I've got $181 to spend at Gamestop.
I'm sort of leaning towards the PS3 now just because it's cheaper in the sense that I wouldn't need to buy a $100 adapter. Like I said before though, my main TV isn't HD. Obviously the graphics would be worse, but is it still worth it if I don't have an HD set? Doable, but not recommended. Honestly, the PS3 graphics can be crazy good, especially on non-ported games. Although I do have a friend with a ps3 and a 20 inch TV, and he doesn't mind ;)

Is it just me, or did Wrath spike up a player's stats greatly? And I thought my 25% crit chance was awesome in BC... and I dont think you were even aiming for crit rating.

That's probably my favorite instance to pug. But: if someone wants to "take a shortcut"; dont, you will probably still aggro everything in there.

Rpg, do you really want me to come over there and punch you? GET THE [bleep] OVER HER ALREADY! She [bleep]ing cheated you over a [cabbage] load of times, and you just wanna hang out with her just a week MORE!? Seriously dude, [bleep]ing end it, and get yourself a nice movie if you want! (You know what type of movie I mean). END IT NOW! Oh, and I have a bad long term memory (fortunately, not with names). but what does "gftog" stand for? Sorry if I sound like and idiot, but you really need a way out of this "fairy tale" you think you're living in.

Yup, you should save up and get the T10 chest seeing that your current one is the lowest iLvl out of shoulders/helm/chest and hope that you can score gloves/legs from VoA. And you need to get replacements for the spellpower gear. And selfless armory link dump of my no lifing/time i've wasted on WoW  : http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Adrianromero http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Mozaiq http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Finalsky http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Raginghardon Yeah by the weekend I should have the emblems to replace the legs, and I was going to buy t10 gloves. Other than that my gear is all the right class. Tbh, that necklace, cape, and second trinket look like stuff I would get if I specced in Survival on my hunter. EDIT: what stats improve hit rating? Is it just armour/gems that say "Hit Rating" on them? Or would something like agility also improve it?

Im impressed... you're adventures make mine look like trash. What class/race are you, Yguy? And I'm still wondering if it's worth it going on that big treasure hunt for those lvl 70 epics, is it worth it? Also, just did my first Pick-Up Raid yesterday in Karazhan. It was PAINFUL because we had 4 other hunters in the raid, although I've still gotten an iLvl 115 epic (which frankly, sucks against my lvl 115 rare in that slot...), and then the MT complained about one of the hunters (still no clue who...) and rage quit after two bosses. That kinda ended the whole damn raid.

basketball or football or baseball
Basketball first, whoever said basketball is the same thing over and over again, never been on a team. Football second, love the contact, although all the breaks get DAMN annoying after a while. And Baseball: it's golf with a bat and a bigger ball, and the hole is the frickin' stadium. And the breaks there are WORSE than football.

NBA - 2011-2012 Season Discussion
Try being a raptor here, things are looking [bleep]ing bleak. This is a nice summary from a guy commenting on a blog: So true, so true. We were fifth at one point, and then things started sliding down from there, and now we put it all on the line in this last game against the Knicks, only to have Chicago blast past Charlotte, and now Bosh is surely gone, and I have to stare at Hedo Turkoglu face every single damn day for the next 5 damn years.... Can someone stick a gun in Turkoglu's locker?

Because I was a [wagon] and didn't think levelling is so easy in this game. :wall: And I dont have Wrath until this summer, and even then, I might not get it. :ohnoes: Just saying it's kind of pointless to play the game at 70 unless you're doing a PvP twink or something. No one "actually" raids at lvl 70 anymore. Yeah, I get that, that's kind of why Im starting with this instead of starting with an easy raid like Karazhan.

Well, let me get this straight... I need 127 hit rating to not be able to miss on bosses at level 70 for Special Attacks? Thank god, I thought I had to gem my red sockets for some hit rating too.... Anyways, I've been doing some Heroics and Caverns of Time normal Instances. Love the challenge Heroics give you, and the Escape from Durholde Keep is pretty awesome, especially when you first meet the Epoch Hunter. Oh, and I'm thinking of getting myself some items from different people (tell me if I missed something about them, like if any of them are BOP): Netherdrake Helm Fletcher's Gloves of the Phoenix Belt of the Black Eagle Bindings of Lighting Reflexes Thick Netherscale Breastplate Heartseeker Scope Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer Hard Khorium Band X2 That, in total, comes down to: 60 netherdragon scales 30 primal fires 12 primal mana 260 knothide leather 3 primal nether 92 primal air 38 wind scales 8 primal might 16 sunmotes 2 nether vortex 2 rune thread 4 hearts of darkness 4 primal waters 44 primal earth 10 saronite bar 2 twilight opal 110 adamantite bar 26 khorium bars 24 fel iron bar 16 Eternium bar 480 extra adamantite ore (prospecting) So, three things: Are my numbers correct? Is it worth it to get into raiding? Am I insane? And yes, I know it will take a long time, I played Runescape, I can handle it.

