't complain, because you should know the Law of Large Numbers - after really large number of kills (at least 10,000), you can expect to get percentages equal to the actual drop rate. So if the drop rate of certain items is .1%, you can expect around 10 of them after 10k kills.
