  1. To be honest I thought there was more of a Star Wars reference. There was just something about the way Nomad looks that reminds me of the Star Wars saga. I had thought that as well when Soul Wars first was released. I also noticed the comment during the quest from Nomad saying "All to easy" which was made by Darth Vader in the "5th" movie. I suppose it could be a common phrase - but it was always Star Wars that I feel like that phrase has the most relevance towards. -Edit- .. beaten by above <_<
  2. I beat him on my 2nd try. It was all a matter of just learning his attacks, considering they're very predictable. My first attempt I took ZS with black d-hide and lots of brews/rests. ZS just wasn't hitting enough, and I couldn't even get to his berserker stage. I ended up running out of restores, so I sat there on 1hp for a while hitting zeros waiting for him to finish me off. My 2nd attempt I went with a whip + rune def and black d hide. This faired me a lot more and I was actually hitting decently. I also took a pony and used that when my tort ran out of supplies. I brought 5 sharks and saved those for his berserker fight. That proved to be invaluable. The other trick of the trade was to make sure I hid when he did his "75 damage" attack. Immediately when he starts throwing his mines, run and hide behind the farthest pillar. He'll come running up to you telling you to face him - so do it. He'll then tele back to his spot shortly after and tell you that you can't hide from him. Stand behind the farthest pillar again and his attack will miss. In the time he did that - I was getting back to full health - using my pure set again, and then charged him with claw specials. This tended to work out perfectly. Ended up with having about 5-6 brews left over. I also did it without Soul Split, and the only prayer I was using was Piety. Interesting quest to say the least. Curious reward though.
  3. She pretty much says something along the lines of... it wasn't her fault and couldn't do anything. She just teled away.
  4. I play on a pretty low end computer I suppose... bout 6-7 years old now. When I run RS on maximum with Firefox - my CPU is a steady 99-100% usage. When I run it on Very Low with firefox - its a steady 60-61%.
  5. Some of the earlier pictures that I have. Never took any of RSC. <_< [hide] [/hide]
  6. Figures, always the one person that likes to insult when he discusses. I wasn't aware I flew off any handle. I simply gave my opinion, to only be flamed by you. No, I didn't say I expected it to be free. I simply said I was disgusted that they have to go down to tricks of offering incentives like that to get more money. Like said, it's my opinion they do it for the money - not for our security. Seems like they're hitting 2 birds with one stone... but are they really? That's my opinion, and if you don't like it... well SORRY buddy!
  7. It's rather disgusting to see Jagex come out with something like this, mainly for the fact that they want to charge people for it. We already pay to play their game, and giving the possibility to buy something to keep our account more safe seems over the top. They should be doing that in the first place. It's clear they are only doing it for the money, and it isn't truly for the customers. What's even worse is that they're trying to make it more 'sellable' by adding more bank space with it. What does bank space and account security have to do with each other? It's just another ploy to get more money, with little concern for the customers. They're just trying to pretend they care.
  8. Hunt Chinchompas. I never train hunter because of having to constantly change 50 worlds to find a spot. All other skills I can deal with the competition... but for some reason.. not hunter -.-
  9. Yep, it is a rather interesting glitch. I experienced both sides of it a couple nights ago. A mage ran up to me and traded me while I was 4-iteming to get EP. I assumed he just wanted me to 25k for him, so I traded. He did nothing, then declined, and then teleblocked me. Then started to attack me. I even made sure I wasn't attacking someone completely different. Retaliated by kicking him, and got auto-skulled. Then one of his buddies tagged and jumped in to barrage. Managed to escape  and was glad I brought 5 monkfish. Then, later as I was trying to find people to 26k for me. I was continuously attacking people and then trading them to get them to accept 26k so I could get a drop. After about 4 kills, is when I got the glitch myself. The 1st guy I did it to noticed immediately and ran out. I then had my friend 26k for me, and I ended up making him skull with a bunch of barrows . Then of course I had to try it one more time on the idiot in full bandos getting EP :P . Needless to say, there's multiple people that I'm sure know about it now. The only thing I can really think that would have caused myself to get the glitch was the trading. Nothing else seems similar about the 2 situations. I doubt it will be around much longer anyway...
  10. Was just getting ep up, when I got a target. Target ran over and attacked me, risking nothing. Killed him: Got magic brawlers as well.
  11. Made a goal for myself that I couldn't train summoning until I got my own SS to use at wf  Bout time Zilly gave me something too -.-
  12. So you got your [wagon] kicked, and then you try to make a discussion about merchanting clans. LMFAO. GF really.
  13. When the Magic Secateurs were released, something went horribly wrong with them. I don't believe too many people ever found out about it, because it never got blown out of proportion. Essentially, they could 1-hit anything that you were fighting. However, the interesting part was that it didn't always 1-hit everything. Occasionally, there would be regular hits, and then out of no-where you would have an insane hit that you knew could never hit otherwise. I was messing around fighting the Other-worldly beings, and suddenly I hit a 66 with it (66 was/is the hitpoints of OWB). I never had the guts to go and fight anything else with them before they were fixed... but I heard rumors that it worked just the same on other players. I imagine the wild was a rather interesting place that day :D
  14. 1st one = Telling someone to get their own fricking spade to use at barrows. Yes, that is the exact word I used  2nd = Sexual Joke 3rd = Sexual Joke