I find Gearscore extremely annoying, although I haven't found myself getting kicked for it. Isn't there like 5 different GS calcs? And they all give different results? And they can all be "cheated" by using gear that's not even of your class? Honestly? Anyways.... Just hit lvl 70 on Monday, and I am seriously wishing for Wrath right now. Im probably only gonna get it during the summer though... ah well, that will be fun. So... is there any gear and/or quests I should aim for? I am currently doing random dungeons (will do random heroics once I get all the keys required), and it is pretty fun. I remember at first I accidentally chose a random Heroic, and found myself in Hellfire Ramparts (after a 1 hour wait). It was a pretty good group, although the lock died pretty much every fight because he did 50% of the dps (!?). Later on, I tried normal DF, and found myself in some... interesting groups. E.G. Having a DK try taking, then having us steal his targets, another Paladin rage quitting because the priest will keep burning his mana, another DK tank who was getting pwned big time with his Unholy spec, and a healer that would just sit there and do nothing. So... uhm... yeah, what should I be reaching for? Im not level 80, so I can't do anything close to Random Heroics for Frost Emblems  EDIT: Oh, and some addons I could use would be nice. I only have Auctioneer right now.

I hope you're switching to aspect of the viper when you're oom ;) Big mistake most hunters make :P Aye, I do, I tend to use AotV a lot, seeing that I switch to it when Im picking up loot in between fights.

It's been some time since ive last posted here... Anyways, Im level 66 right now, and enjoying my time here. Im right now doing quests in terokkar forest (I dont care if they are too low levelled for me!). I also chose the Marksmanship talent tree, however I switch to my second spec (BM) whenever Im attempting a group quest alone. It's funny how easily it is to fight elites with the BM spec, I usually just laugh, then I see that Im OOM and another add comes in.... The thing that I didn't expect, though, is the levelling speed in this game. Im used with the grindingly slow process of levelling in Runescape, but here it's damn quick. I really expected myself to never get to the Wotlk content, but Im a few levels away from that... I feel proud of myself ;) . Anyways, out of curiosity: for pug in City Chat for ICC, Im seriously wondering what do they have as the minimum requirements for gear.... PS: is the jump in item level from BC to Wrath as big as what it was from vanilla to BC? I remember staring at the rewards from Hellfire peninsula in awe.... PPS: What's the hit cap? I have a rough idea of what it is, and Im wondering what's the hitcap is for me. Damn, I have lots of questions

The official World of Warcraft thread.
Thanks for the tips guys :) . 1. I currently still have herblarism and skinning as my two proffessions, and they are giving me WAY more money than I need. I right now have 600 gold on me, and I've already spent as much as I could to get the best items I could find for my level at the auction house + I now have 3 frostweave bags which pretty much means I'll never need to drop items ever again. My herblarism gives me A LOT of money, and the medium leather I find these days from skinning is a nice side-moneymaker. I might switch over skinning for engineering though because of the arrows you can make with it, and use herblarism for money (unless I make more money from raids). 2. Although so far I've been told that BM is the best talent tree for me, I looked over the talent trees, and I just love the Marksmanship tree. The ability to do a lot of damage really appeals to me, and although it would be hard to keep enemies off me sometimes, with a good tank I might be able to do quite well (in raids, at least). So yeah, I'm currently thinking of a talent tree similar to this one (at level 70) http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc.xml?cid=3&tal=000000000000000000000000000053350310300132331050310515000032000000000000000000000 So... does that sound good?

The official World of Warcraft thread.
So, anyways.... I started playing WoW, and as a noob, I can say that this game is EXTREMELY complex. I just bought WoW and the BC expansion, and I'm currently patching up. My main is a level 20 Night Elf Hunter, which is my favourite class after trying a few (second is druid, third is warrior). I just love my little Pet Raptor from Durotar, got him at level 10 after corpse dragging myself from Ashenvale to Durotar, and to be honest, it was worth it :) . So, anyways, I have three questions, two of them are opinion, and one is probably a noob question: 1. What are the best primary proffessions for my class? I currently have herbalism and skinning, which helps get in quite some money, but I'm wondering if I should drop one of the skils (or both), for a production skill or two. On a related note, do herbs and leather sell well on the auction house? I usually sell my leather to vendors, although I kept my low level herbs, and at last count I have 123 Peaceblooms, 122 Silverleaves, 81 Earthroots, 15 mageroyal, 7 briarthorn, 2 bruiseweed and 3 stranglekelp, although the number for the higher level herbs are WAY higher. So.... should I sell them on the AH? 2. What is a good talent build for a Night Elf Hunter who likes to Solo, although some raiding occassionally wouldn't hurt? As much detail as possible wouldn't hurt, as I really want to know what would be the best build to..... enhance my experience. 3. How do you get to see more of your action bar? I've seen many people in videos who have a secondary action bar on the side, and I am seriously wondering how to get that. Also, I have to learn how to use a macro
