Keep bandos+dfire shield, or get sara gs? Answered
The problem. 1) Bunyip lowers your combat xp by a lot more than people think. Combat familiars give HUGE amounts of xp. 2) B2P... bones takes time, money, and a cleared inventory to use. Plus, most monsters don't drop bones. 3) Guthan's is by far slower than the whip. Many would say DFS, but they simply do not understand that DFS IS NOT GOOD FOR SLAYER. Rune defender gives by far more xp, and Bandos is great, but it is only (very) slightly above Barrows. However, you must consider how strong DDS specials are. In the end, SGS also has a Prayer healing affect. This means you can 10% str with a couple Prayer pots a task (1-3), and with Verac's skirt and a Barrows top (or a Bandos top when you can afford it) it would speed up your tasks, especially if you use a Combat familiar at the same time. Tl;dr: * DFS is not good for Slayer, Rune defender is better. * Bunyip isn't that great. * SGS is great, along with 10% str. * Bandos is overrated... it's good, but not all that it's made out to be. Get SGS. QFT.

Crazy has the ability to john about everything... You can't john about Pit/lucario, it's impossible. Ness is plain awesome if it wasn't for his infinite grab release. He's too good, his air game is too good. Caxis, way too laggy. I seem to be doing that a lot lately.

Why fix what's not broken? And he doesn't have lagess godlike airgame... Double teaming naturally happens to the best player, it's subconsious, trust me. Anybody want to brawl?- Smash Club.
Good ol' days in Melee when the Knee of Justice's hitbox consumed his whole body. Now, it's just his Knee. Something must be wrong.- BabyPunchers' Guide to Range-Slaying
Just add a section that says which is better and why, and the lit of tasks which it is better for.- Waterfiends - Much Crimson charm per hour?
It's around 100. I've heard of 120 from Dharokers + Piety, but I personally average at least 100. I use Piety, which an average player should do. Just GWD later.- Smash Club.
Mindgame falcon punches are serious business... Has anybody tried a b-reversal 180 falcon punch? Edit: You can tell how good a player is offline once you played as much online as I have... I know Caxis does better than Crazy over wifi, but I think Crazy is better offline. I play offline more (call me crazy  ) and I think I'm much better offline. If I felt like it, I could go pwn at a tourney. Not shy at all, but I don't feel like going to a Smash tourney.- Smash Club.
I remembered when I 3 stocked... everybody... Now some of you guys can beat my Snake occasionally, and beat some of my other chars consistantly... Anyways, if we do do a league, why would be make it slanted? It's suppost to show who the best is, but when I come to think about it, I know it's Me, Mano, Crazy/Mac/Caxis, (Who'se the best here?) and the rest in the order I'm too lazy to spell out. There is this one lastttt thing I would like to say. It's that, well... I enjoy serious matches more. Sorry, I had to say it. Call me a loser. :ugeek:- Pantim's Simple Guide to Efficency
A lot of it is common sense, but this could be useful to those who ignore math. You seem to have forgotten the most important part of the guide, which is the formula. This took a bit of thinking, beleive it or not... You don't have to quote it, you can just put it in your guide if you want.- Smash Club.
QFT No u. Since when could a Caterpie defeat a Mewtwo? :o Your mother. Uhhh... Are we seriously going to make leagues? No pokemon though...- Smash Club.
I did, and I thought you remembered that I posted before... A hitbox is basically a range of an attack. A ranged attack is called a disjointed hitbox. A attack that is stronger at a tip/inside/certain point is called a sweetspot.- Smash Club.
Basically, just because it doesn't affect the game as much as items, it can not be ignored and put in a whole different category. They are both diversions, and thus should be taken out IF POSSIBLE. In real tourneys, this isn't really necessary as there are rules that regulate and exclude a lot of luck, and add in the skill called "counterpicking" (yes, it's considered skill) , but on WiFi with no CP system, there is no need for CP Stages. I don't see any counter to this, besides "I want more stages available." There is no cp system... this basically means CP stages would be determined by luck (Wii randomizes), adding even more luck. CP stages are by far more benefitial to one character than neutral. (obviously) So... What didn't I read?- Smash Club.
