Computer Advice...
Yeah, 2 580's on a 650w psu is really testing your luck, I'd go with a 850w or even a 1000w just to be on the safe side. Just to add to what acdc posted, you don't need the two cards to be identical, just the same model (You can mix an ASUS and an EVGA card, but you can't SLI a 580 with a 570 afaik). They both will run at the clock speed of the slowest one though, so no point buying an overclocked one if your first one is only stock.

Starting computer for the first time
Did you remember the thermal paste on your CPU Heatsink? I doubt the processor would overheat that fast, but I thought it was worth a mention.

Tip.it August Challenge
I tried doing the 10 per post with sit-ups, but it became too much of a pain to get up, sit on the ground and do them every time I posted. I still do 30 before bed though. There's no way in hell i could give up pop, I drink probably about 1-2 litres a day. I guess I could go with read more, I read a lot if I have a book to read, but I don't go to the library that often. Anyone have any suggestions?

The Back Room
I was genuinely worried after coming here a few minutes ago. I thought you'd gone all nazi-mod on us and decided we didn't need an offtopic thread.

Hegemony
Yeah, before my estimate of 16 pages too. The tavern just can't handle an unstructured hegemony anymore.

I have to agree with mather and icu, most memes are funny if executed properly, just not when some idiot goes around spouting them because he thinks it makes him funny. Rickrolling actually comes from 4chan though. The word eggroll got filtered to duckroll, and people started misdirecting others to sites with an image or video of one of those pull duck toys. Somewhere along the line someone came up with the idea to rickroll by sending people to that Rick Astley song. Youtube didn't create it at all.

Which OS?
One thing, if you can find the Professional oem version for only say $20 more, go for it. The reason? You can't disable that [developmentally delayed]ed automatic restart prompt after windows updates unless you have access to group policy, which Home Premium doesn't. You can change a registry value so it won't actually restart, but the annoying prompt still comes up every 4 hours.

Your bad habits... in Runescape.
I thought I was the only one who compulsively sorted my inventory. I do the same when cutting ivy, nests on the left two columns, seeds on the top of the right two, and rings on the bottom. Eggs I don't bother opening because you already know what's in them. I also hate leaving slayer drops on the ground, especially stackables like seeds. I hate spending money on skills, so I tend to go for slower methods that profit or at least break even. That's why I'll probably never get my construction level up.

Saints row: The Third
Yes x 1000. The second one was so much fun, and I really enjoyed the references and jokes they put in it. If they fix the glitches, make the world more populated and make the endgame more fun it would be amazing.

*Posts obnoxious amounts of porn and the like* I might apply for crew, I've always wanted to learn HTML and it'd give my runescape addiction a purpose. I'm terrible at filling out applications though.

Computer Advice...
We can help you with builds and such here. It really isn't difficult to do, just grab a book on assembling a computer and search for a couple online tutorials, and you should be able to figure it out. Ask your professor if you need a workstation graphics card or if a normal one will do, and what kind of specs your computer should have before you buy anything though. EDIT: Yes, I face palm every time I see a computer being sold with any multiple of 3gb RAM. (Excluding socket 1366 i7s, but I've never seen retail machines with them anyways)

Norwegian Ambassador claims that terrorism against Israel is morally acceptable
I like how people bash Israel for maybe being a bit excessive in fighting the Palestinian terrorists, then ignore how the rest of the middle-eastern countries treat non-Muslims, or what Palestine would likely do to Israelis if they were in control of the region.

Behind the Scenes - August
I hope they don't wreck Edge like they did Draynor. I can barely stand going there anymore with the blue tinge. The temple trecking update sounds good though, I may even do priest in peril to unlock the region for it. Was I the only one hoping for a vinesweeper update though?

New to Runescape... somewhat.
I was told Rune scim<Dragon long by a few people. I'd recommend getting at least 30 agility at gnome agility course, it helps enormously with getting around. You're going to want to get a couple more magic levels for the Camelot tele, and eventually do plague city for Ardognue tele. Training fletching is pretty easy, make shafts south of the GE till 15, then buy/cut logs into bows till about 45, when you can consider doing arrows/bolts, depending how much you're willing to spend. Thieving is pretty straightforward, you want to do men till you can do baking stalls, then stalls till master farmers. Slayer is pretty simple too, at your level you'll want to get tasks from vanakka in the edge dungeon. Herblore can be expensive, but if you want to get it to 30 you can do it relatively cheaply with attack potions. Farming is a bit more complicated, so I recommend you read tip.it's guide, as it's quite helpful. As for summoning, hunter and construction, I haven't really touched those so I can't say.
