Hey I currently have a hood and Prom 2h, and seem to die at least once in some dungeons keying/ or just generally doing gds. I recently experimented with a Prom b ax and anti shield, and I like the results a lot more, because I noticed i wasn't getting hit as much as i was before. Of course I sacrificed some offensive strength but I didn't mind it that much where I was annoyed that I wasn't hitting. Anyways, would it be worth it to switch to a prom b ax combo with an anti, and switching my ring to the tanker class? I feel like that would be a great way to get some well needed defence since i always find myself dying...

Good luck! Just a tip, you should try using w148, I started using them when i was around 83 dungeoneering even thoough they are a 90+ world, i was still able to get onto teams, but I guess i was also 130 and hooded... but its a really big difference from w117!

Hey, well I have a few months before I go away for vacation, and I really wanted 95 or even 99 prayer. Is soul wars a viable option? If not I am planning on sticking to my original plan of frost dragons, my current level is 70. Ofc, I will also be doing kingdom and herbs.

Personally you should only weild a bow if you have a hex hunter, I think you should deff bind a melee weapon, best2h/spear you can, or maul in your case.

As far as essential slayer needs go, DFS is definitely not necessary :)

If your going to sell your BCP, dont buy a dfs, its only useful if you do a lot of wyverns. Instead invest money into summoning, prayer and herblore.

Well, I would love to get into tormented demons, its just that I feel as though getting quest requirements, not to mention finish all the quests I need would take longer then I would like. I only have about 140 quest points, and my biggest goal is to eventually max combat, I just need an effective way fund prayer. If its worthwhile, I guess my new plan would be to get WGS done then?

My melees are all 96, and I have 91 range. I'm thinking it will be better for me if i melee with supers right?

If you can get battle robes and a sol, if not ahrims will do just fine. 12 prayer potions, place holder for charms... in fact if you look at andy lax's guide in the AOW you;ll find everything you need.

Hey at the moment I am trying to get to 85 dungeoneering so I can unlock frost dragons, I hope to harvest/sell bones so I can do some much needed prayer levels. After reading some guides it seems as though you will profit more with yak, so i figured that should be my first priority, anyways I have some questions, and it would be great if i could get any advice and tips. 1. Are frost dragons still good money? I have 88 summoning, a rapier, but no turmoil or extremes, will getting a yak help me get more cash per hour, or am I better off just doing it without one and using a tort. I plan on using a cannon. 2. About how many charms are needed for 88-96, I figure I might get bored so i will continue to dungeoneer in between bursting trips/while I recharge battle robes. 3. I am currently 91 magic, Im sure there is a way to calculate how many levels/exp in total I should gain, and if anyone could either tell me how to calc ( im sure its something easy, just busy with school) or even calculate that for me that would be great as well. Er, thats all that I can think of at the moment, thanks in advance.

Yeah I am trying to get 200m dg atm but having some problems with finding teams, should have got 200m dg earlier... :/ w148 is good teams ^ hahahahahahahahahahahaahahaha

I did the majority of my strength training (and probably the remainder) through dungeoneering, so you should be able to get some decent exp on you way to 88 dg.

sell some gear, burst rock lobbs for mage/summoning, get 96 summon, go to frosts with cannon, harvest bones, get high prayer/herb max combat (doesnt have to be with slayer), then do whatever.

With the introduction of bunyips, and variations of the Excalibur, guthans is very out dated. Only use if you dont have either 68 summoning and or Enhanced excalibur.

As I just said on the other thread, 60-80 took me about 2 weeks doing nothing but dungeoneering, but I will admit it was during my winter break, so I did play a fair bit, but its entirely possibly in a few weeks of playing a few hours a day. Be sure to use 117 and do lots of larges, and to properly c1 floors, reset, and bind a SSH and a Prom 2H with beserker ring.