I see... Because it's not as hard hurting as items, it's fine. No. Ray, instead of calling us crybabies, why not read? THERE IS NO COUNTER PICK SYSTEM.- Smash Club.
Gym leaders?! I call Brock Obama!- Smash Club.
Whether the majority is incorrect is up for interpretation, as you must remember that there is no cp system. Let's just use neutral stages and end this debate?- Smash Club.
Woot, another Snake...r. Soma, I skimmed your post, but I see you didn't with mine. I said that stages with hazards are allowed... but in a tourney of this size + no CP system in place, it's not unreasonable to say that there is no need for all stages. Battlefield, Final Destination, Smashville, Yoshi's Island, Castle Siege, Delfino Plaza, Lylat Cruise, Pokemon Stadium (Melee) should be the playable stages. For example, Corneria has extremely small edges, meaning that it's extremely easy to kill with Snake/GaW and other chars with nice up-kills. I'm pretty sure some chars can 1hk0 Jiggly consistantly... Sure, if you lose, you should be allowed a counterpick. Hazards are definetely not the only criteria for a ban neither, obviously. We didn't deny that, but that's not the point we're debating on ATM. If we were, we would be discussing * Stage hazards * Edges * Unfair advantages And much, much more, but we don't even have enough intelligent posters anyways. Or, ones who have a pure SWF view, nor do we really need them. Why can't we just simplify it and just allow for Neutral stages? Seriously, all this is unneeded really, this is not a real tournament with no lag, a counterpick character/stage, etc. And seriously, Soma, you've been coming here and bashing us for having tournament each and every time. Sure, it's not as active as before, but I don't see why we shouldn't be allowed to do a tourney, or even looked down because of it. It's not like we're forcing people to play. However, we could do a league. We'd put me top, mano second, etc etc and then we'll keep shaping it to better form the skill, more than a tourney could. I don't know, a league seems like a good idea, and is more competetive and adds a less luck factor (eg Crazy running into Me first, and he loses to Ginger in losers because Ginger fought Mano although Crazy is clearly superior than last place...[Not saying you're worse, Crazy. Just an example]) Also, a league is much more constant and gives people more reason to play, and this is a pretty small community so it is extremely easy to manage. I'm in favor of this idea > tournament. \ - Slayer inventory w/ bunyip
Combat familiars + Guthans > Bunyip at higher level summoning. Maybe ~79 ish. You really don't need food with most tasks if you have a Bunyip, but combat familiars add a lot of xp. At least use it on cannon/multi tasks, where whistling doesn't require too much attention.- Smash Club.
I did, and I thought you remembered that I posted before...- Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!
Mage would splash far too much to be worth it. @ the Sum guide response, can lv 90's even get Zombie Slayer tasks?- Smash Club.
If you take off those 2, those are basically all the neutral stages, which is what I recommend as there is no CP system in place. I was comparing items to the stage hazards - they both should be omitted, at least with no actual CP system. The stage changes the game in the same way as items. Are you telling me applying a sword in game doesn't require a bit of skill? Of course it does. But you know what affects the application of the sword more? Luck. Same with Chimera. It could instantly put you from an offensive position to a defensive (very bad for say, DDK/Luigi) or even death. Plus, the super extremely high ceilings makes it impossible to play anyways. Never ever will this game go out of style, Melee never went out of style for me.- Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork
Don't know how a lower leveled could get to Sophament fast enough to make it a efficient slayer task, but I'll check it up later. Thanks.- Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!

Add to that the really annoying factors. Castle siege isn't banned. Some stages are added to add a lot of variety, but we don't need that much here... so why not ban the stupid yet legal stages? - Smash Club.
