You dont have to buy all at once. You can buy just 1k steel bars, then sell the c-balls, then use the $ to buy more steel.Gold is much faster, but you lose a lot of money.

Shortbows are faster. They have the exact same ranged bonus, as longbows. Longbows can shoot farther, but a shortbow is better in my opinion, because distance isnt really necessary most of the time.

Those and treasure trails items are the only ones i know of. Totally horrible. Only way it COULD work if it cost 10 of every rune, was p2p, and required 95 mage, and could not be used in teh wildy, at alters or withing 20sqs of one, near any monsters, or within 50sqs of a mining, fishing, or wcing spot. Makes it useless? Yes, that is the point.
