Why? Karils has +2 range def which is useful for protection from the 90's. In what ways is Black d'hide better that Karils top? OP has already said that he has any barrows set available. Black d hide has better melee defence then karils, which is primarily used for mage defence, but since you are praying mage, you will benefit more by having more melee defence from the black d hide, for tanking the healers.

Depends on what kind of monsters, boss monsters? You should aim your stats to 85+ melees, 80+ mage and if you plan to use range 90+ in that, also 70 prayer 70/88 summoning. Even with those stats it will be hard to kill them.. You can also try just training slayer and unlocking slayer monsters and getting money through their drops..

Only recently have I played for fun on rs, the first few years were a a joy, the third one on however it was a pure grind. Now adays, I do the one thing i genuinely like, which is ANYTHING with combat, hence my skills are particularly low and by low i mean like some still in the level 30s, being, 130+ apparently its not good for my level to have such low levels, and they say you should get 70+ and I go, why? Why would I want to train skills I dislike? I play for fun, so I will train what suits that :)

Okay, so right now, I plan to do around 18k bursts to get enough charms for 88 summoning, however I seem to have a dilemma, my finals begin on the 13th of april, so I will be off of rs for a few weeks, but until then, I plan to burst and get charms. Right now I have 11m in cash, which I want to buy a sol with, but is now a good time to buy it? I only have ahrims top at the moment, and no runes, so I would probably spend the rest of the week and get around 8mil for the rest of ahrims and some runes. My question is that should I buy the sol now, will it significantly drop in price in the coming weeks, even if I get it now, its a good investment no? Any sort of advice would be great, thanks :)

Really, unless you feel like you are not hitting enough or often as you would like, there is absolutely no need for them there. But hey, its all up to you.
