Even taking out just a few letters, whether it be to save time or because of a typing mishap, can confuse people. When chatting with a sibling using a chat application(not in Runescape), I find that when they frequently spell words incorrectly(or use shortcuts) it only confuses me and frustrates me. And I don't think you should be called stupid for not knowing Chatspeak. I don't know of anyone who was raised on that, they've always taught me English at my school. And using bad grammar and making spelling mistakes is a sure-fire way to make people ignore you. It is "unattractive." Who would you rather help out? (Let's just pretend you're a slightly helpful person for this scenario) Person 1: "Cn u shw me wear Varoc is plz?!?!?!" Person 2:"Can you show me where Varrock is please?" The answer is obvious. I believe that typing out your words is a sign of maturity and makes you look smarter too. i understand what you are saying and no one should be called stupid for not knowing chat language but since person 2 looks smarter and more mature that would mean person 1 is most likely younger and more in need of guindece from an rs seinor. ......i think :uhh:

i dont mind them unless i cant understand what they are saying, example: Buying water runes - perfect Buy watr runs - acceptable 13uy \/\/473r Ru/\/3z - wtf?

i know this sounds stupid but before i fight with ppl ill warn them that i may safe and i dont give a !@#& about it. :thumbsup:

i would be satisfied with any symbol to show off a 99 skill, it doesnt have to be as flashy as a mem skill cape it could be just some simple boots that show 99 in a certain skill so that ppl stop thinking that you are lieing when u say i have 99 [ insert skill ]...

i will probably get shouted, flamed or wateva but i belive getting any skill to 99 for a f2p is more admirable than some p2p skills, even though u cant show it off with a fancy skill cape.

they will never block the word NOOB ......that word brings so much pain :cry:
