You had quite a bad fall at your national address and have been in a coma for he last three days". "So it's still 2201"?,he asks, confused. The woman, who he now could tell was a nurse, chuckled. "No, silly, it's 2010. Now it's time to get back to your palace. The people await you." Most of you probably don't know/remember me. I am trol_slayer9, ex ruler of the once glorious nation of Kazakhia, from the original Hegemony. Earlier today, I was reading through the old posts of the Hegemony, and remembering how great it was. Then I thought, why not atleast try to bring it back, this time with a dedicated moderator and A few more guide lines. This is just a suggestion topic to see of anyone is interested in playing/moderating, and to get feedback on how we could make it better this time. Once again, feel free to lock this if there is no interest, I just want everyone opinions.

Idea: time is circa 1800. every player chooses an empire from that period in time. the only difference is The Americas have not been discovered, Australia hasn't been discovered, and no african colonization south of the Sahara has happened. if we get too many players for everyone to have an empire, they can play as colonies. this would create interesting new scenarios for colonization of the new world. the rules would be like hegemony 1, with a bit more attention to detail required. you would need to post a fairly detailed report every day, and it MUST include cultural happenings. However, there would be no points for building system, no defense zones, and no unit strength/attack/defense bs. instead we would need common sense, intelligence, and a dedicated moderator to resolve issues. we could also beg the OT mods to put up a recruitment sticky for us in the OT. (id prefer to be in the OT, but the powers that be dont approve...) OnTopic: If the NWO still exists, they can have all kazakhian lands. if not, ross and sepherus can split them up.

Ive only ever had 1 pair, the ones that came with my iPod (almost 2 years old). And i put them through hell. Although the left one keeps coming undone from the casing, so i may need new ones soon... However, if you need new apple ones, look around for old ipod shuffels. my friend found one for $25, while the apple earbuds are $40 alone. I think he just smashed the ipod after.

Sorry i havn't posted in a while, ive been busy with school and stuff. I would like to propose a trade to brazil. I get west coast of America, Britist Colombia and Manitoba for both my planets and all of current kazakhia, including the tip of somalia.

sounds like too many. On other RP's i've played, they have a IC Main page, an ooc/debate page, an Atlas thread (each player posts their nations overveiw there), a map thread, and possibly a new thread for major wars. Also, they have a rule that everytime you post about your army, you have to say 1 thing about your culture.

Wow Hex, i think thats the first thing i agree with you on. Im sticking to this thread, i dont like how the new one has so many rules.

Im going to stick to the old hegemony, this game is too much like a watered down text based game of civilization.

so if each town is one square, that's a pretty small map...

could you PM it to me its just a blown up, blurrier version of the front page one?! are you going to use a grid less map for filling in land ownage? otherwise borders are going to look stupid, like civilization ones but worse. and good luck filling in coastal squares.

how about an earth map with an alaska-russia land bridge?

Question: whats wrong with just using a map of normal earth? Is it really necessary to use some mushed Pangaea map? I may join, things seem over-structured for my liking.
