Say what you will, but no one could ever successfully occupy the US for a long period of time, simply because of the number of armed citizens who would make life hell for the occupiers.

Damn, I should have bought some Australian money a few years when it was at .60. In my opinion, the quality of music would likely increase in a business model where everyone pays $5 a month, and the money is distributed based on popularity and unique listeners.

Goddamnit I really want to be able to get into EUIII, but I can't get the hang of it. I don't get how people could find Victoria confusing compared to it. Ill second the AAR recommendation.
  4. Ill make a list, just pm me when it's my turn, otherwise ill forget.
  5. I have the AoE2 gold .iso on my old computer, but I have no clue how to host a game.
  6. I will never understand how people can stand desktop icons... Is the file on a removable drive? That's all I could think of.
  7. Strange then... Maybe dell gave you slow HDDs or low frequency RAM.
  8. Unless I read wrong, the hp has a 5570, while the ibuy has a 5770, which would be a big difference. Either way, I'd reccomend getting someone here to make a build for you, and take it to a local computer store (not bestbuy, but a place that does custom builds). It'll cost a bit more than doing it yourself, but the computer will still be better than a prebuilt. By network, I mean a work network where everything is stored on the servers.
  9. Are your work computers on a network? Networks can butcher the speed of a computer.
  10. I wasn't singeling HP out, I was just replying to jrhairychests post where he said he prefered HP. Dell is the best manufacturer IMO, but you certainly pay for it.
  11. I wouldn't touch HP either. They get packed full of so much crapware it's almost funny. They also use low end motherboards, which have no room for expansion. if you don't want to diy, try and find a local computer store that will build one for you. It may cost more, but you will get a computer with the specs you want. 4 gigs of ram is good for any game out there today, I'd take the more powerful processor (gaming wise) and the better graphics card any day.
  12. Starter is a giant scam to get you to upgrade. Unfortunately almost all netbooks come with it. Try starting a new document, and copying the slides over.
  13. I find it funny how people hate on Gateway, but generally like Acer. Gateway is owned by Acer, a Taiwan based company. Too many people on the internet get one bad computer, and go on a crusade against the company who made it. As for those computers, x6 is overkill. In gaming, a 3ghz x4 will destroy a 2.6ghz x6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227288 Good for the price, although buying from iBuypower can be risky.
  14. You *should* never get a main door that requires a skill you don't have. Ive had members skills and higher than my level skills on bonus doors when soloing though.
  15. It's not that I can't afford members, if I subscribe i'll become addicted again. I was addicted awhile back, but I was in grade school and all my friends played it. Now I actually have homework, on top of other activities, xbox, and hopefully a job soon. When I say I play casually, I mean I log in a few times a week when I have nothing else to do. If i got a membership, Id feel like I had to play every day. I just wanted to try the free trial for fun. Anyways, what are some good quests for me to do. Ill likely try all the ones you need to unlock skills, but other than that, I have no clue.
  16. Where are they? I can't seem to find them on a map or in the dung. guide.
  17. I let iTunes rape my music collection by accident. Now i'm too lazy to go through 10,000 songs and organize them, considering I only have about a tenth of them on my ipod
  18. Hate to threadjack, but how do you get to these dungeoneering resource dungeons? Is there a level req?
  19. Try running on software, instead of hardware. If the issue stops happening, you have a problem with your graphics card. If not, try deleting the RS cache that gets stored on your computer.
  20. Do moss giant or lesser demon runs on karajama = Fish lobs, cook, train, sell loot, rinse and repeat.
  21. Thanks for the advice. I'll probably try out slayer, do some quests and try some minigames. Not sure about the prayer though, I only have about 300k in my bank right now, and I don't play enough to get more quickly.
  22. Aim assist only exists in campaign though? I preordered from Future shop, because you don't need to have an adult with you when you pick the game up.
  23. Are there any mid level (around 80) monsters that give good drops?
  24. I've been playing RS casually over the last month, and saw that they are offering a free 1 week members trial. I have a Prepaid credit card with a few bucks on it, so I figured I might as well give it a try. Thing is, I have no clue where to even begin. I don't plan on continuing membership, so I don't want to get a whole bunch of members objects I wont be able to use. One one hand, Id kind of like to try some members only stuff out, but on the other maybe I should just train f2p skills, but in the faster members only ways. tl;dr - Help me decide what to do on my 1 week of membership. My stats - a bit out of date.
