why would he do that??? yews are a lot slower then maples and there is a lot of competition. 71 isn't really that high to train wc on yews, i'm 77 and i don't find yews either good xp or good money compared to my other skills Because of efficiency.

70, it shouldn't cost that much, maybe 5-10m which anybody can make reasonably fast. Get you combat stats up, again shouldn't be that long.

Xp rate is much lower. He's much better off at maples than Yews. Teaks>willows>yews>maples

For example, I'm pretty much just training combat right now, when before I hated it. Just do a skill you enjoy.

You can severly cut their max hit by wearing the correct armour. Think is was a wooden square shiled is a fremennik something... Anyways, yeah, I would get a decent amount of crush bonus. But than again, just wear standard armour, you should know what it is.

I honestly don't see how it matters. Train a stat you like, and try to train it pretty high before you quit.
