Snake has broken range, high priority, and speed... that I agree. Yes, he does a good job at controlling the field. However, you can't count one factor and forget the rest. He does have a very (one of the most if you're decent...) gimpable recovery and his airgame sucks. Also he is tall... The problem with him is, when it comes down to fact, he has a lot of weaknesses, unlike MK. He has an extremely hard time against Falcos, and all the rest of the high tier... while he is the second strongest, it's only by a little. (Unlike MK which is basically undefeatable.) He has what you call soft counters... which basically means has around a 60:40 chance to lose, which is reasonable for a counter pick. MK has no counterpicks, and the only character that has even a 50:50 is MK himself, which destroys the metagame, which is why SBR is considering a ban, or at least a soft ban. Captain falcon is technically the weakest character in the game. He has a bad recovery, he has no prioirty on his attacks (Makes power insignificant, and the speed not enough) range is sub-par, hard time finishing now, as his ko moves are too slow and lack priority, high traction = bad shield grab, he already has low options out of a shield as it is, (This part is mostly Melee) ect. No, you can't. Only an idiot will fall for that... there are no true combos in brawl. (Besides infinites...)

No, I mean it's ironic because he is the weakest character in the game. (Lowest priority is his main problem) Don't use Ivysaur if you don't use all 3, but Usmash sucks. To get one to hit, you have to be extremely good at predicting your opponent... (something I boast in :) ) Ivysaur... I'm not really sure, but he has an extremely good anti-air game.

Rofl, I find that so ironic and [developmentally delayed]edly hilarious... But I guess I'm ok with Falcon... we'll play sometimes.

Waterfiends: Weapons!
Because its nearly half the price? Still, if you have that much money you're obviously smart enough to know how to make cash.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Brawl - Hopefully the last game in a while. ing it.

Waterfiends: Weapons!
If you can't afford a Zam spear, why would you get a Zerker combo? Just save up and get a Spear if you can, but if you can't, just get a Flail.

Marth is known for having almost no bad matchups, along with Lucario. There are much more important threads on Smashboards than those 2, I suggest you read them. Edit: As I've said before, Snake has bad matchups for most characters! This means if prop over 9000 goes through (ban metaknight) Snake has a good chance of falling below GaW. Snake has a half decent matchup with Mk compared to other chars... if he's gone, he loses his dominance. Snake isn't cheap, by the way.

baby dragon bones?
Too much, and the reward sucks. Kill Green dragons in the Chaos tunnels instead. viewtopic.php?f=180&t=731302 Don't use the ecto, use the Gilded altar. It is by far faster, and at the cost of 1/8 the xp. Trust me, Gilded is by far better.

No, but you can think of it as a spider web... Or do what everybody else does, and think of it as a chart with a bunch of numbers saying the odds of winning.

Well.. It happens with any competitive game, and it depends on what level of play you're looking at. Every character has strengths and weaknesses, and certain techniques only they can do. Obvious weaknesses like Ness/Lucas having to use PKThunder as their recovery are easy to notice. Weaknesses like the infinite grab against Ness and Lucas with Marth are found out as the game is played. Low level players wouldn't be aware of things like hitboxes, priorities, and advanced techniques, so tiers don't matter. High level players know all about these things and how to exploit them, which is why tiers make the most sense at this level. Yoshi had SAF on his second jump... he still has some in brawl, but not as much as you could want... He could do a rising nair now though, because his second jump used to cancel which would result in airs faster than you could with shffls. Yoshi gained and lost alot... Don't john about tiers. If you win, "OMFG I beat you with the weakest character in the game!!! You suck!!" If you lose, "It doesn't matter, Captain falcon is the weakest character in the game anyways." If you want to lose a low tier, that's fine, but don't make excuses. Except if your opponent is MK, he has no weaknesses. :XD: Snake, Falco, GaW, DDD all has bad matchups across the tiers. Tier lists are all about matchups now anyways.

A better way to slay Dagannoths! ~Revamped!~
Whip, Fury, Proselyte top and bottom, Dragon gloves, Barrow gloves, and Rune defender.

Bgs or DFS
I agree with this for now, when you get 95+ attack the DFS may be worth it to you, I personally use it just because I piety everything so I dont have to worry about attack bonus. But at lower levels you need the accuracy more. I'd say with most tasks, an R defender is better.

I was referring to the Mutated ones, but yeah, I wasn't considering his level...
-
Bgs or DFS
DFS sucks compared to R defender, and BGS is only useful for GWD and PvP.

I wouldn't call 12k+ Magic xp/hour little... it honestly depends on the task. And yeah, the call feature is really terrible. The reason I use combat familiars is because I don't need Guthans. 8-) I get hit by many Fire giants (just an ex) and let my familiar kill one completely by himself. It works for me. The only ones I use combat familiar on are Black Demons (Praying melee anyways), Fire Giants (An inven of lobsters does the whole task with a steel titan) and Dagannoths. All the rest of them I use bunyip/unicorn (I normally piety every task in initiate so unicorn is needed for many). Bloodvelds, Nechryaels, and Dust devils all work too. And if you do use a Piety, you're right, you do sometimes need the Unicorn if you're wearing Proselyte.

Ray, Snake's cheapest attack is his ftilt and his grenades. MK can't stall the whole game due to his lack of projectiles. Azen mains TL, and he's one of the best in the world. Honestly, screw tiers, they aren't that important unless you pick MK. The high tiers are are almost all equal, low tiers are usually placed there because they have a big weakness. (Ness and grab release...) Don't worry, Toon link is a great character. Plus, if you suck as much as you claim, tiers really wouldn't affect you...

Saradomin Boss
You're at 30 life, to get hit by a 25, 5 hp left. It works pretty well for me... I'd say use it.

Mining quiestions! F2P.
Yeah, do that if you don't have 57 Summoning. Granite is always a better option, though.

Get 57 Summoning and teleport to Piscatoris with a Kyatt, then bank at Castle wars with a Dueling ring. I'm not sure how much you can mine in an hour...

Barrow Armour
It is preferable over Bandos in some cases, too.
