  1. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there are no graphics cards with a terrabyte of ram, so make sure you know what you're talking about. What you probably mean is that it has one Gigabyte of ram in it. ;) Plus, I hope you play other demanding games because that card is insane overkill for runescape :P , since, all considered, 2gb of ram and a basic 512mb graphics card should be able to max out or nearly max out the HD version ;)
  2. Ok then, thanks for that confirmation  The other question on the abyssal heads still stands :
  3. What is the average drop rate for abyssal whips? ANSWERED What is the average drop rate for abyssal heads? (whether it be relative to whips or kills, I just want a number for an estimate : ) I know, I already have one whip drop, but that was through using wild pies at 83 slayer :-# . I just want to know since I camped them straight all of friday and last weekend and failed to get one of either of the two. Thanks in advance! :
  4. Unless you are tight on money, there is no reason not to train summoning. It is extremely useful in training combat and certain other stats since familiars give boosts. If you're that preoccupied with your "image" to other players to the point that you hamper yourself, there's a word you should learn, insecurity. Really, who cares if your combat is 110 and someone else is 100 since you have summoning? Once you get a chance to beat them, you get to slap them across the face and stop them from being so ignorant. Other than the duel arena argument, there is no downside whatsoever to raising summoning.
  5. One thing though, if you know how to build a computer yourself, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do so since you will save a good $100-$200 on a decent system when compared to buying an equivalent at Best Buy. I haven't checked, but I wouldn't doubt that there are videos of it on youtube, you might want to do a little learning ;) Good luck OT: I dont think its worth quitting because of mere graphics, if the game is entertaining to you, keep playing :
  6. Not sure about right now, but its best to buy during the month after christmas since they are being flooded into the market, and sell just before christmas. If you buy it right now, I still think it would be a good investment, although I would wait until the price just starts creeping upward so that you have bought it at the lowest possible. ;)
  7. http://www.scape-xp.com/runescape-high-alchemy.html It shows basically all items that can be alched for a profit or minimal loss, just plug in the current nature rune price. Realize that most of the items are weapons and armours so they are held by the 100 per 4 hrs ge limitation. Happy alching :
  8. There ARE safespots... There are too many people who believe otherwise and are totally wrong. The northeast and southeast corners of the area with two tortoises are safespots due to the columns along the walls that come out 1 square. Can't provide a pic atm since I'm nowhere near there, but test it out yourself and add it to the guide : EDIT: Just got a chance to go there, here are the pictures for proof and use in your guide if you like : [hide=] [/hide]
  9. Considering your stats, whip+def will probably perform better. If you end up using another type of shield (no atk bonus), then the SS would do better.
  10. Use the monster hunting guide for it. I've used both of these loadouts (changed a little on how much food though) and they were extremely effective. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=mith_drag ... tm#methods Happy hunting! :

EDIT: bladewing said it first :P
  12. I own a dfs, but I will try to be unbiased in this... From my experience, if you do slayer a lot with a slayer helm/black mask, or fight undead with a salve ammy, the dfs wins. If you fight normally without at least a 15% stat boost, the defender is better than the dfs since you will hit 0's like crazy with the dfs ;)
  13. All you need to know http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... _robes.htm
  14. I'd say kill a different highwayman. There are about 3 or so if I recall correctly, so kill them all once, and it is bound to trigger the diary, I've got that part accomplished myself :
  15. As far as I know, fishing salmon/trout is the fastest, but you don't make much money (Ideally done in Shilo). Otherwise, I'd say fishing lobs would be fastest in Catherby before 68, then in the Fishing Guild. Monkfish offer very good xp, better than lobs, but you need to do Swan Song first. Hope this helps :
  16. I know for a fact that you CAN'T use broad bolts with Zanik's Crossbow unless they changed it recently (EDIT: Just checked and you still CANNOT use broads with Zanik's Crossbow). Back on topic... I'd say stick with the rune c-bow since the ranged bonus is higher, and you can use broad bolts, which will give you very good hits for the price. If you can't afford broad bolts or you don't feel like spending the money, then and only then do you use Zanik's with bone bolts ;)
  17. Back to the OP's question... I would say no to the ring, mainly because you don't have the crafting lvl (75) needed to make it :P It would be kinda pointless to spend the 300 points now when you cant reap the rewards at all for a while at least :
  18. Should be 100, that applies for all armors and weapons
  19. Jade vine is more like once every two days, since it takes a long time for it to grow to the "Check Health" point, and then another day to reach wild status. :
  20. That would be Shilo Village ;)
  21. What is the most stable, pricewise, junk from fletching that I can make at my current level? I think it would be Maple Longs (u), but I'm not sure :? I know making money normally is faster, but I need junk to lend out my sgs when I'm skilling, so don't bring up that argument :-#
  22. If your inventory is full, it gets dropped on the ground (just happened to me today), and I don't think the reward is lessened if your inventory is full when you get it, since it just wouldn't make any sense
  23. search youtube, there's probably a video there ;)
  24. Cosmics = 143 ea (x2 = 286 per essence) Nats = 216 ea Cosmics will give you a nice profit of about 70 over nats, per essence. The downside is that you don't get as much xp with cosmics when compared to nats.
  25. +1 Melee is only worth it though, if the equipment slots that the void takes up provide less than 10% str boost, since the attack boost is not too noticeable... Also, for mage armor, go with ahrims if you have the money, if not, stick to basic mystic ;)
