The thing you can do is have spare batteries next to your pc. There should be a little LED that will bleep or whatever to indicate that it's running out.

CoD4 is one of the most demanding games out, you need a fairly decent pc to run it on minimum settings. I'd say unless you're prepared to do some major upgrading, or pay for someone else to do it, and the parts to upgrade, you might as well just get a new pc.

I don't really think it's necessary, you can still understand what people are saying, even if they do have poor grammatical/spelling skills, or use leet speak. If they've posted entirely in 1337, report it and a mod will tell them to translate it.

Pixelling here pretty much stopped with the trade updates on RuneScape. Hiimben is probably the best pixeller here, Unoalexi, too. Mainly now the themes are photography and signatures made with Photoshop, GIMP etc.

Much like Nadril and some others, I came along to use the quest guides or similar, and found myself posting regularly in the Gallery. My first 700-800 posts probably are almost exclusively in the Gallery. I remember only one time when I posted somewhere else, but I did it wrong and it got locked :oops: so I stayed away and went back to the Gallery again. Tip.It and the Gallery really inspired me to get Photoshop and start practising graphic design. I'd considered it as a career for a while, but now I realise I'd just like to keep it as a hobby.

It could be that some images are jpg or gif while others are png. The png images, if they were transparent, will come with a black background, which would have been transparent in the original. Try saving the images to your pc, then opening them in gimp/paint.net etc, that might fix it.
